Stay Far Away from Noelani! If you can even schedule a freaking appointment. I was given a groupon voucher as a Christmas gift to help me relax! What a joke!
I spent months calling and texting Noelani to make an appointment. She would verify my appointment and then either text or call the had to reschedule once due to a regular client taking importance, once because she had to baby sit and once because the double booked melt time.
I made 6 different appointments and felt like I had to spend such an effort. If she doesn’t want the clients and doesn’t respect Groupon she should not offer her vouchers there.
I got a refund from Groupon. I’ve never had a bad experience using their site until Noelani. How unprofessional. If she didn’t want my business she should have told me the first time I booked an appointment. I spent hours of my time rescheduling and trying to find a time that would fit her schedule. Seriously hours of my time!!! If only you could send her the bill for wasted time.
Attached is a photo of one our our text conversations where she changed my time because a regular client was apparently more important even though I’d had my appointment booked for over a week. Then she called me and had me written down as the wrong client name, she then told me she had double booked my time and needed to reschedule me.

I bought this voucher from groupon, and first I couldn’t get hold of the merchant. When I finally did after leaving bunch of messages and waited for weeks, the merchant cancelled on the first appointment. Of course it took me another weeks to re-​schedule for the next one, but there was another issue and it did not work out. I can’t reach the merchant again, and I no longer wanted to waste my time. I finally end up canceling the voucher and got a refund.

STAY AWAY AND DO NOT BUY A GROUPON OR LIVING SOCIAL VOUCHER. Like the majority of the Unilocal posters here, I too left numerous messages when attempting to redeem my Groupon (way before the expiration date). Noelani’s was absolutely unresponsive to my three voicemail messages, and the calls were never picked up. I indicated in my last voicemail message that if I didn’t hear back from them by a certain timeframe, I would let Groupon know they were unresponsive and request a refund. This is what I ended up doing.
Finally Noelani’s texted me saying they will not redeem a voucher for a former client. The only time I saw one of their therapists was about four years ago. You would think they would want to earn back my business. And I certainly did not consider myself a «client» of theirs after such a long hiatus. I do recall the massage at the time to be decent and I was willing to return.
The text from Noelani’s indicated that they lose money on vouchers. They clearly do not want to redeem them and are hunting for new business but I would stay away from this business struggling to provide decent customer service or refusing to honor these vouchers so buyer, beware. This business (also known as Noelani’s Bodyworks) is NOT recommended.

I met Noelani through purchasing a Groupon voucher. It was for a 90 mins lomi lomi massage. It was excellent and actually, one of the best massages I have ever received. She was able to detect the spots that needed to be worked on and the pressure was perfect for my tense muscles.
I encountered no communication issues (unlike most of the negative reviews below) with Noelani except I acknowledge that she was booked up with her Groupon promotion (as reasonably expected) so that my appointment was booked a couple weeks in advance.
The room was clean and the shop provided a peaceful environment. I would recommend visiting Noelani. She charges a reasonable rate without the Groupon and I would return to her.

Had a very good massage by Debi. No problems, good communication when setting up my appointment by leaving messages, got callbacks and text.
Entrance is upstairs from the moped shop, go to the side of the shop to the stairs.
Don’t know why some of the negative reviews.

Had a groupon for an hr lomi lomi or deep tissue massage. I haven’t retrieved my massage yet, not do I think I’m going to bother. WHY? Because customer server is worthless.
I followed the instructions and called the number and the voicemail advised to text my available… I have texted twice and still no reply. I have called and no pick up. I have called maybe 5x and no pick up. That says a lot for customer service. Discount or no discount, we are paying customers and with that said, would I even bother retrieving what I paid for, nope. But thanks to groupon I can report Noelani Bodyworks and give them a tip about horrible customer service and get a refund.

BLUF: hard to book, location not so great, masseuse was very nice, but the massage wasn’t the best. I guess it’s what to be expected for $ 35. Read on for the DEETS.
I had a Living Social coupon that I purchased on ⁷⁄₂₅ for $ 35. It was for a 1-​hour massage with foot soak. I called the number to schedule, and the voicemail said to text. So I texted with the dates I had in mind (which were days off), so any appointment time would have worked. But instead she texted me back a specific date and time. So I took it. This was scheduled on 8/​14/​for a ⁸⁄₂₆ appointment. She then texted me on 8÷24÷15, two days prior to the appointment to ask if I could come a half hour later, no big deal.
On the big day, I texted her in the morning to confirm time and ask for the address. She responded quickly with the address. Then, as I was driving home from work around 4:00, she left me a voicemail saying she wasn’t feeling well and would have to reschedule. So I asked if she had anything available that weekend. She replied that she doesn’t work weekends. I then offered ⁹⁄₄ (another day off). She replied «how’s ⁹⁄₂ at 6pm». So to avoid any further delays I took it.
So today I went for my massage. I found the location, which is located on the second level behind a dingy moped rental place, I had to ask the moped guy where 750D was (because there was no sign) and he pointed me to an alley. Kind of a run down building with a lot of random’s loitering on the sidewalk. I got to the second floor and opened the door and was pleasantly surprised by what the place looked like (in comparison to the outside). Debbie greeted me warmly showed me to my room and we were off.
We made small talk (a bit more than I’m used to for a «relaxing» massage), she was very friendly. It was not the best massage, the pressure was all over the place. It started great on my back, not so much on my legs, non existent on my feet. Then I flipped over for some more very light leg action followed by neck and head. The head (my favorite part) only lasted a few minutes :0(and we were done. I didn’t realize until I got home that I never got the foot soak, which she also never mentioned.

I really wish I checked Unilocal first! I am in the same situation with all of you unable to redeem the Living Social coupon due to no one responding to a request for an appointment. I tried calling, the message from Debbie says to text. I texted and left a voice message and nothing. I am requesting a refund for sure. Why bother posting a coupon if you really don’t want the business?

First of all, after many times of making phone calls to try and schedule an appointment my boyfriend and I were finally able to get one together.
We scheduled the last two hours of the day so I could make sure we have time to go into town through traffic and maybe have dinner after a nice relaxing massage. We weren’t too familiar with the area so we came an hour early to make sure we can find parking.
The place is hard to find, it’s in the back of the building behind the moped shop. When we got there no one came to greet us. We sat in the waiting area for almost 40 minutes.
Around 5:05pm, we started getting worried so we knocked on each door to see if anyone was inside. Behind the last door, there was a lady, but she quickly put her hand up and closed the door.
It was 5:20pm and I started to write a note to her about being very unprofessional. She came out and did not apologize. All she said was, «when I work on my customers it’s not dealing with relaxing and massage, but for pain and she lost track of time.» I told her we were waiting her for almost an hour and she just said, «ok then, well have a nice evening.» Seems like she’s used to giving bad service. What a waste of our time!!!

I’m in the same situation as many for Noelani’s massage therapy. I bought a Living Social 3 days ago and have not been able to contact anybody because the mailbox at two phone numbers is full. Before purchasing the Living Social deal, I checked their Unilocal review and there were many good reviews and the pictures look fine. However, it’s definitely not a deal if you can’t get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. Hopefully I’ll be able to contact somebody soon.

Beware people who buy from living social deals I haven t gone because I don’t get a reply and I just get «I’m busy» I never knew it would be such bad customer service

Noelani has great intuitive perception of massage and how to get just what needs to be done accomplished.
However, a little unprofessional on the scheduling and timeliness side.
She is a massage artist, finicky with her scheduling and being on time to her appointments.
I was lucky enough to get a great massage, albeit with some hiccups, but it doesn’t seem like a reliable place.

I left 4 messages over about a week. No call back. I was going to redeem a living social certificate, but requested a refund from living social instead. Too bad for Noelani Massage Therapy. I was going to use a certificate at first but then hopefully have a weekly massage place. I also was looking for a massage place in that area to take my friends to on a regular basis. They lost a bit of business by not wanting to deal with the certificates. I wish I read the other reviews before I bought the certificate.
***They did call me back a day after I wrote the review. I decided to move them from 1 star to 2 for at least calling me back even if it was after I already requested a refund.

My wife and I purchased a massage through Living Social. We were concerned after reading some of the comments on Unilocal.However we did not have a problem booking an appointment. As a matter of fact she squeezed us in when she heard we were leaving. We were very impressed with the massage. She is very good and friendly. So, don’t hesitate to call her. We left a message on her phone to book the appointment.

Like some other reviewers, I was not able to redeem my Living Social voucher. Noelani seems very nice and good at what she does, but I think her business practices could be improved to better serve her customers.

I say «attempting» because I actually wasn’t able to redeem the coupon due to no one ever picking up the phone or returning my calls. As much as I love a good deal, I won’t beg a company to take my business.
I called multiple times, left detailed messages asking to return my calls, and ultimately just gave up. The last time I called, the phone didn’t even ring — just went straight to voicemail. From other reviews, it sounds like there seem to be a few servicing issues. I’m disappointed ultimately, because I definitely wanted a massage!
The silver lining was that Living Social was extremely understanding in refunding me my purchase. If anyone else is having difficulties, a quick call to Living Social should resolve your problem!

Someone (I’m assuming Noelani) returned my call today for the most recent message I left 9 days ago. A nice gesture to be sure, but even if I still had my vouchers, they would have already expired. Oh well.

After leaving three messages, I finally got a call back. She outright told me that she wasn’t going to bust her ass doing a deep tissue massage on a LivingSocial deal. Not to expect much for the discounted price. She told me I needed to book multiple secessions to get that. She was not very professional and I got a bad feeling from the whole conversation. I quickly cancelled the deal for a refund with LivingSocial. After looking at the pictures on Unilocal,I’m glad I did.

Although the location is a little hidden & a bit unconventional, once you enter the space it is quite calm & peaceful. This was my 2^nd visit with Noelani and was very satisfied with my massage, especially since I took advantage of a Living Social Deals offer! Noelani’s pressure & long strokes were spot on and left my session feeling relaxed.

Two stars instead of one because I didn’t actually get a massage. Had a very unprofessional and confusing experience over the phone when trying to redeem a Living Social coupon. Will not be going to here for a massage.

Must be seriously kidding me. Made an appointment after being rescheduled once by HER already and showed up at my appointment time and my masseuse wasn’t even here! Called the number at appointment time and even waited for 25 min in the office. Another customer came in and apparently there’s different people that rent out the area. Well… the female masseuse I made the appointment with never showed up. Save yourselves the time with this mess… I’m done!!! Unreal…
