Established in 1991.

We have specialized in mopeds since the start & are one of hawaii’s oldest companies in the field. Our main focus is on SMC moped, Mopeds & Scooters. Rexy model & also Yamaha mopeds as well.

We offer a wide range of parts from Italy, Japan, Taiwan & other parts of the world. Importing directly from manufactures. We are the exlusive distributor for;

Polini, Daytona, Phongeer, Koso, Stage 6, Leo Vinci, Farizi, Athena, Dellorto, SMC, Benelli, Malaguti, & sell many items for Yamaha.

We offer a great selection of accesories from locks, helmets, trunks, covers, alarms, baskets, wind screens, surf racks, and much more. If we dont stock it, we can try to order it for you.

Tired of the run around off of craigslist for Minarelli high performance parts/​phone tag b.s. Check out this place! 16+yrs an counting in experience. All the SMC Rexy mopeds still running around Hawaii came from this man! Its good to talk to someone who knows minarelli motors.
His prices are pretty competitive with the internet+shipping. The show room has eye candy blingin everywhere! Great customer service-​plus parking. ! Good repair work too! Real positive an friendly environment!

I had been having trouble swapping out my new license plate on my motorcycle when I found this place on Unilocal.I called to ask if they would be able to help. The man I spoke with on the phone was George. He was polite and seemed to genuinely care about my issue. He informed me that unfortunately the shop did not work on my particular kind of bike but if I wanted to come in he would take a look and see what he could do. So, I did. Upon arrival George introduced himself and took a look at my bike. Fortunately, he was able to help with my problem and didn’t even charge me! Turns out George is actually the owner. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I gave home 20 bucks for the the help. I definitely recommend this place.

This is an edit to a lower rated review. Very busy shop. Can be hard to schedule an appointment. Which can be challenging living in waipahu, with rail construction it takes me more than an hour to get to the shop. Whatever issues come up, George is willing to work them out and get them resolved. I guess the shop is busy for good reason. They sell great mopeds and have great staff.

Have a moped I am restoring and moto source has all the parts I needed to make it happen. prices are competitive, location is great for me, parking in back is limited though. also has a good selection of used bikes. store is clean. they specialize in only certain brands, but pretty much service most.

I have done business with George and his staff at MotoSource for five years. I bought 2 Rexy 50’s from him, and both have run great and required only minimal service. George does good work and is very knowledgeable about his field.
More importantly, George is an ethical businessman who is honest and hardworking. His repairs are always very affordable, and multiple times he has done work for me for free, for example if he didn’t catch some minor secondary issue when evaluating my bike to give me a service quote. I have even seen him do several hours worth of labor without extra charge in order to help a customer in a pinch. Highly recommend this business.

George and his staff are hardworking, professional and deliver prime customer service upon every visit. As a moped owner in Honolulu, I have had my share problems ranging from theft to a torn drive belt. George has always serviced my bike at minimal cost and has completed the service within three to five days. He is honest and goes out of his way to ensure that all safety requirements are met before sending me back on to the road. I am a loyal customer of Motosource.

George is extremely helpful and approachable. He made an exception and helped fix the brakes on this crappy moped I bought (even though it was not one of the brands that they sell) because it was dangerous for me to ride it around and also probably because he knew (not to feed into the gender stereotypes) I’m a girl so obviously don’t know the first thing about mopeds. So thank you so much for your help, George! His mopeds and scooters are also Taiwanese brands, which are far more better quality than the Chinese made ones; if you’re looking for a new ride, this is the place to go.

I have been shopping for a moped for about 6 months when I discovered MOTOSOURCE HAWAII! George and his gang are supernatural professionals. After cruising the moped around for 3 months the spark plug needed change. I called MOTOSOURCE HAWAII and was told to just drop it off. Couple hours later got a call to pick it up. It was the most convenient service I received in a long time! The moped runs great! Buy from this shop, they KNOW what there doing.

I’ve been to many moped shops over the years. It’s a relatively small community so everyone knows who the go to guys are. Don’t believe me? Call the shop. George is not only helpful but he’s fair, honest and actually cares about the work that he does.
I’ve never once felt ripped off or that they didn’t do a good job when I left the shop.
Bottom line… Top notch customer service with top notch mechanical work.
Back to it being a small community for the past year no one has been allowed to touch my moped except for George and his crew. I’ve been bamboozled enough times to know great work when I see it.
He recently did souped up my 72cc water cooled (well not water it’s an actual radiator but you get the point) moped. Up to a 120 cc water cooled kit that is insanely fast now. So if you want great work done at more than reasonable prices then this is the shop for you.

This is a great place for your new or used mopeds. The friendly and professional staff stand behind their product 100% and are ready to assist you in all your moped needs! What separates and makes Motosource unique is that they primarily work on only mopeds they sell. It makes them operate very much like a big dealership but with a special personal touch. Specializing means no more generic parts that need modifications to fit your ride and no added labor. They treat each moped as if it was there own and you’ll often see them cleaning and polishing mopeds after repairs are completed. Another unique aspect this company stresses is safety. While other shops will sell you aftermarket parts to go faster, George makes safety paramount and his team will stress your needs to stop. Just today I bought brake upgrades to ensure my stopping power is on par with my mopeds engine power. Go check them out! you will not be disappointed!

My Rexy Moped starting to crap out – lost speed on the take-​off, top speed deteriorate. George and his crew gave me a straightforward estimate of the cost and recommendations for better maintenance. Even though the on-​call mechanic had limited time, they still managed to turn the bike repair around in 2 hours despite the predicted 4 or 5 hours. The moped runs like a dream now. I highly recommend MotoSource Hawaii and only MotoSource Hawaii for moped purchases and repairs.

George, James and the gang at MotoSource is the only place I take my bikes to have repaired, modified etc. They have done what some others couldn’t do. Every project I take there they have come through for me. I’ve met alot of other riders and made friends through them. James is my primary tuner and does an excellent job that others can’t even match, even mainland shops. My last project 89 CW50C was modified by Chad and it turned out great. They installed the large disc rotor whicj I thought wouldn’t have fit. My 04 Zuma is awaiting the Daytona wheels and forks install next. I trust only them to do it. I recomend this shop for anyone with the Yamaha/​Minarelli design motor.

I have been an exceptionally satisfied customer of Motosource Hawaii since 2006 when I first Moved to Honolulu. They have always provided uncompromising service and quality. George, the Owner, takes pride in his business and it shows. His employees are happy and helpful, his prices are fair, and the quality of his scooters speak for themselves. If anything, the biggest problem I have is that his scooters and parts are in such high demand I’m constantly worried a thief will try to steal it!
I have purchased 2 scooters from Motosource over the years, and both always drove without a problem. If I ever heard a rattling or something came loose (i think this happened once), all I ever needed to do was drop on by and they would fix it up like new.
You get what you pay for and at Motosource you get high quality products and friendly service. I’ve had 7 friends (that I know of) purchase scooters from Motosource and I know for a fact that every single one of them was glad they chose Motosource. My one friend who didn’t take my advice, he went through 3 scooters in 1 year before he came around to the obvious answer to his problem… Motosource.

This is the only place I trust with my bikes. James is the best tuner I know. None of the engines have failed me. Even mainland riders ask me how did you get your bike to go that fast or where the parts came from. I tell em George at Motosource. We’re lucky to have a shop like them that’s easy to get to. Some mainlanders have to go 100’s of miles. Let alone tune it themselves, which usually ends in failure.
The day they close up shop is the day I quit riding mopeds.

George is awesome. I’ve been dealing with him since 1992. He is very straight forward and is very fair in pricing compared to other moped shops. I would recommend the Rexy mopeds he brings in to anyone looking for QUALITY in a moped. There are a lot of other shops bringing in their own brands of mopeds, but the fact is there only two moped brands that rate high in quality and durability and the Rexy is one of them. His staff is very helpful and knowledgable. You will not find another moped shop with cleaner more professional looking staff then Motosource. Go and visit for yourself, and compare Motosource with other shops. Look at the facilities, is the person you are talking to clean and helpful or do they look like some backyard butcher who thinks the know about mopeds There are only three stores that have been in the business as long as George has. Most of these other fly by night moped shops that keep opening up will not be around for long. Thank you Motosource and George.

MSH has the best, most knowledgeable staff in the islands when it comes to mopeds. I researched all the dealers here on Oahu when it came time to replace my dead Yamaha. Other dealers & service shops wanted my dead Yamaha plus as much as I paid for the brand new SMC out the door at MSH. Oh… what killed the Yamaha? Another local repair shop that has changed locations at least 3 times. The reveiw by George b seems to be totally opposite from my experience with MSH. They will only sell you a used part after telling you that it is and what may happen because of the fact the part is used.
