Live Love Lash

I had my lashes done by Jade for about three months before I tried another individual. Since Jade was my very first lash experience I simply wanted to compare styles and techniques. The purpose of my review is not to be critical. Rather, I hope it’s more constructive.
I do have to agree with a few of the reviews. When I got my initial set, I wasn’t sure how to react. They were long, yes. However, I wanted more of a subtle look instead of a «Well hey there, long lashes!» Jade assured me I’d get used to them, and I did. However, I think an adequate consultation should take place prior to applying lashes. This may include asking customers what look they’re going for, their reason for getting lashes, and showing them different lash lengths and curls, etc.
Fast forward a few more sessions. One thing I really appreciated about Jade is that she does free touch ups a few days/​weeks after to make sure your lashes are doing alright. Normally, I just tipped her a few extra dollars as a thank you. However, towards the end of the three months, I noticed my lashes were falling out like crazy, leaving really embarrassing bald spots on my lash line. We had gone with thicker lashes and she was also adding volume to them. I always tried to be pretty meticulous with my lashes so I always wondered if I did something different than before (i.e. did I work out too early and not let the glue set??). Either way, when I went to my new lash lady, she explained that the lashes used might have been too heavy and that my natural lashes were looking a little unhealthy. She suggested I use a type of lash conditioner to help my natural lashes grow and to help strengthen them. She also used lighter lashes than what I had before. Bottom line, if you do get lashes, just make sure you understand the risks-​eye lash extensions have the potential to damage your natural lashes– you still have to take care of your original set so that you actually have (strong) lashes to apply extensions on.
So there you have it. I do agree with other reviewers that if you want big, Jade may be your go to. She is incredibly sweet and really cares about her clients. I did however, want more subtle and natural — and I’d prefer if others commented me more on how natural my lashes looked vs. asking me where I got my lashes done (this actually happened– she could just tell they weren’t real). And after a few scheduling mishaps, and getting a regular mosquito bites while getting my lashes (I might suggest a fan since her lash area is open to her patio), I’ve decided to take my business else where. Regardless of where you go though, do your research, take care of your natural lashes, and try other individuals until you find the right fit for you.

Like a previous Unilocaler had mentioned, clumpy glue.
I like the more natural look, like the pictures shown.
I got the opposite. It was too much for me. Obviously fake and overdone. Way too long.
After trimming them and some had actually already fallen out due to the glue? –looks a lot better.
She’s SO sweet and her house is to DIE for! If you like big and bold. she’s the one to go to. I like subtle, soft and a more natural look. So this just wasn’t a good match for me.

When Jade says «you’ll be addicted» She was not kidding.
It’s the first time I’ve done extensions and yes I am… «ADDICTED»
I have enough natural eyelashes to be able to put mascara on and have them look good.
But I wanted more. She was able to take me as a last minute appointment which I am so grateful for. Most of the other places are booked weeks in advance.
I was a little hesitant going in.
Jade is friendly and makes your feel really comfortable her auro is so positive.
First time I went in I wanted them to look natural and she provided. I walked out a very satisfied customer.
Since I got used the the look I wanted fuller.
She provided that the following week when I came in for a retouch.
And yes I was even more satisfied the 2^nd time around.
Her work is amazing.
Everyone gave me such great compliments and I inform them that it’s all Jade.
I will be going back to her for sure.

Jade is absolutely wonderful! I went to her to get my very first set of lash extensions applied and I am so glad I chose her! They look PERFECT and they are exactly what I wanted (in fact, I didn’t even know exactly what I wanted but she’s such a pro she knew just what I was trying to say!). I’m almost 7 months pregnant and get overheated VERY easily. When I first l lied down and she started I got extremely uncomfortable and had to take a break… twice (pre pregnancy I would’ve fallen asleep almost immediately!). She did everything she could to accommodate me and was so patient and sweet. If I had gone anywhere else I would’ve been embarrassed and probably told to come back a different time and try again. But Jade went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed (almost fell asleep!). She genuinely cares how you feel about your lashes and wants to make sure you love them. I left feeling beautiful and couldn’t love them more! I can’t recommend her enough!

Jade is PHENOMENAL. I have gotten lashes done consistently over the years, and thus know quality. Her products and her service are the absolute BEST! If you’re looking for lashes, Jade is a MUST !! Xx

I was visiting Oahu a month ago and found Jade on Unilocal.I have since returned to the mainland and just got a retouch last weekend. I wish that I had the income to visit her every time I needed a retouch! When you first meet her, you will be greeted by such a beautiful and positive spirit. That vibe is transferred to her work to make you look and feel as gorgeous as she is. I have had my eye lashes done for over 4 years. Jade’s work is by far the best, because she knows the proper techniques and really cares about her clients. I highly encourage that you call Jade first before anyone on this Unilocal page, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Jade, you are awesome!

I’m not sure about the clunky review because Jade is absolutely AMAZING! She’s so sweet and great at what she does! She hates to have you leave not loving your lashes 100%. I’ve never had my lashes done before so I didn’t know what to expect but I did know I wanted them to look natural but full. That may not make sense but to be honest when I got them done I thought they were too long and told her I wanted to come back and get them shortened she felt so bad because she thought I didn’t like them and she scheduled me for the following Monday. She said there would be no charge because it was still within the first week. She tried to tell me that it takes some getting used to and that I would end up liking them. She was so right! I loved them I still went back to get them retouched a little because some of them did fall out which is natural and I love it. So if you’ve never done lashes before and you’re like me who does their makeup naturally trust Jade. She knows what length and what you will look good in thanks Jade!

Loving my lashes. Jade is an expert she knows exactly how to work with you to get the look that you want. She is really nice and very sweet. Nice place not crowded and noisy you can relax and fall asleep while she’s doing your lashes. Definitely coming back for a retouch. Highly recommended!

So, I was really reluctant to update my post because Jade is so amazingly sweet.
A couple days after having my extensions I realized that the glue was really clunky. It was so clunky that it made my lashes really stiff. I know it’s painful and bad to remove them yourself but in this case when I removed them myself it wasn’t even painful because of the clunky glue I was able to just peel them off my real lashes.
Sadly, I’m not returning and sticking with the glue on lashes for a bit.

There are a lot of places out there that claim to do lashes so you need to be careful when you choose who to see. Jade at Live Love Lash does an excellent job and uses the best products. She is very caring and concientous, and each time I have been no less than thrilled with the results! Thank you Jade! I will definitely be referring others to you as well

I would recommend Jade to anyone! Not only is she really flexible with your schedule and accommodating last minute visits, but she always delivers what you ask for!
I’ve never received lash extensions before and was really concerned that my lifestyle would make maintaining them too difficult… I’m outdoors a lot, workout daily, love to swim, and although I hate to admit it, I’m not a ‘graceful’ sleeper. I definitely rub my eyes when I sleep. Jade is so meticulous in her work though that the extensions always last for me! She’s terrific about providing care instructions and even doing a touch up if there are any mishaps in your first week.
I’m also in the military (so ok I know these aren’t technically allowed…) but that just means we have to be really careful with them looking natural. No one can tell they’re false lashes! Just luscious, ‘real’ ones: D Thanks Jade!!!

I went to Jade after my sister’s recommendation. It was my first time doing eye lash extension, and my experience with Jade was awesome! I am very satisfied with the outcome, and Jade has such a good positive energy. I went in with my sister, and we just chatted and hang out there all afternoon. Mine took about 2 hours. Jade was patient, very detailed orientated. She got every single spot!
I thought extension might feel heavy on your eye lids but they felt like nothing but when you look in the mirror, we see a big difference! Love it love it! And it’s totally worth the time and money. I feel pretty and good about myself :)

So we arrived to the studio which is in the owners house, beautiful location up on Pali Highway. The owner Jade is very charming and has built a lovely studio just for her Eyelash trade. While she was getting wifey settled in, she even offered me the use of her back deck where I could enjoy a cigar whilst she did her thing.
Wife loves the lashes, to me they look amazing and more «natural» then what she usually gets. Would recommend.

Jade is so wonderful, so accommodating with appointments, a delight to chat with or just relax and nap in her comfy space while she makes you look beautiful!

Tried it finally. Was super relaxing. Your eyes are closed and they don’t really talk to you so of course I slept a little. Very comfortable. Did not hurt. I told her I wanted natural-​looking and not club-​looking. That’s what I got. Kinda wish I’d gone a tad more glam but was a good first impression. I’ll go in 3 weeks for a fill and add some more fullness but not sure I have the time to keep it up. I had Lauren. She was very nice.

JADE is awesome at doing what she loves. SHe dose lashes really amazing. I would definitely go to her again! she always make sure that you’ll leave happy.

Woohoo Jade!!! She is definitely the best. I have tried many places before to go to her place. She uses high quality lashes and now I do not need to use mascara every day. I highly recommend getting your eyelashes done with her :) Mahalo Jade.

My eye lashes are long, but very thin from too much handling, like curling and wearing mascara DAILY. A friend recommended I get eye lash extensions, just to make them look fuller, so I went to Live Love Lash. I was a little hesitant at first, that they might look too artificial, but they didn’t. Jade did an amazing job! They look full, lush, and completely natural! I’ve been going to Jade for a while now, and since then, I haven’t been curling and wearing as much eye makeup as I used to. Now, my lashes look so much healthier– without the extensions. I am so happy with my eyelashes thanks to Jade and her amazing quality of work!

I am an Asian, yea, my eye lashes are thin and short, I am a flight attendant, so we always need to present the best make up natural looking in the work. I have tried so many different eye lash places, Jade/​love live lash is the best for me so far. First of all, very natural looking, all I need to do is put on the eye liner, then my eyes are looks sparkling; second, good quality eye lashes, stay nice for weeks; last, jade always make sure I like how the eye lashes looks and make sure I am happy with it, her service is amazing. Also, you will have your private place and nice music, it’s nothing compare to waiting on the line and feel the rush. I love how my eye lashes looks and strongly recommend this place for your beauty.
