Lashes By Tiff

Tiff was very professional, easy to talk to, and the lashes came out amazingly. I had a really bad experience at another salon and eas hesitant about getting them done again, but Tiff reassured me that everything would be okay. She took very good care of me, and paid attention to every detail she even offered to tint my lower lashes and eyebrows to make them pop, and oh was she right on the money. Love them… thanks Tiff!

This review is long overdue. Where do I start? I’ve never had much in way of lashes. I was always on the prowl for some kind of miracle mascara, and too afraid to try false lashes. I could see myself looking like a I Love Lucy rerun. When I celebrated a milestone birthday with plans to fly to NYC, I wanted to spice it up a bit. So I went to see Tiff. Wow! How did I live all these years without lashes?! One of the things I love and appreciate about Tiff is that she is first and foremost concerned about the health of your lashes and won’t do anything to jeopardize them. It’s been four glorious months and I am so happy with my lashes, the compliments I’m always getting and the joy of know Tiff. She’s professional, kind and so down to earth. I love being a girlie girl!

I’ve searched long and hard to find the perfect lash technician. Without trying to discredit by naming others, Tiff is THE BEST technician in the Honolulu area. Her quality of work is superb for the prices she charge.
Honestly, I was skeptical at first to give her a try. I’ve had bad experiences before where my lashes immediately fell after getting a new set. But this time was a game changer. I don’t know what type of glue Tiff uses, but there’s something about the quality in products and methods she uses. I got a full set from her the first time, and my lashes stayed on for days. This was through water, exercise, running errands, being constantly on the go, … my usual daily routines. I lost about 3 lashes in the first week, and most of the lashes began falling out towards the ending of the 2^nd week/​beginning of 3^rd week… which is totally normal and at same time very unexpected (in a very good way). Bottom line is, I truly got my money’s worth in the value of service I received.
Quality aside… customer service is top notch as well. Tiff is easily reachable via text or call. She’s accommodating to what type of styles you want, and offers many recommendations based of your face shape, eye shape, etc. She really does a thorough analysis! She’s very friendly and is always staying up to date with new beauty products/​services that are up and coming. If I could recommend anyone for eyelash extensions, it’d be Tiff. Thanks Tiff!

Update for 10/​11/​2015: Went back for a 2-​week fill. Tiff noted that my eyelash loss was about average despite the fact that I’m heavily active 5 days a week with long distance running or intense cardio like Zumba or Turbo Kickboxing. My eyelashes didn’t hold up so well on my right eye but Tiff assured me that like our other body parts, we have bigger/​smaller/​more/​less on different sides of our eyes in terms of natural lashes. She suggested, showed, and even offered a contoured eye mask to use while sleeping since I mentioned a concern that I might be rubbing my eyes in my sleep. I’m going to be looking for my own eye mask in the next week.
This appointment went faster (since it was a fill) and since I went with the natural look, cost a very reasonable $ 40. I was in and out within 40 minutes this time around.
What’s really cool about Tiff is her willingness to seek further professional certification. She was letting me know that she’ll soon be acquiring expertise in micro blading eyebrow tattoo procedures. Something to consider for the future.
I’ll be back in three weeks to see what my threshold will be for lash extensions!

I think what I like the most about this lash bar compared to the rest is that Tiff is very skilled at what she does. She can wax, do lashes, and do 3D brow!
I love the quality of my lashes, I have been to several places in Honolulu (Raiz salon, Cute and Lotus — NEVER AGAIN, Kristin Wood and The Lash Studio in Chinatown). And she is the best priced for quality and I love her and how sweet she is. I recently went on a 4 week trip and I loved that through surf, deep sea swims, snorkeling, sleeping on my right side of my face to scootering around Italy, they stayed on without a fill for that duration of time. However, I do recommend seeing her every 2 – 3 weeks so they’re the optimum best and ladies make sure to book in advance! She has specials!
Word of advice, if you are already going to a lash salon and are in the middle of a fill, I would say to give Tiff a try! She has some of the best lashes I’ve come across, she’s explained to me that she has hers from Korea and Japan and is constantly going to trade shows to find the best of the best.
Can’t wait to try her new service of 3D brow /​brow embroidery in October!!!

Love her! She really took the time to analyze my eye shape as well as my natural lashes. I really appreciate that. Rather than a previous tech I had that would just say «What do you want?» «Everybody’s lashes are different.» My lashes feel so natural and light. I forget they are even there.

There are so many lash ladies in Oahu but tiff is by far the best talent, service, and price wise wise. After doing my set w tiff I left realizing I actually wanted way more volume than I left with, i contacted tiff and she fixed them right away for me. She really can give u what you’re looking for. Her office/​spa is so clean refreshing and with great music! I also love that she didn’t pressure me into any extra products or services. She told me to try them out and if lash extensions were for me we could always try new styles! I left w two lash combs, amazing lashes & a great experience!

Where shall I start… OK Well first of all I’ve been doing my lashes for about 10 yrs now (give or take) Since before it was even popular on the islands, So I’m NOT new to the lash game. Second after about 5 or six different lash experts I came across Tiff. Needless to say I wont be going to anyone else. Tiff got me for good!!! She’s sweet, accommodating; and knows her stuff! I love my lashes every time I leave her spot! She makes me feel BEAUTIFUL and ALWAYS does a AMAZING job!!! She is truly a gem which comes HIGHLY recommended.

I was referred to Tiff by a friend who raved about her lash work. I just moved back to Honolulu after living in Seattle for the last 5 years and I thought it would be a tedious task to find another lash expert, but after getting my first set of lashes done by Tiff I will not be looking elsewhere.
One of the things I love about Tiff is that she was able to recommend various lash styles that would fit my eye shape. Her space is easy to find with parking out front. She has a wide array of the highest quality lashes to choose from and her work area is clean and tidy.

Got my first lash extension by Tiff — and boy am I glad I did! I chose long lashes and then got nervous that I had chosen lashes that were way too long. But actually, they’re perfect! Tiff did an amazing job making them look natural and classy and during the whole process she was easy to talk to and explained the process really well. I can’t say enough nice things about Tiff and her work — she’s just plain awesome. I highly highly recommend her and I’ll definitely be back! Thanks so much Tiff!

I have an update… Tiff was the first person I ever went to, to do my lashes. And I wanted Tiff as well as everyone else to know that those lashed stayed on for a month + with only a few falling out and only a few being fussy and being crooked. LOL. I filled them in since then at Zen Lashes (Sherman Oaks), but not because I had to, only because I wanted them a little fuller. I think that if I didn’t do a «fill», they would have probably lasted easily 2 months. Thanks again Tiff.

Got my lashes done for the first time with Tiff and I absolutely love them! She made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. As soon as I was able to see the ending result, I was amazed! Definitely will be going back!

I had to attend an event and I wanted something extra, so I decided to get extensions, this was my 1^st time, but Tiff was great, made me feel comfortable & explained all that it would entail. Clean & easy to locate, enough parking spaces.

What can I say?!

The cost of lash extensions is enough to drive people away but with Tiff’s prices and results you can’t help but WIN!
She has a variety of lashes and glues to accommodate all eye shapes, allergies/​sensitivities and even cooler she has COLORS to give it some extra GLAM!

I saw a living social for lashes and thought why not. The regular prices are super reasonable, environment was clean & relaxing. Tiff was really nice, helped me pick out the length and explained what she was doing. She was fun to chat with. I have snorkeled & swam with them and after 1 week they are still like new. I have received a ton of compliments and will be re-​booking!
Took 3 weeks to loose my 1^st lash. Went for a $ 40. fill, at 4 weeks and had only lost a few. They grew out nicely and didnt have the harsh line that less experienced technicians do. I’m super impressed with Tiff and my lashes!

Great, simply great! She’ll text me reminders or updates on new things, I can be a forgetful person at times and love the new things she gets in. She’s done my lashes twice and even touched them up (I found out there were colors so she added red)! She’s been working on my eyebrows as well, I’ve been trying to grow them back and they aren’t coming in so well but when I leave I look like a normal person. If there are earlier appointments she lets me know and I’m always excited to go in. Plus, she has an amazing personality. I love it and highly recommend seeing her.

Tiff is a star! I saw her ad in Craigslist for eyelash extensions. At first I was skeptical about how much she was charging for such a service because I know eyelash extensions can go well into hundreds of dollars. But, I figured I mind as well try, if I get the heebie jeebies, at least I can leave without fear.
Leading up to my appointment, I kept in contact with Tiff to ease my anxiety and get a feel for who she was as well. The day of my appointment came, when I arrived at the spa, I was greeted immediately by Tiff. She was warm and welcoming and quick to answer all my questions. The room she worked out of was clean, relaxing, and cozy. All her tools and what she would be using for the extensions were all sterilized and her work area was organized.
Before starting, I let tiff know that my outer corner lashes would curl naturally while the rest would fall flat and straight in no time regardless of what mascara, curler, and whatever else I’ve ever tried I used. She quickly got to work, and was unafraid to consult with me the whole time I laid on table. My lashes because of the curl were difficult to work with, but Tiff was persistent in making my extensions loom amazing. When she was done I was so pleased to see the results! They were exactly what I was looking for and she really gave me the lashes I should have been born with!
I keep in constant contact with Tiff anytime I have questions about my lashes or about upcoming appointments I have scheduled with her. She is always quick to respond and has the friendliest demeanor. She has also recently added eyebrow extensions and eyebrow henna to her service list and you know I’m about to jump on that!!!
Her prices are on point, her work is beautiful, and she is so great at what she does! I’m almost afraid to post this review because I’m afraid she’ll get too busy!!! But, she definitely deserves recognition for her great work! Thanks Tiff!

I had a great experience with Tiff today! It was my first time getting lash extensions and she patiently answered every question I had (and I had many!) I especially liked her «bedside» manner. She chatted with me as long as I continued to make conversation but when I stopped talking to relax, so did she. She frequently checked to make sure I was doing ok (lying awake with your eyes closed for a long time is harder than it sounds!) and was very attentive.
She shares the space she works out of with Jade from Wax Appeal who is equally as awesome at what she does! The building is in a residential area but do not let this deter you. It is well kept, her work area is clean and neat, and reserved parking is right outside the front door.
As a low maintenance woman who rarely wears makeup, I asked for natural looking extensions. I wanted to be able to tell that I had them on, without feeling like my vision was affected or that I looked like snuffleupagus. Tiff delivered, and I was pleasantly surprised by the result. My lashes look great, as if I put on mascara and curled them, without actually having to do that. If I wasn’t such a tomboy, I’d be hooked!

Haven’t had my lashes done but this girl gives the BEST facials! The whole cleansing experience is super relaxing and comes with massage. My face always feels rejuvenated and looks amazing when she’s done. Best in town!
