Little Hawaii Rent A Car

I was more than satisfied with Little Hawaii Rentals. Of course all other rentals were simply ridiculously expensive and then I stumbled upon Little Hawaii. We booked a discount car for our three week stay. Little Hawaii was extremely flexible and laid back. We were allowed to pick up the car way earlier in the day than planned and were delighted to even receive an upgrade. Upon mistaking our departure date, we frantically called to see if we could extend one more day. Any other place would have probably charged us double/​triple. Not at Little Hawaii, they told me it would be no problem to return the car the day after and were even kind enough to waive the extra day as a cherry on top. I will definitely go back to Little Hawaii the next time we visit. Highly recommended. Filled with aloha!

Great local alternative to the chain rental car companies and also lower cost. I rented a mini van for my family for 4 days in Honolulu. I was able to pick up and drop off from a different location. The Eco Cab was on time for my airport drop-​off.
Some tips — their locations do not have big signage so ask for landmarks to help locate the office. Their employees were really helpful with that. Also there’s a $ 100 charge for sand and smoking.

Such a great experience with these guys! Great car. Great customer service. Amazing price. The whole thing was a breeze. No reason to rent from anyone else.

Laurie was super awesome, helpful and reliable from the moment I called.
I called a few weeks out of our trip and many other places were already sold out, or extremely expensive! I found Little Hawaii on Unilocal and called for more info.
They picked up right away and were able to reserve me a car. They included an airport pick up and drop off into the price, so it was even more reasonable. With the $ 50 for $ 75, I was able to rent a car for a couple of days within my budget.
When we got to the airport, the EcoCab was there waiting for us. It took all of 5 min to get to Little Hawaii and Laurie was there waiting with the car ready to go. It was great Bc we were in a hurry to get to a wedding. No lines. No fuss.
The car was clean, new, nice and a hybrid on top! We got GREAT gas mileage! Always a plus in Hawaii, Bc gas is $$$$.
The drop off was fairly seamless as well.
Overall, we would definitely use them again!

5 stars only because that’s the max I can give! It was my first time in Hawaii and Nathan showed true aloha spirit Hawaii was known for. I had to rent a car last minute and Nathan was very accommodating and was able to get me a Mini Cooper Convertible at an amazing rate. The day I was suppose to return the car, Nathan even offered to pick up the car himself at the hotel I was staying at so I didn’t have to rush to the airport. Talk about AMAZING customer service!!! Mahalo Nathan! I will definitely see you again when I return to Hawaii :]

Cheap ass rentals is probably the basis of its appeal. Owner was very friendly and personable. Although most of the rentals are older models they are still well maintained. Kamaaina get a discount so don’t forget to mention it when you reserve your rental. They did skip a little on the cleaning but for the price you pay and the service you get you’ll forget about anything negative you have to say about your rental. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick rental and cheap rental.

First of all I have to say I have not rented the car yet but just wanted to rate the wonderful reservation service I received! Laurie was so helpful. Terrific staff and service. I will update my review once we have completed the experience.

If you are in the market for a good priced car that is in fine running condition this is your place! Nathan provided excellent service, had multiple locations allowing me to pick up my vehicle near my friends in Waikiki and drop it off near the airport with a complimentary ride to the airport! The pickup location was an office at a mechanic shop, makes me think they must keep their cars well maintained, and the drop off was at a taxi Co. Allowing for an easy transition to the free taxi shuttle to the airport! This is small business at its finest.

I wanted to see abut renting a Mini Cooper while in Hawaii so I could see what they drove like what a better way? I sent an Email requesting availability and price for rental and did not get a reply. I then called and got a guy on a cell phone who asked if he could call me back because he was with a customer delivering a car so I said sure and mentioned I had sent an Email so he could call and or Email me the information which he said he would. Well I did not get a call or an Email. I then called a few more times to get no answer and no return calls or Email with any type of information. So I say do NOT waist your precious time on these people who do not even have the consideration to call, email and or at least tell you they do not have availability or anything. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

This place rocks!!! Tae is a fantastic owner and really just an awesome experience… we loved our Mini so much that we extended our rental for another day. We just returned it this morning and we were sad all day =(Mini convertible was great and really an awesome way to enjoy Oahu. Customer service is exceptional here and really would recommend them to everyone.
