Extremely friendly receptionist/​nurses. They explained a misunderstanding from a little while ago and was so nice about it even though it was my mistake! Very caring to their patients and they are really good at explaining things!

Enjoying outdoor activities under beautiful, sunny and trade wind days in Hawaii has been part of my daily routine while growing up here. Heck, my parents would take us to cavort on the beaches, grill and picnic at parks and sometimes run ourselves ragged while running around the beach parks and shopping malls. We didn’t use sunscreen, wear sunglasses or sun protective clothes back then. I used to take my eyesight for granted as I was the only one in my family who didn’t need vision corrective glasses. My parents and my siblings all did. I would get my eyes and vision checked at least annually until my optometrist referred me to Dr. Lin for eye surgical procedures.
I’ve been under the excellent care of Dr. Ken C. Lin for the past several years. He’s removed a growth from one of my eyes caused by sun exposure with minimal downtime and discomfort. He is genuinely concerned for your eye health and care. I’ve learned how to take better care of my eyes. Several years ago, Dr. Lin received Honolulu’s Best Ophthalmologist Award. He constantly keeps himself abreast with the ophthalmology field. His staff is very friendly, organized and helpful. Recently, when this office transitioned their medical records from hard copy to electronic, we were asked for our patience, too. A little bit of inconvenience, but so worth it for maintaining patient information accuracy and privacy in the 21^st Century. This office also has up-​to-​date medical supplies and eye screening equipment that are well-​maintained and clean. Most of the staff members are either bilingual or multilingual with English as primary language.
It gets crowded even with appointments but, be don’t be deterred. The wait times have decreased from when I first started coming to this office. Credit goes to better office management to this popular and talented physician.
