One of my absolute favorite gyros ever. The meat was super flavorful, and abundant. The sauce was perfect and the veggies were crisp. The garlic fries were well seasoned, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is service was a little slow and the the women handing the food out were very rude.

My bf and I tried the gyro combo meal which comes with a gyro, seasoned garlic fries, and a drink(can of soda or juice). The gyro itself was pretty good and was filled with meat! I was full after eating it and haven’t even touched the fries yet haha. The fries, although made to order and nice and crispy, I found to be too salty… But it was pretty good nonetheless. The lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming :) we will be back again to try some hummus, spanakopita, and baklava. Yum! The only downside(as is the case with all the food vendors outside of don quijote, is that it’s cash only)

For starters, they were very nice and pleasant to speak with. It was hot out so and I was in the mood for something on the cooler side so I ordered the gyros salad with extra olives, my wife ordered the gyros sandwich. My wife lived her gyro. The winner was definitely the salad though. Nice portion of meat(probably same amount my wife got), fresh greens, and a full slice of pita, along with the usual onions, tomatoes, tzatzikiki… basically the as thing as the gyro but more veggies!

Extremely nice food. After a long without Greek food I thought why not try this one and wow I’m glad I did. Fresh, original Greek flavor and the tzaziki is awesome! Do yourself a favor and ask for the Gyros Sandwich. The bread is so fresh and delicious I wanna go again

I never really cared for gyros until I came here. The gyros are consistently tasty and the garlic fries so awesome — they are made to order so they are always crispy and fresh! It’s located outside of Don Q so there’s plenty of seating and also plenty of parking.

I ordered the Falafel Sandwich and I was disappointed. The falafels were soft and not too tasty. I’m used to the falafels being crispy on the outside and full of flavor on the inside. The service was really slow and the person working didn’t seem like she was happy to be working at all. The only positive thing that I can say is that it was very filling.

I love this place. The lady who works there is so sweet, the food is super tasty(I’m obsessed with the falafel plate), and it’s well priced. Their pita and hummus are really fresh. It was so good that I forgot to take a photo… Next time…

I had the falafel sandwich — they were freshly fried for me and filled up the pita. The hummus was excellent and they topped it with plenty of tahini. Service was terrific. Only $ 7 and it was enough to eat. Make sure you ask for a fork and a handful of extra napkins.

I found this place on Unilocal one day when I was craving something different. I looked up greek food and saw this place had pretty good reviews. It was walking distance from my office so I decided to just walk there and order instead of phone ordering. I got the combo special(gyro, fries and drink) for a little under $ 10. Whoa!!! The gyro was super tasty and fries were cooked to order!!! Loved this place so much that our entire office ate here for 3 days straight.

Their baklava is to die for! Great pricing, awesome food, and friendly staff! Two thumbs up! The markdown comes from them being cash only; I almost never just carry cash, do it’s taken me some getting used to with Leo’s. Such an easy adjustment for me to make, considering how yummy the food I’ll get in return is! Hehe ;)

This is the only place I dig in on gyros. Sometime two of them. Please work on a ketchup dispenser and I will give this place 5 stars.

The only acceptable Greek restaurant that I’ve found near Ala Moana. I love the Gyro plate it’s definitely my favourite dish here. I would recommend going when the ladies are serving because they give better portions. The guy whom I’m assuming is Greek and probably the owner is only good for his looks. Lol. Food: I give the food four stars. It’s very good for the price you pay not the best Greek food I’ve ever had but it’s definitely up there. Location: I give it five stars. Very convenient because it’s in front of Don Quixote. Able to shop and eat in one visit. Service: I give it three stars. Very standard service. I love the local lady that works there. She’s very charismatic and nice. I haven’t seen here for a while though so that sucks. The Greek guy that I’m assuming is the owner gives very basic service, nothing special but at least he’s good looking. Lol. Anyways, I highly recommend coming here for some Greek eating. I’ve never been disappointed with the quality just sometimes the quantity. Hahaha. Enjoy!

Unilocal 365 Challenge 2015 #4/365 I hate that all of the food vendors in front of Don Quijote only accept cash. However, when I do have cash, I stop by. I’ve been craving a good gyro, it’s probably been a few years since I’ve had one. After finishing work, I went outside and came here. They have around 9 or 10 menu selections, but in my opinion, that’s all they really need. I ordered the Gyro Value Combo($ 8.95) which came with a gyro, fries, and a drink. The worker was friendly, and prepared my food rather quickly. The whole experience only lasted about 10 minutes. I got home and busted open my food, and I wish I had more fries, because the seasoning was tasty. The gyro itself was great too. I loved the sauce inside, and getting a big bite with the sauce, vegetables, and meat is pure bliss. I thought gyros were bigger, but maybe it’s because the last time I had one, I was smaller. Great place for a quick lunch, especially after you’re too lazy to cook the food you just bought from Don Quijote. PARKING: Free in the Don Quijote parking lot, but may cost you your sanity if you go at a busy time. Extra note: Cash only!

For the price and quality of food they serve this place offers good value for your money. I’ve had the and falafel gyro and they are generous with their filling. Most of the time I pull out some of the meat from my gyro and save it for later to eat on a salad. Very tasty stuff. Sometime you have to wait a while for you food(especially during lunch hour) due there only being one worker that’s doing everything. My advice is if your only going to pick up a few things from Don Quijote put your order in before you shop. I also love the fact that they season their fries with garlic salt.

Great gyro sandwich, made quickly with good service. This one had more meat than other places and very flavorful. Deducting one star because I really wanted moussaka but, sadly, they had sold out. I’ll be back!

Tonight I finally remembered this place after doing my grocery shopping at Don Quijote. I was very happy with the quality of my food. I had a standard gyro sandwich. The lamb meat was plentiful, vegetables fresh, pita bread soft and strong, and tzaziki delicious(I was even given extra on request). There was no line, and service was fast in general. The attendant was very friendly. The only negative is the ‘cash only’ policy– I always take this as a cheap/lazy sign at any business. Regardless, I’ll be stopping by again!

Something about ordering Mediterranean food from a random DQ stand scared me a little, but after I’ve come here more than a few times, my tune has changed! The food has always been excellent. Tasty, hot, and if you ask for a lil’ more sauce they’ll gladly oblige you. While some people may not find service the friendliest all of the time, it’s a lot of… what you put into it is what you get out of it… kind of deal. Yeah, i get it, they’re serving you food so some folk expect super bubbly happiness all the time, but its a hot little booth that gets pretty busy, and they’re always really friendly if you’re nice to them first, so… it is what it is. I’ve gotten nothing but good service with a smile there. Be nice, get treated nice. Be grouchy, get good food with a lil’ tude. Parking stinks, but its DQ so that’s a given. Prices are decent, the food is derishious, and the service is as quick as it’s gonna get. As the rating says, «Yay! I’m a fan.» p. s. the baklava is homemade and yummeh yummeh in the tummeh. Do it!

This small stand is just outside Don Quijote and it’s a pretty good place for its size. It’s the second time I’ve been here and its no different from the first. The food is great. I just love the dolmades(stuffed grape leaves) with all that seasoned rice inside. The falafle plate was really good too with the hummus and pita bread. The hummus wasn’t as tangy as I like it to be but it was ok. For the price of this plate I would like to see a little more hummus and replace the salad with baba ghanoush or some tabouli to match the amount of pita bread. I would suggest eating it there but then again… I was pressed for time so I had take out instead. I’m sure it’ll taste better because my rice was cold in the dolmades when I got home. Honestly I dont think I’d wanna eat it there anyways because its too crowded and had some people having solo conversations. Customer service on both occasions was friendly. The wait is a little long but enjoying the food later pays off in the end. I would recommend this place to anyone if at a moments notice when your exiting Don Quijote’s, and you suddenly have the urge for a quick bite of some greek food.
