Over the course of 10 years, I have suffered from PCOS which causes horrific facial hair growth. I looked into laser hair removal in WV, TN, KY and many other states. Everyone wanted to sell you packages that weren’t cost friendly for a working class family. After moving to Hawaii, my hair growth got worse and I started the process of pricing for LHR. I found Laser Hair Removal of Hawaii and scheduled a consultation. I feared for that same huge mark up, like I found on the mainland. I was so impressed with this company and their «Price Point». They didn’t try to sign me up for a membership or pay 1000s of dollars for treatments I might not need. They did however; treat me like family, and gave me my life back. I no longer have to fret about when I can leave the house for fear of a «5 o’clock shadow. These ladies hands down care about making life better for all the clients that walk in the door. I am forever greatful for there services and caring attitude.

The stars are for Sheren for her friendliness and making me feel at ease during the procedure. It was definitely painful but what I was really disappointed about was the pricing. Make sure they quote u the right price and that is per visit, not per set of visits. When comparing prices, they charge more than the other places that uses the newer machine. In addition to that, I noticed scabbing as well. I cancelled my future appointment and I’m taking my hard earned money elsewhere.

if you have a lot of body parts to do you are better off buying your own lumenis light sheer lazer machine. they said my underarms would be free for the rest of my life since i paid for at least 15 sessions on it but as time goes by the story changes and now the price for so called touch ups is getting higher. mind you that body part supposed to be free for life for me per kim.
keep your own records and when kim tells you something put it in writing in your notes and have her sign it because she will forget, especially if its a promise of free treatments or touch ups
kim is a happy upbeat person but desperation has lead to broken promises and its pretty obvious when the lies come pouring out. also she does not respect your privacy i hear her in person talking about clients to other clients. she says their name what they had done and even talks about their private parts. i will do my own private parts etc thank you

Kim was delightful and immediately earned my trust. As I filled out my first visit paperwork, she kept me engaged and entertained. By the time she asked me if I was ready for my treatment, I was so much more ready than I had been, I almost felt like I had been waiting to ride a roller coaster, and we all know what hair removal is really like.
Sheren was an expert with the laser. The session was over before I knew it, and I had a rather large area done.
Practically painless? Ha!!! Only because you want it gone forever! If you are reading this review, you should know, any kind of permanent hair removal, ANY KIND, is not enjoyable and some areas are worse than others. That said… Sheren and her laser work fast! The pain is forgotten almost immediately. It is worth it. It is not that bad at all, especially if you have ever shaved and/​or waxed and/​or epilated your legs… and elsewhere… and know you will need to do it again… and again… and again.
It is like getting a tattoo but far less painful. It is permanent. Unlike a tattoo, it removes things instead if creating them, and it is much, MUCH faster. But again, like a tattoo, it will cover large portions of the body, over multiple treatments.
I already have my next treatment (s) booked.
Any technician who talks to you, and keeps your mind off of their work is quite helpful. Someone who can keep you engaged in conversation is invaluable. Sheren kept me engaged. Sheren was great. Kim would shout through the walls at times. It made me laugh! Again, it was all over before I knew it.
The pain, each and every ZAP, confirmed I would never have to shave or wax some percentage of that area again, because I knew this is the only way I would completely remedy that particular hair issue. Electrolysis? Are you kidding me? Only if you MUST!!!
I have focused on the realism. I know, a reviewer should say «It was almost painless, and easy». I didn’t say that. Also, it smells like burning hair. That is how it works. You smell your hair burn. Any place you go, if they do it right, you smell it burn.
Kim and Sheren somehow manage to do it right by being good people. I did not know either one of them before today, nor did I know anyone who recommended me. I followed the advice of a stranger.
They, Sheren and Kim, are worth the price of admission. I left feeling disappointed it was over already, when I was prepared to be tortured for my own vanity issues. «That was it?» They are like the nurse that gave you a shot when you were a child, and they tricked you into not noticing… but this shot can take hours and you STILL hardly notice. I didn’t listen to music. I didn’t take a pain killer. I just went.
This is why I have focused on pain and burning hair in this review. Because they, Kim and Sheren, took the painful thoughts away from me every single time I noticed. I didn’t forget. It was simply over before it started. They worked some real magic.

Sheren and Kim are both fantastic! I normally go to Sheren, however either one is fine with me and it just depends on the scheduling. They are professional, the office is clean, and they explain everything to you as well. Kim is a pro and has been doing this for years and has taught Sheren well too. LOVE these ladies, just wish they were closer to the West side… I keep telling them to open a Leeward location :)

I have been going to Sheren since June of 2012 and she is the best! She is very professional and does a great job and she makes you feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend her to everyone!

As a licensed Esthetician Im very critical of laser and skin care establishments, and I’m very happy to say that after my session today with Kim I can say that Laser hair removal of hawaii is by far the best on the Island.
Kim was patient, pleasant and very fast while being very accurate! She uses the best machine on the market on her wall is proof of her laser education. I will recommend her to my friends, family and to my clients!

Sheren is the best! I’ve had several appointments and she is always professional, the office is clean and does excellent quality work. Knowing that the hairs will be gone forever, makes this the best investment!

Kim is the best! She makes you feel very comfortable and its clean/private.!Its expensive but well worth the money!

I don’t get to see Kim as much anymore since I’m virtually hairless now but I get to see her every 6 mos or so if I feel the need for a touchup. She’s still #1 in my books! Kim still specialized in laser hair removal ONLY so… go to her she’s the best!

I was referred to this place by the woman who does my waxing and decided to give it a try. I’m super happy I gave laser treatment a shot. Kim is amazing and always works with your schedule. She makes you feel super comfortable and lets you know what she’s doing. If you have any issues, or areas to pay more attention to, she listens. I’ve never had to wait for an appointment, she always sees me right away. Great experience each and every appointment!

Kim is amazing! I would totally recommend seeing her. She can walk over everything with you, make you feel comfortable, great sense of humor and most of all her training, expertise and knowledge.
I got my armpits and brazilain bikini area done and I am completely happy with what she has done.
