Even though I squeeze lemon on my fried shrimp I’m still not satisfied and no taste on the tarter best believe I’m not coming back here again and also rice wasn’t cooked well

May not be the nicest L&L, but it’s a one of the best plate lunch places in Hawaii. The FIRST L&L BBQ of the franchise, started by Eddie Flores. Located urban Liliha, it’s a place I’ve been going to my whole life. Donno why, but their BBQ Chicken Plate just is the best on the island. And maybe it’s just a Hawaii thing, but Hawaii’s L&Ls are better all around than the Mainland & International L&Ls. I tend to go «all rice»(in substitution for Mac Salad) but ever so often I get a craving for Mac Salad as well. Also go «no skin» for a little«healthier» option. L&L also offers carb-less options for their plates. Loco Moco, Shrimp Katsu Burger, Chicken Katsu Curry &BBQ Cheese Burger are other favorites. Free parking is a one way driveway

Like most local people growing up in Hawaii, L&L has become a staple amongst local food. I’ve been a customer since I was a kid and up until recently I find out they have a closer location to my house Where am I going with this exactly? Although I’ve been a customer for years, I will no longer by dining due to the poor customer service One Monday I ordered a mini loco moco. Keep in mind when I ordered there was one other customer behind me and the place empty. As I waited I watched 5 – 6 customers place their orders and surprisingly get their food before me . As the place emptied I hoped the cashier would’ve recognized I was waiting. Beyond pissed, I approached him and he suddenly remembered my order. I began to tell him how waiting for my order and watching people get there’s and having to approach him to remember was bs. He apologized and went to the back to make my order. By this point I think my food should’ve been free! On top of it he didn’t even give me a bag for my food. Just gave it and turned his back. Congratulations on your new location and losing a loyal customer. I do hope in the future that you teach your cashier better customer service.
