I was eating lunch at Livestock Tavern with the gf — Jules Y., when I mentioned to her that one of my cheap watches had crapped out, and that I needed a new watch battery.
I figured since I was in Chinatown, there must be a shop somewhere within the vicinity where they could change my watch battery quickly, & hopefully at a great price too… this is where Kingdom Jade & Jewelers comes into play.
Upon finishing lunch, we decided to take a little stroll along hotel street, and just as I was gonna head further west, I noticed a Jewelry shop kinda across the street (diagonally) from the Livestock Tavern.
Upon walking into the shop, I see a man helping two ladies, while he was helping them, he addresses me and tells me that he will get to me after finishing up with the ladies.
I told the clerk — «all I came here for, was that I needed a new battery for my watch».
The clerk, took one look at my watch, then he tells me he could replace my watch battery for $ 6.00 bucks!
Dealages Yo!!!
I then ask him, «how long will it take?» As I really didn’t want to leave the watch, & come back to Chinatown on another day.
He tells me, as soon as he’s done with the ladies, just give him about 5 minutes or so… I told him — «dude…you gotta a deal!!!»
After he is done with the two ladies, he goes straight to his work bench, & he starts working on the replacement of the battery on my watch.
As I am waiting for the clerk, I secretly start snapping photos like a ninja within the shop… even my gf — Jules Y., didn’t know I was taking these photos ! Lol!
When the clerk is done, he even takes the time to adjust the correct time to my watch. (Nice touch dude!)
I plop my $ 6.00 buck down on the table, and put my watch back onto my wrist… and off I went, a happy camper!
If I’m ever in the Chinatown area, and I need a new battery… I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again.

God, I hope it will last at least a year! But I would be more than happy to report to back to Jules Y. of my findings, so she can get back at you curious folks… K? Lol!

First impressions are important. And my first impression is that this is a great Watch Battery Replacement place!
LOCATION: is smack dab downtown in Chinatown, pretty much kitty corner from Livestock Tavern, across Lucky Belly, and in the same building as Phở’hana (sp?) on the left of the building heading in the Ewa/​West direction.
SMALL, HOLE IN THE WALL STORE: The staff person looks Chinese but speaks regular English without any hint of Chinese accent. He’s not smiley but very cordial, business-​like, and pleasant.
PARKING: At one of the nearby municipal structured parking lots or street parking if you see it available.
SURROUNDING AREA: Well, it’s Chinatown where lots of good priced produce and seafood are sold and some strange homeless-​looking ppl seem to like hanging out in this entire area in general. The sidewalk area around this business doesn’t seem the cleanest looking but if you want $ 6 watch battery replacement, just forgive the area ;)
Today bf Fran C. needs to change out his watch battery:
We enter the store and see the staff person inside talking with a customer.
The staff person briefly looks up at Fran C. politely asks Fran C. what Fran C. needs then asks Fran C. to give him a moment bc he was with a customer. (Obviously with a customer but that’s just so nice of that staff person to say/​do.)
We take some time to become somewhat acclimated to the store interior. There are short and tall glass showcases containing what look like used jewelry and watch items. We couldn’t be for sure but the watch items were one each and of different brands and styles.
Once we were acclimated (I guess it seemed we were), the staff person again briefly stopped to check if we needed anything in the meantime. Fran C. informed him he was there for watch battery replacement and the staff person asked to see the watch, took a look at the face, and said it would cost $ 6. Fran C. agreed and the staff person put Fran C.‘s watch on the counter to do upon finishing up business with the current patron.
Fran C. asked how long it would take and the staff person confidently replied: 5 minutes.
Meanwhile I Unilocal,and little do I know, Fran C. is stealthily snapping Unilocaly photos of this place hahaha
I look up and Fran C. is standing next to me paying for the $ 6 battery replacement fee.
Boy, that was quick!

BATTERY TYPE: I’m not sure of the watch brand (guess I should have looked!) but it’s probably a standard watch battery. Perhaps call if you want to know whether they actually carry the battery brand/​type you’ll need.
AS FOR WHETHER THE BATTERY WILL LAST: IDK! ;) Will lyk via update here when I notice the battery needs to be changed in that same watch! (I’ll remember which one hehehe)
If you need and desire quick, courteous watch battery replacement service, this is a great place to come! :D

Nice selection of product and you can negotiate on the price. Better pricing than other stores in neighborhood.

Interesting store full of jade jewelry and Chinese charms.
Positive: They were very helpful and knowledgeable of the significance of the charms.
Negative: Felt a little «pushed» in our purchase, but was relieved we got a good price after browsing at other shops that sold the same thing.
