K. Ifuku Radiator

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Called to see if a radiator for my car was available. A lady on the phone told me it is available at warehouse, and will receive in 2 hrs. 2hrs later she called me, and picked up with no hassle. Highly recommend!

Brought my Toyota Sequoia in to get my radiator changed out. They did a engine check for any engine damage and to my relief I am still okay, there is some concern but not serious engine damage. I. Ifuku Radiator was able to replace my radiator that day and Joy in the front office provided very friendly and professional service. What I am most impressed was the fact that I paid less than the estimate they gave me over the phone of how much it was going to cost. I was quoted a lesser price for the radiator a couple of days previous to me dropping the car off and they made the price adjustment before I could inquire about it. That says a lot about the company and their integrity.
When I was growing up in Kona, my dad had his own shop and I worked in it. I was debating whether or not to do the job myself as it is a fairly simple thing to so but I lack all of the tools and equipment on this island to do a diagnostic of the engine. For the price I paid to get it all done was a «no brainer» on my part. The best part of it all is no oil under the finger nails and in the cracks on my hand from years of working on the farm and in the shop. I highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Saved my dodge ram at a reasonable price. Mom and pop shop I’d recommend to anyone needing there coolant system serviced. I work on my own vehicle most of the time, so I know the price of parts, time per job etc. Very fair pricing, fast turn around time. Many thanks!

No complaints. Took my car to another guy and he quoted me over a thousand and said I was better off getting a new car. Took it here with out even making an appointment and they were able to save my car for less than half of what the other guy quoted. They were fast (one day over night and I picked it up the next morning) and called me to let me know it was ready. Also they offered me the old parts when they had to replace my radiator which to me shows that they are trustworthy.

I love cars. Unfortunately, I know very little about what goes on under the hood. Last week I started hearing some noises from the engine, and had the «SERVICE ENGINE SOON» light come on. I asked around where I should go, and I was pointed in this direction. I stopped by and was referred to the office. I made an appointment for the next morning and brought it in. I was asked if I could leave the car overnight, which probably would have been easier… I only said no because I needed my car for work, and I work until late. The service was done a little earlier than promised, and I asked around; apparently I paid a good price for what was done.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and good service at a fair price means I’m coming back here the next time I have car troubles!

The fact that Ifuku is rated on this site shows how much visibility this auto shop has, and it’s really a testament to how well they can get the job done and the trust they’ve built with their customers.
My radiator was spewing green stuff for about 2 days before I decided to do something about it — I’m not exactly a car expert. I tried that silver liquid you can put in your radiator to plug the holes (well, in this case, a crack) in your radiator to no avail. So I got a quote from Sears, it came out about $ 450-​ish. I called several places, and they were all around there.
Ifuku, was able to refurbish a Honda CRV radiator they had and sell it to me for about $ 125. Throw in labor, installation, and it came o ut to a total of just over $ 300.00!
It works like a charm, too.
