Great place for small fur buddies! Especially white carpet so so sliding nor slipping:)). Grooming excellent! Friendly staff!

Have taken my humanimal Sumiko to Johnny’s twice for bath n haircut. Staff are very professional, caring n friendly. Their work is outstanding. Recommend Johnny’s to everyone.

We adopted our little Roxy from some very peculiar people late last year, who we suspect made her into a very peculiar dog. She spent the first week hiding under the couch, growling fiercely at any feet that dared breach within her self-​designated seven feet of safe space. She was untrusting and anxious, cranky and spiteful, and would bite us if we attempted to improve her non-​existent personal hygiene in any way. I took her to a groomer for a nail trim and she (the dog, not the groomer) was angry at me for several days.
We refer to her as the crack-​puppy.
She now seems to love us in her way with the exception of my youngest daughter, who she hates with all of her heart. If I were a six-​pound dog I wouldn’t care much for my youngest, either.
To be honest, when I first laid eyes on Roxy I thought «This is an ugly dog».
Then as her hair grew out, her appearance did not improve at all but instead grew closer to that of a rabid gremlin crossed with an aged Chinese scholar.
Though improving in many aspects and tolerating occasional baths in a shivery-​freaked-​out-​bug-​eyed way, she continued to violently rage at hygienic efforts. There would NOT be any tooth brushing. There would NOT be any hair snipping. There would NOT be any clipping of the nails lest we accidentally make her NOT look homeless.
Difficult creature.
So finally I buckled and decided my mangy, Bill the Cat dog required a full treatment at the groomers.
Unilocal pointed me to Johnny’s House. Actually, Unilocal pointed me towards several places but Johnny’s House is the only business that answered the phone. AND not only did they answer the phone, but they also scheduled Roxy for the next morning. Win.
They were very nice, took my information and said they would call when she was done.
When I returned to pick Roxy up I was AMAZED. They turned my little Quasimodo of a dog into something… cute? Yes, cute. She was cute. All trimmed and cute and looking like a normal dog. They also said she did not try to bite them once, which makes me believe they have magical powers. Or are really good with dogs. Same thing.
I will absolutely be returning. Many times over.

I just so happen to be driving by last week and called to see if they could take 3 of my dogs at one time. Luckily they said yes. I’m so happy with the results of my dogs grooming and hair cut. They came back very happy and clean. The nails were cut very good and my dogs didn’t seem distressed in any way. Also, the owner sent me an email with pictures of an Easter theme of my doggies after their baths. Super cute and sweet! I would definitely recommend others to try this place.

Love taking my dog here since the staff is so friendly and don’t mind keeping him there. They also do a good job cutting his fur, but the reason why this is a 3 star review is because after I took my dog home from Johnny’s and gave him a bath, I saw bruises on him. I usually just drop him off and come back to pick him up when I can, so I’m not around to watch what they do to my dog. Wish I knew how he got the bruises.

Yukiko is really great. She did a wonderful job of cutting down my little Yorkie ‘Kika’… gave her a real nice Schnauzer cut, exactly how I wanted it. I highly recommend this Grooming Shop.

Johnny’s House is the best. Our Bear always looks like a star when he is groomed!

Rocco and Bella received their grooming service yesterday and they looked absolutely beautiful! We are very happy with Johnnys salon. They are extremely nice and very good with the pups!

Lovely place they do such a great job. My dog was so happy when I picked her up she was happy to hang out with the other dogs. Her hair cut came out great. I would deff recommend this place.

We took our Chinese Crested to Johnny’s while on an extended vacation in Hawaii so that we could do a little dog-​free sightseeing and dining. Winnie had never been to daycare before but they noticed how sensitive she is an took extra care with her, separating her from the very active daycare room so she could hang with people and just a few dogs. When we picked her up she was always happy and relaxed. We also had her groomed and they did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Johnny’s House!

I always forget to check in on Unilocal when I visit since I’m usually focused on checking in my little fur baby with their staff. I’ve been using Johnny’s House for cage free boarding of my 5lb Yorkshire Terrier when I go on trips where he can’t join us, which is 1 – 3 times per year. I’m happy that they bring the dogs home every night, so they’re loved and looked after, not sitting in a kennel, forgotten about. They request documentation of all vaccinations so bring a copy of your dog’s treatments including canine bordetella.
The daily boarding fee is about $ 35.00 plus tax. They are very gentle and caring when handling him, which I appreciate. When I pick him up, he’s happy and hasn’t lost any weight, so I know that he’s been eating & cared for. If you have your dog groomed, day care is free for that day, which was suggested for his most recent stay, and I accepted. When I picked him up, he was beautifully groomed, had nicely trimmed nails and was happily playing with the other dogs in the day care room.
For haircuts you should specify the style or length for the hair to be cut or your pup may have a slightly unexpected haircut, unless you give them full free artistic will. I specified to keep his beard & just trim his face & body hair & his cut was as expected. I liked the cut & will be keeping this style for a while.

Icarus my Pom, is well taken care of, groomed and always gets great photos taken here. They do an excellent job specializing in the round bear-​cuts for poodles and Pomeranians. Friendly staff as well!

Everyone is extremely nice and polite. My Cairn Terrier is always treated very well and looks so pretty when I pick her up. I love the photo they send me after every appointment.

We hate to leave our dog when we go on trips, but we feel better knowing that she will be well taken care of at johnny’s House. The staff is friendly well organized, and caring. The facilities are clean and attractive. They treat the dogs like their own. At night the dogs go home with the staff and can sleep with them instead of in a cage. They are also careful to check on medical records to be sure the dogs are healthy.
I highly recommend Johnny’s House for grooming and boarding.

I highly recommend this place! This is my dog’s first hair cut here and i must say, I’m impressed! Very good costumer service. The place is clean and interesting. They have chairs for you to wait on, a room for dog sitting, ect.

This place is awesome. They are friendly, knowledgable and affordable. I was looking for a new groomer now that I moved to town and I found Johnny’s on Unilocal.The reviews were good so I gave it a shot. It was a really good experience. They were finished quicker than expected and immediately gave me a call to let me know I could pick my dog up. There is plenty of street parking. The best part was an unexpected thank you note in my email box with a picture of my dog. We will definitely go back.

These folks are awesome. Always greeted politely when we come in and when my dog is done we get a prompt call that he is ready. Not sure how they do it but they always manage to get my dogs hair just right too.
I appreciate how clean their new location is and easier to park and drop off than before.
My dog is an 11lb maltipoo with that weird curly hair (not fur), and not easy to cut (at least not when we tried.

Scheduled a haircut appointment for four (4) English Cocker Spaniels, and each time they look wonderful. Good news: They offer a first time customer discount per dog! Some places may offer a one time customer discount for the owner. However, Johnny’s House Dog Salon does right by offering a discount per pet.

Tried this place for the first time today and I loved it! I called last minute and they were able to take my choco pom Sebastian on the same day. My poor baby was one big round ball of fur. He came out with a nice shorter cut that made him look like a teddy bear! The Japanese lady working at the front is so polite and explained services and everything, and because it was my first time here i received 10% off! $ 50 for a dog grooming is a great deal to me, especially with my Sebastian so happy and handsome. Great customer service and I love his new do!

Beori loves Johnny’s House!
Johnny’s House is the best fit for my dog, Beori. They’re a dog groomer and dog day care for smaller breed dogs. We were originally introduced to Johnny’s House from a friends recommendation for grooming. Not satisfied with other groomers, I eventually taught myself how to groom Beori. I became quite good at cutting her hair but I was never great. I was cautiously optimistic when my friend recommended Johnny’s House (now that I have my new found skill of dog grooming) but I am so glad i tried them out! Her cuts are always perfect. I told them some of my wants but I let them decide on ultimately how it should come out. After all, they’re the artists. We’re now on our fifth hair cut from Johnny’s House and we plan to continue to patronize their business
They’re also a doggie day care. They are so accommodating with my hectic schedule and baby sitting Beori on very short notice.
The icing on the cake is that they’re very reasonable in price and they always very welcoming every time we step foot in their door.
