Awesome! Can’t wait between appointments! My ‘babies’ are a 12 y/​o Lahsa Alpso and a 6 y/​o Basset mix, they get wonderful grooming and are relaxed and playing on my return. I haven’t had trouble finding parallel parking nearby.

I left a voice message for an appointment for my Am. Cocker Spaniel, but no one ever called me back.

They do not take large breed for boarding although their web site says they do.
TIKI canned dog food is one of my favorites. Their price is totally over priced, 30% less at a store in Kaneohe that I use.
If you are purchasing anything, you may better shop around.

After my first grooming experience I was reluctant to try another place. Then I heard about Fur Love from my hair stylist. She did such a great job on my fizzy locks that I figured her standards for her pomeranian must be equally high.
We have a medium sized Maltipoo (Maltese-​Poodle) 1 year old puppy. His coat hair is more similar to the maltese than the curly locks you find on a poodle. It costs about $ 70 – 75 plus tip for a full groom– shampoo, haircut, nails, ears, and glands.
When we made our appointment, we mentioned that our puppy might be hesitant at first so they recommended that we leave Snickers with them for 2 hours. They’ll only handle Snickers if he’s feeling comfortable and when he’s anxious he’ll be able to play and relax with the other dogs until he’s ready again. (Which is GREAT! This is like 2 hours of «free» day care)
When I walked into the shop, I saw that these people are true to their word. There were a few dogs mid-​groom waiting for their turn. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. The groomers (seems to be a family run business) were also equally pleasant.
When we returned, I couldn’t be happier. Snickers was calm and relaxed. He looked adorable! His coat was soft and his nails were filed down nicely so they weren’t sharp at all. And the best part, over the next month, his coat grew evenly and maintained its nice shape.
The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that I had to parallel park on Young St. :) :)
So needless to say, I’ll definitely be back to Fur Love.

Once i discovered Fur Love, there was no turning back. This is the only place i will take my yorkie for grooming. I even left him there for day care once and when i went to pick him up, he looked like he didn’t want to go home! I love the fact that it’s cage-​free and all the dogs can play together, it makes the experience fun instead of stressful and scary.
The staff is so friendly and welcoming to both you and your dog, it immediately puts you at ease. I know my dog is in good hands when he’s there, and he comes home looking like a little puppy again!

The experiences I had with Fur Love have been beyond disappointing. I first decided to try Fur Love after reading many positive, over-​the-​top positive reviews from Unilocalers. I was excited to have a cage-​free spot for my sweet Oscarita Love Dog, a 14 year-​old beagle and I took him to daycare to see how he would do many weeks ago. Although it took awhile to get him checked in, when I picked him up he was asleep, a happy camper. Things are looking very promising for this relationship I thought. GREAT! And then things went South very quickly. Three reservations to board Oscar turned into three cancellations or phone calls back to say «oh sorry, we don’t have any spots for older dogs». Mind you, this is after I made the reservation, checking and verifying the dates each and every time with the employee). BUT the KICKER folks, was making a reservation over a week in advance for Oscar to stay at Furlove over Memorial Day weekend (you know the weekend, the long one, the relax and enjoy one). This was their last shot. I specifically asked over and over again «are you sure you have room for these dates, over this weekend, for Oscar, the older beagle?» «oh yes, yes, this friday and wednesday pick up, yes, yes no problem».
Great! I got up early Friday morning, worked out, came home to pack for my staycation, loaded up Oscar prior to my hair appointment, get to Furlove and after himhawing around for several minutes, finally someone comes out to tell me that they had called me to cancel the reservation!!! WHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTT??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Unbelievable, I let them know what I thought of their poor business practices, customer service absent business practices, not to mention that no one called me, (you know on Iphones we can check things like that real easy) and good riddance!!!
Thank God I managed to board Oscar at his vets, who were only too happy to accomodate this ridiculousness and I went three shades lighter at the salon. Fur Love will definitely not be seeing any of my Oscarita Love Dog’s fur no’ mo!!!

I held off reviewing Fur Love for fear that they’d get too busy with too many excellent ratings. But yes, I have to bring it out — IT IS the place to take your beloved doggies for grooming or boarding. The couple who does all the work are like the doggie whisperers of this business. There is something very deep and pure about how they connect with the doggies when they handle them. I’ve never seen my edgy dog calm down immediately in their presence. Their grooming work is unparalleled in this town — with the quality and the overall professional demeanor they provide.

The best in town. I will never take my dogs anywhere else but to FurLove.

I didn’t realize how much I would miss this grooming salon until I moved away. The 2 groomers here are always so professional and gave my shih-​tzu the best cut she has ever had. She comes out looking like a show dog EVERY TIME. Well of course! That’s because the owner competed professionally in the past so this is not some place where amateurs hire other amateurs to cut your dog. Although prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, it is so worth it to find a place that doesn’t crate my dog and uses scissors most of the time to cut her instead of buzzing her. Their hard work definitely shows in how even and blended her coat is. They do an excellent «teddy bear» cut. They are so good that my husband was joking about flying back to Honolulu just to have them cut our dog!

I found this groomer on Unilocal.Because of the many positive comments I decided to take my 6 month old Cocker Spaniel here for her first grooming. As a first time dog owner, I have become very attached to my puppy. I will admit that it was hard to leave here there just because I could tell she did not want to stay there. However, the owner seem like he understood dogs very well. Reading some books on Cocker Spaniel’s temperaments, they will be loyal to their owners but are shy around others and don’t trust easily. The owner explained how he likes to take his time with Cocker Spaniels and not to rush them. His understanding of dogs (Cocker Spaniels in particular) gave me confidence in choosing Fur Love.
It is hard to find, I passed it a couple of times. If you are coming from Isenburg it is a little past Longs on the left hand side.

Stopped by here Sunday morning at 9 as a walk in to get Pickles’ nails trimmed. The owner was very welcoming and took her right away. Pickles hates getting her nails done, but he was very gentle and patient with her, even when she was trying to escape. He used a grinder instead of the clipper like we expected, so her nails we trimmed and smooth (and didn’t scratch up my legs on the drive home). Definitely worth the $ 10. Most places charge that for just the clipper and then extra for the grinder.

Just took my babies, Kuri-​chan and Nori-​chan back to see Kosei and Yukiko. I remember whenever I took Kuri and Nori to the groomers they would start shaking once we got there, but not with Kosei and Yukiko.
At Fur Love, you can tell they love the animals as much as you do — in their cage free environment, the dogs roam around freely and are able to fraternize with one another. It’s like a grooming with a social bonus!
I love taking my babies to them as they always come back looking spiffier than ever!!!

This is the only place I would take my baby to get groomed. He gets groomed by Kosei and his wife every month and he loves it. The best part of Fur Love is that they don’t put your baby into tight kennels. Also the price is very reasonable.
They also do daycare at the store and sleepovers at their house if you need to go on a trip.

Since my puppy’s a bit on the hyper side and I’ve never left her alone away from home, I was worried to take her to her first grooming appointment. Called Fur Love only to have to cancel last minute since she got sick hours before her appointment. They were gracious and understanding which was a relief since I already had my mind set on taking her there after reading the good reviews on Unilocal.
I rescheduled for the next week and when I dropped her off, it was such a great sight to see all the other dogs playing and having a great time. After explaining how I wanted to have her cut, I nervously left and was told that it would take about 2 hours. They called well before the 2 hours. When I arrived, she was still on the grooming table getting the final touches. It was such a treat to see her «in action» being handled so gently by the older gentleman. He just had a way with her, she was so good and still, I couldn’t believe my eyes! I asked if he could cut the hair around her face a bit closer which he did. He also took the time and showed me how to brush her and handle her.
Since she smelled wonderful, I bought all the product they used on her. I expected higher prices since they were a salon but they were so reasonable. They also give discounts for puppy grooming according to age (up to 6 months old) so definitely start taking your puppy there to get her/​him accustomed to it.

I am about to write on of my rare 5 star reviews… They come few and far in between, but Fur Love is worth of it.
I’ve used Fur Love on several occasions to have my dog boarded while I traveled and for grooming and have been nothing but impressed. It’s cage free facility is conveniently located, the staff incredibly wonderful, and the prices very reasonable. I definitely have found where I’ll be taking my dog for grooming and boarding!
Fur Love isn’t very large, but it is definitely very cozy and comfortable. They are cage free so the dogs are free to run about, unless they are becoming problem-​some. They take the dogs that are boarding home at night and be sure to understand your dog so that they can take care of them.
The staff are wonderful and despite a minor language barrier, they are incredibly pleasant and accommodating. Prices are pretty reasonable and are listed on their website. The location isn’t on the main streets, but right off Young Street is is convenient to the freeways and the city. Parking is usually quick and simple right off the street in front of the store.
If you ever need to board your dog or get them groomed, Fur Love is definitely the place to go!

Cage-​free! We walked in all all these adorable dogs are wandering around. They are grooming in plain sight. It seems like a family business and everyone was super friendly. I loved when we came back in 2 hours they were done and we asked if he could get Oliver’s face trimmed closer and he did it right in front of us, with such gentleness and care, all the while saying «Oliver, dai-​jo-​bu.» Oliver looks and smells great. $ 68 for our guy is a great price and we are definitely going back in December before we take Christmas pictures!

Being the lazy mommy I am, I decided to call around to see if he could get groomed. Fur Love was the only place that would take him that same day. I called at 11 whining that if they couldn’t take him I’d have to wash him on my own… =(
After a second he agreed to take my doggie in at 1:30. He said the process usually takes two hours but because they are squeezing him in it might be 2.5 hours. Ok, no prob. You can have him longer if you want… he’s naughty!!! Haha…
Once I got there I explained how I wanted him cut. Communicating was a little difficult, but they understood what I wanted. I went home and they called two hours later, saying he was ready.
When I picked him up he was a new little boy! So fresh and so clean!!! I also loved that they didn’t cage him. He was smiling and walking around their (gated off) grooming area. When we first dropped him off he was scared and shaking, and when we got him he was completely comfortable and 100% happy.
In the past I’ve taken him to groomers that have caged him and he would latch onto me when I picked him up… Not the case here. So pleased!!!

Thank goodness for Unilocal,or I would have never found out about these great people and their incredible dog grooming skills.
I’m such a late minute person and when I called around to Toby’s usual groomers for appointments within the week, I of course came back empty handed. A quick Unilocal search later, I was on the phone with Fur Love making an appointment for the very next morning! On top of that, they were really understanding when I called 10 minutes before the appointment letting them know I’d be showing up 20 minutes late.
When I dropped my baby off, I basically said I wanted to shave him as the shedding had become too much. They threw in a few suggestions, I just said yes and whatever you believe is best. Believe me, they really do know what’s best. Toby looked like an innocent puppy again! They do a great job around the face, choosing to leave the lashes long and his face hair rounded– I believe it’s referred to as a Teddy Bear cut at some places.
My Toby is definitely going back.
