Our last experience with JetStar was very positive. I was just my wife and I, however, and we were travelling business class. This time, we were traveling coach, with a teenager and 4 year old twins. Given that, we felt that this experience would warrant an update to our last review. First of all, we knew going in to the flight that JetStar was a budget airline — no frills and everything is a la carte. Want a pillow? $. Want a blanket? $$ Want an entertainment unit? $$$. Want food? $$$$!!!(Really? $ 5 for Cup Noodles? No thank you, we brought our own food). Other than this, the seats were fairly roomy(for coach seats) and the flight attendants were pleasant. Anyway, if you go with realistic expectations regarding service, you’ll be fine. If you go expecting Emirates-type service, then you’ll definitely be disappointed. To make a long story short: JetStar got us(and our bags) to our destination in one piece and on time and that’s what we paid for
