i know a few kumus, makaainanas and kaua and tittas(tomboy) & titas(pnai aunty) just to keep the spectrum open and well rounded in the arts. n i wouldn’t consider this a low blow against my bradda because im sure u heard a lot worse, so we were there 1 morning having acai bowls or coffee i forget and we’re sitting at 1 of the tables, and they send the inventory worker from the corporate office i’m assuming and she’s local asian girl maybe senior basketball d1, and she’s going through the isles taking inventory of the shelves, and when gets to the shelves behind the table at where we’re sitting, i move my chair to get out of the way so she can take inventory. n jk is not paying attention, so she said try move or something to the effect. n jk doesn’t want to move for his own reasons. n she go try move so she can count the inventory. jk jaw jus wen drop open, and i swear it look like he was gonna say«no she didn’t» *neck twist pssh pssh. i mean, when im around him, he’s u kno grumpy type. but after he got punked by tomboy, i had to regulate her and be like, naa. u can’t talk to my bro like that. thats hella disrespect. so i was shouting and had to back her into the isle and tell her turn around and go the other way. lol. huh? jon remember?

First and foremost my rating is based solely on the beverages I tried which does not include any coffee related items! I’m new to town, heard about Acai bowls and heard this was the place to go, weird I know a coffee place but whatever, I tried it. Negative, not the place to go for one. Served in a cute ceramic, soup bowl like mug it was loaded with way too much honey, not enough acai mixture and lack of granola. The flavor of the acai mixture itself was decent, but the ratio of everything else in it made it just meh. If you enjoy green tea, the Matcha green tea latte is a must! PS. They charge extra for soy milk. Plenty of seating inside the store. There is merchandise available to purchase which is fun to browse while waiting for your order. You can sample the different sea salts they have!

My favorite Acai bowl! And I’ve tried MANY. No ones particularly friendly but they always ask how many spoons and that’s a nice touch; I appreciate not having to ask for one more. I had a soy latte once, and that was good too, but I mainly come for the Acai bowl. For some reason I always end up here around 1:00 or 1:30 and there’s always a hula show at the center stage so it’s really loud. I don’t like it but I guess you could think of it as entertainment.

I’m obsessed with matcha. I go around trying all the matcha lattes that I can find and I have to say that so far, Island Vintage Coffee has the best! I love it frozen with whipped cream on top.

Best acai bowl I have ever had! Great small breakfast. I also got the frozen hot chocolate which was out of this world. Very flavorful!

Love this place! If you’re looking for a good acai bowl at Ala Moana, definitely give this place a try! Best acai bowl in the mall! I always come here during break or before work. You can phone order so it makes it convenient, especially if you’re limited with time. The acai bowls are a very good size and it does keep you full. Unlike many other places I’ve been to, they add honey on with no charge unless you ask for extra. They also automatically have bananas, strawberries, and blueberries as toppings. It’s pretty affordable too, considering the size. The service here is good too! It is a coffee shop so they have coffees, teas, smoothies, and more!

Loved his place. I think I made daily visits from their lattes to their fruit platter… AMAZING! Everyone must visit. I ended up buying their coffee beans before leaving. Just be prepared to wait. Their is usually a long line, especially in the am. Food orders takes about 10 – 15 minutes but on the long side 20min. Love this place!

Order at the cash register and grab a seat. Your order will be brought out to you. The workers here are very nice. I got my usual hot island latte(macadamia nut with a hint of coconut), less sweet. There’s a very subtle coconut taste. I finally tried the acai bowl($ 10) which comes in a large mug with blueberries, bananas, strawberries, granola and honey drizzle on top. I’ve had other acai bowls during my stay here and the bananas are amazing! The bananas are sweet and creamier than bananas in the U.S. Try it and let me know if I’m crazy. It can get crowded and seating is kind of limited, which is one downside but a lot of people just get their coffee to go.

This is long overdue after many trips to this little coffee shop. The iced latte is always great and very aromatic. However, the thing that keeps me coming back is their acai bowl. Oh my gosh, I’m about to walk down to the mall just to get one! The acai itself is so good! It really differs from other acai that has that sort of red/purple color. This acai is a deep dark blue/purple color and tastes heavenly. I don’t know what their blend is, but it tastes so good and not sour at all! The granola is also crunchy, light and plentiful. The bananas are always ripe, plenty of blueberries, and always a beautifully cut strawberry to top it off. What I really appreciate is the blueberries! Some other places will give you 3 blueberries as a garnish… *cough/not trying to throw shade at another joint in the mall/cough* Although the price is a little bit higher, about $ 10.00 per bowl, it’s definitely sharable between two friends! :)

Love the Acai Bowl here! Seriously… I’m not an Acai bowl person, but I’ll eat it here and only here. Whyyy didn’t I try it here sooner! Everything tastes so fresh and I think all, if not most, of the ingredients is organic. Not to mention the huge soup size mug they serve it in is so cute! My go to lunch when I don’t want anything heavy. This thing feeds 2 people. At least I can’t finish the whole thing by myself. Yummm… Crave this practically daily.

Island Vintage is located on the first floor of Ala Moana Shopping Center, near the stage, right next to ABC Store. I really like their Haleiwa iced tea, which is similar to Pacific Tea Café’s drinks, before it closed a few years ago :(It is simply iced black tea, with pineapple juice, and a pineapple sorbet. It’s definitely a bit pricey — coming out to over $ 6 after tax. Taste-wise, it’s pretty good. Their sorbet is a little creamy-almost, as compared to the sorbet I used to get in my drink at Pacific Tea Café… But it doesn’t melt as quickly as PTC’s sorbet did. They also don’t give as much pineapple as PTC did. They only give you a small wedge of pineapple. If you decide to try the Haleiwa iced tea, I strongly suggest asking for less ice or maybe no-ice because the sorbet is great for keeping your drink cool. Unless you’re one of those people who eat the sorbet right away. I like to let my sorbet melt and combine with the tea so the abundance of ice they gave me actually kept my sorbet and tea from mixing together. Unfortunately I didn’t think to ask for less ice until after I saw my drink had already been made. I swear you not. When I finished my tea 10 minutes later(I drink too fast :(), the cup was still over half-full with ice. If you’re not a pineapple fan, I also think their Tropical Sensation is quite good as well. This is iced tea with guava, with mixed berries on top. My drink had about 5 blueberries and 1 ½ strawberries floating at the top. And again to my dismay, I forgot to ask for less ice. Arghhhhh lol. This was slightly cheaper than the Haleiwa but not by much. The large was $ 5.35. Oh. Wait. What? You want to know about the coffee? Island Vintage is a coffee shop? I’m sorry. I have never even thought of getting coffee here lol… This place is a tea-shop/acai place to me .___. Can you tell I love my teas? :p Both the teas were so yummy. Sweet but not too sweet. But sooooo expensive D: The acai bowl here was also quite good… But OMG! So sweet! And again very expensive… The hot chocolate, however was pretty average in pricing… If you like hot chocolate.

Last year I attempted to try all the acai bowls on Oahu. I’m sure I missed some, but I got to try a bunch. The bowl at Island Vintage won my third place vote(my sister wanted it to be higher, but I have other favorites). The granola has a nice combination of crunchy/crispy. The honey is thick and sweet. The other toppings include bananas, strawberries and blueberries. The acai is sweet with a tart finish. Overall not a bad bowl. Island Vintage also has great coffee and Hawaiian snacks to buy for gifts. FYI– the peanut butter is two dollars cheaper here than on the north shore.

I love Island Vintage! If I could drive to Kapolei, Waikiki or Ala Moana every day for my daily coffee I would! I love their Vintage Kona Mocha, it’s a treat for everyone. The way it is made is always consistent — throughout ever Island Vintage location I go to. I think they need to open up more locations preferably in Ewa Beach or Pearl City :) close to comfort for me. Overall, if you’re visiting or haven’t tried their coffee yet, go and get some! You won’t be disappointed.

Came here to get some hot coffee on a hot beautiful day. Read about it on Unilocal.I’ve been trying to find a good coffee place in Hawaii. But haven’t found one. Still looking for one. Service is great. Place is clean and well stocked.

Living in Hawaii, there are obviously hundreds of different restaurants and café’s that serve acai bowls. Being an acai bowl fanatic, trust me when I say I’ve tried every single place on this island but there is no acai bowl /no café that compares to Island Vintage acai bowls. Personally I’ve never tried their coffee or any other drink they serve but their acai bowls are literally to die for. First of all, THEYAREHUGE. Most acai places sell their bowls for about $ 10, and same at Island V., it’s $ 10 but the size is twice the size than any other acai bowl(for the same price!). The texture of the acai is like ice cream — not too sour, very sweet, smooth and delicious. I’ve been going to this place for years to get my acai fix before work or just on the weekends and I can never get sick of it! This is the #1 place to go for acai bowls. Also, if you work in the mall(Ala Moana Center), they give you mall discount so be sure to tell them you work in the mall! Saves you about a dollar :)

Having such a good experience at the Kalakaua Avenue location close by, I saw another location at the Ala Moana Shopping Center and stopped by for their delicious drinks. Pros Vintage Kona Mocha: This blended coffee beverage comes with macadamia nut and coconut flavors along with coffee bean bits. Even though it was bit too sweet for my liking, it was still a great alternative to Starbucks frappuccinos. Service: The workers here were more welcoming that the Kalakaua Avenue location and were even helpful and took the time to explain their drinks. Cons Food: The food options are limited at this location and I saw no servings of their taro bagels.

My friends and I love coming to Island Vintage Coffee on the regular… I usually get the Tropical Sensation iced tea(which I got today) or the Frozen Vintage Kona Mocha. I’m pretty much over Starbucks now and don’t really care about my gold member status anymore. I highly recommend the two items I mentioned above or the Lava Mocha. Just don’t get the Acai bowls here because I don’t think it’s worth the money!

Tasty coffee on the first floor of Ala Moana, near the center stage. Especially if you want something a little more local then the other big chain coffee place that starts with a ‘S’. Their acai bowl was very delicious and I’d definitely order it again. They also have a few tables if you want to sit and sip and enjoy your coffee and/or food.

*Acai Bowl* the best granola here!!! I really loved the Acai bowl here but I think the organic granola they used had a lot to do with it. It’s very yummy! I might have to get me a bag of it before I fly back to Cali~!! They make their own. Yes, that is it. Mom rates the coffee here 5 stars. Wow lol. *Acai bowl is $ 8.75+tax. Kinda pricey but it’s the mall. This location is small. The Waikiki location serves food as well. But I don’t think this location does. Just pastries. That was my review lol. Thanks for reading!!! :) ~*kenzie*~

One of my favorite place to get an acai bowl. Their fruits are freshly made, the acai blend, the honey, and the granola is delish! Their presentation is always on point and quality is good. I’ve never really sat down in this coffee shop so I always had my acai bowl to go and even in the take out container it’s made pretty. It’s about $ 10, a bit pricey but so good and worth it. I’ve tried a few of their coffee selection. I love local coffee flavors so it’s a good place to go if you want anything that originated from Hawaii such as their Macadamia Nut Kona Coffee. It’s good place to just sit and make a quick stop to grab a coffee or a bite to eat while shopping in Ala Moana Center. I’ve always had good service here and its a popular spot for the tourists here.
