We are constantly rotating our extra virgin olive oils to ensure we have the freshest olive oils available in the U.S. Because in the olive oil world, the fresher the better, no question. You simply cannot find this fresh of extra virgin olive oil unless you are pressing olives yourself. We also carry a variety of flavored olive oils that turn any dish into an extraordinary dish AND still carry the health benefits of fresh EVOO!

We only carry authentic balsamic vinegars. Much like champagne needs to come from Champagne, France, true balsamic vinegar needs to be produced in Modena or Reggio Emilia, Italy, and we have varieties that will blow your culinary mind!

Ok now I know why the cooking shows rave about EVOO. Haha. This is so different from the jug you buy at Costco!
I received the garlic infused oil and apple balsamic vinegar for Mother’s Day. I went through the oil in less than a month and had to go buy another one.
The cashier was so friendly and helpful when I went in.
I will definitely be back-​I even grabbed some stuff for a gift going on the cashiers recommendations. They offer samples too!

Just purchased a bottle of white truffle oil and I can’t wait to use it! Poached eggs on toast, potatoes, popcorn work Parmesan. Ohh yes!
I had these a while ago so not sure if they have it now, but the rosemary and garlic oils are also delicious!

This place has such a wide array of oils, balsamic vinegars and salts that’s sure to tickle your palette no matter your flavor profile.
They have nut infused oils. My personal favorites are the macadamia nut and roasted sesame. I use these to prepare a homemade mac nut crusted mahimahi and beef broccoli or korean style cabbage/​broccoli.
They also have specialty oils that cost more, but worth every penny. My personal favorite in this category is the black truffle. I do a light drizzle at home on ribeye steaks and french fries to try and replicate food from Morton’s Steakhouse.
Other favorites of mine include: herbs de provence (makes steaks taste like prime rib), tuscan herb (pairs well with toasted breads as it makes it taste like a bruschetta), and my husband’s pick is the chipotle (use sparingly to add a nice heat to your dish).
If none of these ones that I’ve mentioned piqued your interest, then they also have fruit infused oils, flower infused oils, and even wildly unique oils infused with chocolate or alcohol, such as rum.
Let’s not forget that there’s also balsamic vinegars and salts here too! The staff encourages you to try it out before buying and actually have free pieces of bread and cups of water. So stop by and sample it all!

Absolutely outstanding! My family and I visited this place out of accident as we had been walking through the ward village shops headed to Dave and busters. They have samples of both olive oil and balsamic vinegars, some of the best olive oils and vinegars I have ever tasted. Also the male cashier was very welcoming and had excellent customer service. My favorites are the Kalamata and black truffle oils and the strawberry or blueberry infused vinaigrette. Will definitely be back!

As I am beginning to cook more and more at home, I have been using various olive oils to enhance the taste of my food. I stumbled upon Island Olive Oil Company while waiting for a table at the nearby Goma Tei at Ward Centre. I love their huge assortment of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They provide little cups and small pieces of bread for you to sample each one. The bottles come in three different sizes: 200ml, 375ml, and 750ml. They also sell sample/​gift 60 ml sizes. Aside from olive oils and balsamic vinegars, the store also has other products such as sea salts, seasoning rubs, flavored sugars, jams, and soaps. Don’t forget to get a stamp card; buy 10 bottles, get a 200ml bottle free! There’s a 10% kamaaina discount.

This was my first time in a store like this. They had different flavors of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was a cute set up. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I had been there before. When I told her no, she explained how it all works. I really liked this store and being able to taste the various flavors. They also had cute little spouts that make the bottles easier to pour. I will definitely be back to buy a bottle for the house. They also had sea salts, gift bottles to give, and soaps.

This place I found on accident but it’s so cool. Everything in there you can try and it’s so delicious. Some of the workers seem a little awkward but their suggestions were really good. I ended up purchasing a gift pack so I could take home a little of this and a little of that.

I love this place as much as you can really truly love infused olive oils! I first had Island Olive oil at a Unilocal Helps event over a year ago. I kept meaning to go in and try out some of the other flavors, but never did. Way to let that coupon I had go to waste…
So I’m at BB&B the other day and I’m looking for a Christmas gift for a White Elephant gift exchage. I found some As Seen On TV thing, but then as I was leaving the mall I saw Island Olive Oil. I went in and immediatly went to the spicy section. There was a chili pepper infused oil that I LOVED. I bought that bottle to give as another gift and one for myself.
The sales guy was SUPER nice and really helpful and friendly. He gave us a 10% discount on our bottles too. YAY!
As someone who is always getting a new recipe to try off of Pinterest, I love that I can come here and get some oils to use with various cuisines. These oils are also great for just dipping.
The layout is clean and easy to navigate, so you really won’t feel overwhelmed with all the different oils you can try. If they added a wine bar in here like I’ve seen other infused oil places do, I’d be here all the time.

Glad I decided to go shopping on Small Business Saturday. Just browsing around Ward and passed by here.
If this place were a salad it would start off with a solid base, with a nice layout and wide variety of olive oils and balsamics to sample. But what will make me come back to this salad bowl to was the customer service I received from the two people working there that morning. These people know their olive oils and made themselves readily available to answer any questions I had. They allowed me to try out a few of the oils, demonstrated a great way to mix the oils and balsamic vinegars, and even allowed me to try their pesto spread. What made this experience a perfect mix was their care and and exceptional presentation in wrapping my gift of gastronomic delight. It was the first time I saw someone use a blow dryer on cellophane packaging and the end result was awesome! She really took care of my purchase and let me know that all associates there were trained to make all gifts look great! You get a stamp card at the end for returning customers. After serving up a perfect up the perfect blend of customer service, I know I’ll be coming back for second helpings.

Although it was my first time to the olive oil company, it was nice to taste test the different olive oils until the lady was rude. My friend was talking to me and I don’t think she needed to listen to our conversation and I felt like I did not belong in the establishment. Now I don’t know if I can return to the place again.

If you love to cook, you will love this store. There is olive oil and balsamic vinegar in almost every square inch of this shop. The guy working the counter and circling the store was very nice and energetic, as he interacted positively with every customer that came through the doors. The store was clean and designed well to have customers flow through the aisles as they sample the oil and vinegar offerings.
As for the olive oil and vinegar themselves; if there is a flavor that you think would be good as an olive oil, this place has it! There are spicy flavors, savory flavors, sweet flavors, and then there are all of these flavors again in the form of balsamic vinegars. The best part is customers get to try all of the oils if they choose too. There are sampling bottles and cups of every flavor as well as bread if you are into that. The prices are reasonable and the bottles come in three main sizes and prices which are listed on the walls of the store.
Overall, this store is great for someone who enjoys cooking. These oils will add a kick to any meal you put them in. If you are into bread dipped in balsamic and oil, this place is great for that as well. You can spice up any bread offering at home with any of the unique flavors they offer. My only complaint would be about the customers. I didn’t like the people who seemed to make the store their lunch. They are samples, not meals. I will definitely be back when my current stock of oils runs out!

OK, I’ll share.
Currently the only place to get quality, extra virgin olive oil in Hawaii. What you say? I buy EVOO from XXX, it’s from Tuscany. It’s $ 60 per 500ml. It’s good.
STOP.
Tuscan oils are the best in the world; yes. But…
Fresh olive oil starts off with a slightly bitter, peppery, green taste with floral overtones and a clean finish. As it ages and oxidizes, it looses its spicy taste and aroma with a buttery, almost greasy mouth feel. Does it mean more than it’s pedigree? YES!!!
Freshness matters, The closer to the harvest date, the better the freshness. A year out, it’s a tenth as good. Two years, it perfumes your sink.
Finally this is a place that sells only the freshest oils as close to it’s harvest and crush date as possible. Just try them. Pour an ounce in the plastic specimen cup and enjoy the freshness.
Each oil is sold in 750 ml, $ 34.59, 375 ml, $ 24.50, and 200 ml, $ 16.50. Buy only what you can use in 30 days. The selection is small but very well chosen.
Seasoned oils are offered. Pass. It’s better to buy their flavored balsamic vinegar than the oil. Sweet, the vinegar pick up whatever flavor they are steeped with. (The espresso balsamic is delicious topped over vanilla ice cream).
A true gourmand? Do not pass on the Italian white truffle infused EVOO. Not the phony crap made in a perfume shop then solid to unsuspecting foodies. This is the real deal. A few drops on a pan seared, oven roasted halibut, a few drops in a mushroom mashed potato, a kiss on a dry aged steak. Heaven. Yes, it’s gonna cost: $ 12.95, 60 ml; $ 31.95, 200ml, $ 49.95 375ml; $ 94.95 750ml.
Flavored salts also offered.

Love the large selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars they have… i went in specifically looking for a particular olive oil. and they had it! one of the good things about this place is that you can do tastings of the different products, to see if it fits your needs.
The staff is very helpful and knowledgable about their products which makes it very easy to imagine yourself whipping up a gourmet meal… :o) the olive oils and vinegars do come in three different sizes, well actually four different sizes… which makes it really nice if you wanted to give one as a gift.

As someone who absolutely loves cooking at home and any aspiring home cook, this place is an absolute must if you are looking at stocking your shelves with good olive oil. Many people don’t realize how much of a difference a dish can be with a good olive oil compared to just your regular oil or even olive oil you find at a grocery store.
The beauty of the store is its selection and quality. You will be overwhelmed here easily as there are so many types of oils and vinaigrette. I highly recommend freely trying each oil out. They also carry a wide selection of salts and sugars, such as lilikoi sugar, to the side.
My current olive oil was purchased upon a recommendation from one of the employees. It was the Milanese Gremolata EVOO. I find it to be an excellent oil for regular use. The oil consisted of lemon zest, garlic, some mint, and parsley. My favorite use for it so far is using it in steamed salmon and marinating chicken. The subtle lemon zest gives food a nice touch. Adding lemon juice or zesting isn’t necessary when using this oil.
Staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. While the prices are high, consider buying larger bottles as they are of the best value. Just make sure that unless you will use the more «trivial oils» buy accordingly. My standard cooking EVOO’s will definitely be purchased in the 750ml size from now on.

Olive oils are often the base of any great dish. After all, its versatile and flavorful! However, not olive oil is the same and stopping by the Island Olive Oil Company clearly shows that. With a plethora of flavors and varieties, they have an incredible selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars.
Whatever flavor palate you are trying to achieve, stop by and peruse the selection of oils since they have everything from acidic to earthy, thin to thick. If you are still at a loss, just ask some of the staff and they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the task.
Prices are rather reasonable, however still more than the off the shelf brand you might get at your neighborhood grocery. However, you have to remember that this is quality stuff at work here. If the sticker shock hits you, perhaps try a smaller bottle and give it a try.
Believe me, once you try one or two, you’ll be hooked and back again.

After reading all the rave reviews on this place, I really wanted to see what was going on over at the Island Olive Oil Company. I wasn’t sure where they were located so I gave them a call to find out since I was already at Ward. A helpful and cheerful girl answered the phone and gave me very detailed directions. A few minutes later, I was there. And I was blown away with what I saw. These guys have a ton of amazing sounding varieties of olive oil. Being a newbie chef that uses olive oil almost exclusively when I cook, I was astonished at the different ideas that were popping into my head after reading all the different labels.
I noticed that almost every variety (or every variety) had a sampler that you could either pour into a small cup or drizzle on small pieces of bread for your tasting enjoyment. I noticed that they also offered different sized bottles so you would be able to purchase the perfect amount of oil for your home or your gift.
So why the three stars? In the 10 – 15 minutes I was there, I didn’t get any help AT ALL. I didn’t get greeted either. And there were four employees there at the time. One behind the cash register assisting a customer, one sitting on a stool filling bottles of oil, one walking back and forth along the row of bottles on the left side of the store (who actually said «excuse me» so she could by me, but said nothing else) and one more employee in back also fidgeting with bottles.
There was no one else in there. I can only imagine that the cheerful girl was the one assisting the only other customer in the store at the time. Just my luck, I guess.
I really wanted to like this place. It’s the only store of its kind that I’m aware of. And it’s a new business. I would think that they would jump on any and every chance to impress new customers to help spread the good word…

Yay! I’m so excited Oahu has one the these types of stores. I’ve been to several of these stores on the mainland and loved the concept. This store has a several varieties of extra virgin olive oils (mainly from Chile), flavored olive oils (garlic seemed the most popular as it was already sold out) and flavored balsamic vinegar (chocolate or espresso anyone?). Best part of the store is you can try before you buy. Always a plus especially since the medium size bottles run about $ 20. Will go back to do some Christmas shopping.
Oh just a suggestion if your one of those people that like lemon in their water try a splash of a flavored balsamic vinegar instead. Sounds weird but tastes pretty good, especially is you use soda water.

I REALLY REALLY like this place.
Oils and vinegars are kept in drums and tapped fresh when you order. You can choose what size bottle you want, the smallest being $ 13 for a decent sized bottle. For the quality, the prices are a steal! I challenge you to find olive oil as good as this anywhere on the island for these prices… do not accept this challenge because I will win.
I love sampling the different varieties of oils and vinegars. They have vinegars for EVERYTHING! Fruity balsamic vinegars for dessert, herby olive oils for marinades, salads… omg, this is my haven.
The store interior is classy, clean and the oils/​vinegars are well laid out and spacious enough to let people roam around and sample. There are sufficient amounts of sample cups laid out in different areas. There is bread for those that like to munch. The employee was knowledgeable about different flavors and combinations.
Thank you so much for opening. I feel like a void has been filled in my life.

OILS, BALSAMICS AND JAMS?! OH MY!
top notch everything… service was stellar, olive oils were amazing quality, and balsamic vinegar’s were crazy delicious… everything was great!
you can tell the workers really love the product, and actually care about what they’re selling. they’re extremely knowledgeable about the products, and very passionate about the health benefits to their consumers!
each olive oil and balsamic they sell has a description telling you the region it is from, and the flavor profile you’ll expect when you try it.
you can pick from 3 different sized bottles if you’re buying any of the olive oils or balsamics, but if you’re buying a truffle oil, that is more expensive, and comes in a smaller bottle.
you can sample, sample, sample to your hearts content! they encourage copious amounts of sampling! you can sample them in little cups, or on little pieces of baguette they provide. once you decide on the product you’re going to buy, they bottle it there for you, and seal it up fresh.
many people don’t realize the crazy potential for olive oils and balsamics, especially if they’re good quality. IT IS NOT JUST FOR COOKING PEOPLE! in fact really good olive oils aren’t for cooking at all… but that’s another story for another time.
they said they will soon be putting up recipes and ideas on their website for people who don’t know what to do with their product.
my favorites were the truffle oil, white balsamics, strawberry balsamic, herbs de Provence olive oil, espresso balsamic, and the black mission fig balsamic (which i bought!)
if you’re still not convinced, then let me tell you — they have only been open for LESS THAN A WEEK, and they’ve already sold out of several oils and balsamics!!!
