Not impressed with the service here. It’s my 3rd time back at the Sheraton Waikiki in 3 years. The pool service before was EXCELLENT, which is why we returned. We always got the cabanas before. It was a great deal and they had such good coverage. We reserved the same ones as before on this trip but when we arrived, we were very disappointed that they were no longer cabanas(even though they were advertised as cabanas on the website). It was just a small umbrella that offered very little protection from the sun. When we expressed our disappointment and asked if we could get refunded, they said no(understandable since there’s a 48 hour cancellation policy) and from that moment on were very rude to us. When we asked to cancel the 2nd day, they coldly said, «Do it on the website.» Anyways, we moved to the back, despite having paid for the cabanas for that day, because there was more shade. They continued to be rude and caddy to us during our stay at the Sheraton. It’s upsetting that they got rid of the cabanas from before. They really downgraded. The seats in front are really no different from the ones behind now, that are free. The umbrellas are even smaller than the back ones. I wouldn’t return to the Sheraton just because of the treatment of the pool staff.
