no one likes going to the bank unless it’s for depositing more money into your bank account! but in other sad cases, it could be paying back a loan and/​or transferring money from your savings because your checking just went into the negatives :/​boo
but even though i have to go once a month to pay off my credit card loan, going to this location doesn’t make it seem so bad because everyone here is so friendly and wonderful!
not a lot of people know about this Hawaiian Tel FCU as it’s hidden inside the Sheraton Waikiki hotel and opened mid last year i think? One thing that may cause confusion though is it’s labeled as Sheraton Hawaii Federal instead of Hawaiian Tel FCU. But it’s a shared branch, so they do other FCUs as well (Aloha Pacific FCU, Honolulu FCU, etc).
Finding this branch is a bit of a challenge as there’s no signs outside indicating where to go. As soon as you get to the Sheraton, there’s a ramp that goes up on the right-​hand side called the Manor Wing. you should also see a sign that mentions marriage certificates on the wall. go up that ramp until you hit the elevators. from there, you’ll see a sign that lists all the businesses and their room numbers. the Sheraton branch is in room 3505, so press level 35 when you get into the elevator. once you get off the elevator, turn left and it’s the 3^rd door to the left. you should see their sign outside their door. their hours are monday-​friday, 8a-​4p but they’re closed for lunch from 12 – 12:45p.
i really like this location because it’s very convenient for Waikiki workers, they have shorter lines and the staff is very friendly and helpful. i’ve been to this branch a couple times and every visit has always been exceptional service!
