Great massage for $ 30. No frills, they could push harder and do more but hey, I was there to feel better when I left than when I came in. My student was great, worked good on me and I was happy.

Just what I need. No frills $ 30 for an hour. Totally worth it after a stressful work day.

Awesome place! There are random students that work here and I have experienced about 10 different people. Only 1 was bad. Also, if you have someone you like, just ask when they work and if you can get their card so you request them.
Yes, the students are learning but they are mostly highly skilled already.
Clean place, kind hard workers and beautiful view of you get a room with view. And a great price.

What a waste of money! I get that the rates are cheap because they are students and still learning but… How do they learn if they don’t ask you anything? I asked for harder pressure three times during my massage and all she could say was ok I’ll try… I basically paid for someone to rub oil in me… It was the worst massage and a waste of one hour of my life! I only give it two stars because I think it’s hit or miss on what student you get… But… My personal experience was terrible! Never again! It’s $ 30 for this crappy place or just pay $ 60 and go upstairs to a real massage place…

First time here… Definitely was good! Everyone was super friendly. The massage was amazing –my back never felt better! Parking was only $ 1… I forgot the name of the girl who I got, but she totally worked my muscles.
This is a way better option than the Aiea School of Massage.

When I’m in need of a cheap massage, this is where I come! It’s only $ 30 for an hour or $ 45 minutes for an hour and a half. If you call ahead and ask for parking (it’s located in century center building), the receptionist will tell you to get this parking sign from the lady at the front gate letting you in and what stall on what floor to park in. Just leave the sign on your dashboard and you’re set!
Keep in mind that the people massaging you are students trying to make hours, so it’s kind of hit or miss. I’ve had some really good and some really mediocre massages. Either way, they are all very polite and hardworking students here. Definitely recommend if you want a cheap massage, but keep in mind that it’s kind of like playing Russian roulette. But still, I’ve never had a bad massage here. So maybe give it a try!

Last couple of times have received good student massages. Parking, sometimes the parking pass they assign you has been given out to someone else, no fault of HMA, it’s the parking garage attendant.
They now have a rewards card, ten 1 hour massages gets you a free one. or seven 1.5 hour massages.

Good school, but BEWARE, parking is a HUGE PROBLEM. You have to park on the street and walk, sometimes far and sometimes you cannot find parking. to park in the building is 20 per class which adds up to 100.00 per month. I could not attend and had to quit because of this and they will cheat you out of any money you give them so dont give them money. A better school is aiea school of professional massage. They are more honest

This is a massage academy for masseuses in the beginning stages of their practice. That being said, I have been here 3 times and my most recent visit was unreal. I asked for Kyle, and received one of the most pleasurable massages in recent memory. She is truly passionate about what she does. I walked out of their with immaculate posture, as she worked on certain spots in my upper back around my scapula to relieve built-​up pressure.
For $ 30 you cannot go wrong, ask for Kyle!

I had Kaori, she gave a $ 200 massage (90 minutes) ! Thank god! I needed it!

We came here on Saturday for an early mother’s day treat. I’d never been before, but my aunty comes here pretty regularly. When I first walked in, the students are all sitting against the wall and I felt a little strange, it seemed like how the movies portray «that kinda» massage parlor. You know what I mean. That was a terribly wrong assumption.
Anyways, when they «announced» who I was «assigned to,» my aunty exclaimed «LUCKY!» so I was pretty excited. Omg. Yoko is a petite Japanese girl, so I’m like hmmm idk how much I’ll get from this. Wrong assumption number two… I’m just doing a terrible job haha.
She is AMAZING! She did an amazing deep body massage and found a lot of tightness that I didn’t even know was there. I would definitely come back to see her again. I’m not sure if you can make requests of who you would like to work on you, but I will definitely try, and I would suggest you do as well.
I was very, very happy and came out of my massage on cloud 9! My grandma didn’t seem to have as pleasant an experience, though. I can’t attest to her experience, though, so it does not affect my review of Yoko in any way. She is so sweet, and so good! It was such a treat! :)

My bf and I made an appt that morning at 11am. Were in 2 different rooms but next door to eachother. Take off everything except your panties and the give yu an awesome rub down ! Only 30 and hour and 40 for 1 ½hour ! Should of gotten the 40dollar one ! At the end I askd my bf how it felt and if he liked it as much as I did and he did too ! So we gave our ladies each 20 dollar tip. They deserved it !
Also when I calld in rhat morning a guy answered and was very informative of whats gona happen and whag I need to do ! Met him there when we got there and he was real niceee !!!

I have had more than 100 massages in my day and this one was no different. My therapist was very good and you cannot beat the price!

Service was outstanding, as all the staff were all very polite and were able to accommodate me on very short notice. Also the parking is awesome. When you call they give you a stall number to park in and only pay $ 1 on exiting.
The only reason for a 4 vs. 5 star would be the first impression. It’s more of an office space upon entering but the rooms are clean, quiet, and relaxing.

I went to the massage academy with no real expectations at all because I knew the students were doing the massage. Much to my surprise, I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had. My massage was done by a woman named Aoi. I would refer her 100%. I will definately be going back and telling everyone I know to get there. It was only $ 45, plus a great tip, because Aoi deserved every cent of it. If you are looking for an amazing, relaxing massage that will relieve all your tension and knots, see Aoi!!! LOVED IT!!!
The parking situation was also very easy. They give you a numbered spot to park in and validate your ticket so the cost is $ 1 and hassle free!

Be ready for what you pay for… as you know you will be worked on by students– there are good students (but I have not found any) and bad students coming there to learn there thing– and they have not learned it mostly…
Again — if you have $ 30 purely burning in your pocket — go for it and don’t leave a tip as they are students if you really want to be mean– or you can go in there and suggest something that would help them as a student or go and be up front and find out who to talk to if the need arises– find out the name of the student that worked on you and give a constructive criticism.
Just know what you are going for and try your best to get what you need worked on– shoulders for example and say please work on my shoulders.

Massage is a must for any beachside vacation. I read that this was hit and miss but at less than half price of most Waikiki massage parlours I thought I’d give the students a chance. Maybe I was just lucky today but my therapist was amazing. 90 minutes of bliss. She was thoughtful, polite and checked that I was comfortable before massaging any sensitive areas such as neck and underarms.
The room itself was large well lit and very clean.
I have some issues with tight back muscles a light touch just won’t cut it. The pressure applied was perfect. Would definitely like to go back before I leave.

i went here because of the price. $ 30 for an hour.
i always have a lot of tension in and around my shoulders (traps) so much so that it gives me headaches. so i went here to see if i could get rid of some of that tension.
i was a bit confused once i got there…
you park in the parking structure (they will validate your ticket) and then find the lobby and ride the elevator up to the 21^st floor.
the majority if not all the staff are japanese. i dont know why im pointing that out, i just am. everyone i spoke with were easy to communicate with.
the student i got, i believe her name was Katsumi (or something similar sounding to that.)
i told her to focus on my shoulders and indeed she did. thats all i wanted/​needed done. the massage seemed to last sooo long, which was good. i kept dreading «ok im done» but it did not come for a while. after she got done with my shoulders, she worked on my arms and hands, then gave me a head massage. i started to fall asleep at that point, or maybe i did fall asleep, idk…
anyways, pleasurable experience. i will continue to go here for my massage needs.

It’s been a little bit since I visited this place. I wasn’t going to post anything out of respect for the business but it’s been several months since my massage here and I’m STILL PISSED about it…
I don’t remember the girl’s name who massaged me and yes, I know she’s just a student, but it really hurt. I don’t think she’s ever heard of the word «friction», and she hasn’t, because she hardly spoke any english. When I asked for more pressure, I could see her brace her feet against things and puuussshhh… but I didn’t feel anything. I know she was trying, evidenced by the grunting in my ear, but still, nope, nothing.
They were super polite and validated our parking stub, but when I got to the exit, the rude attendant yelled «$ 9 dollars!» at me. I told him, no, it’s validated. There’s a sticker on it, and he proceeded to tell me that it was not an actual validation. I sucked it up and payed. But I parked around the corner and called the front desk for the place and asked about it. The woman was so damn rude. She copped a huge attitude about it and then HUNG UP ON ME. Needless to say… well. You know.
