Every time I visit my sister, we make a pitstop in here… and it never disappoints me. Their stuff is just tooooo cute. A white and red heart pareo caught my eye but I’m using it as a scarf. It is just the cutest thing ever and it was only $ 25. I’m gonna buy some coffee and honey next time…

The staff was very nice but I’ve had mixed results shopping here. In the past I purchased a mucho aloha tshirt here. To this day it’s still one of my favorites. The next time I bought some of their uniquely flavored and packaged chocolates. Took them to a friends house and when we opened them there were small hairs all throughout the sealed packaging. So I tried the next box flavor and the next only to find he same thing. Kind of gross and we just ended up tossing them all. There goes around $ 25 bucks down the drain. I think I’ll stick with just clothes if I ever actually buy something here again.

Love ya Happy Haleiwa. Cute everything, nothing ugly in this store! Seriously! Love all the shirts, bags, gadgets, treats… such a unique find for all occasions and for everyone who loves cute things. Whenever you buy something from here, they put it in a cute resuable bag!

Very cute store! They have a lot of simple cute bags, and tshirts(that I wish would fit me, sad life) I walked in here unexpectedly and I’ve been wanting to go here for a while, the shop is small and welcoming. You can’t walk pass it because of all the cute stuff they show in the window! They have a lot of unique PRICEY designs for simple items, like accessories and clothing. Everything is great here for souvenirs to send to the mainland! I just wish they sold stuff that would fit me, it seemed like all the tshirt were made for little kids. So sad, I have to be a extra medium or something to fit into the shirts here. Other than that, very friendly customer service, and will be back for the cute hand bags and accessories!

I have never been there, but a friend brought back some candies from there, Pineapple Snow taste Macadamia Nuts. They were EXCELLENT. I wish their website had a store to buy more.

Gosh, I feel like I just walked into cuteness(or KAWAII as everyone has been saying) overload. Great place to buy gifts for friends and family, especially the ones that don’t live in Hawaii. I love the packaging and the brand itself, whoever is the graphic design or the illustrator for Happy Haleiwa is super on point. So much cute stuff like thermoses, little lunch bags, key chains, Crush sunglasses, jewelry, even water bottles. They revolve around products from the North Shore which is really cool and it really keeps that local flavor that sometimes local brands lack. I practically ran around the store like 4 times acting all giddy. Unilocal 365 Challenge #33/365

This place is super KAWAII(as Gwen Stefani says, «super cute in Japanese!») This store is in the Ward Center, and is the epitome of great branding. I just want to buy stuff here because of the cute logo! From $ 26 tshirts, small water bottles, $ 30 beach towel, bags, strawberry macadamia nut chocolate, hoodies, cookies, stickers, keychains, etc. You can’t come out here without buying a little something something or alot of something. I came here on Halloween and was assisted by a lady sailor working the register. She was friendly and her coworker offered us free candy(from the Halloween stash). They asked if I wanted gift bags to pack the macadamia nut candy(as I was buying souvenirs for back home). I returned later because I needed a beach towel and wanted a reason to come back here, and got the big pink Happy Haleiwa tote bag. I was walking at the Ala Moana Center later and these two Japanese tourists went crazy when they noticed my bag. They went far enough to a store I was in, and wanted to know where the store was and I told them it was in the Ward Center. They came back in the store again with a map asking me to show them. The map was in Japanese, and luckily I had taken a business card with me and just gave it to them. Definitely a good place to check out for some souvenirs for little girls or lady friends if you want to be a little unique.

NOWTHISISPARADISE! This is what Hawaii is about, right? They sell a wide and colorful variety of t-shirts, water bottles, bags of all sizes with the Happy Haleiwa hearts and that cute little trademark girl. My inner 13-year old was THRILLED by this store. It reminded me of those years I spent collecting Morning Glory and Sanrio stickers in order to decorate my rolodex– like planner, but oh so much cuter and brighter and happier.

This shop is KAWAII! I was looking around Ward Warehouse at the little boutique shops for a cute gift and came across Happy Haleiwa. I’ve seen this place before, but have never gone inside until yesterday. Inside is kinda reminiscent of a Japanese surf boutique with bright colors and their cute logo mascot that looks like Pipi Longstocking. They have a limited inventory of cute surf t-shirts, purses, bags, keychains and water bottles. What caught my eye was a shelf that had local chocolates(repackaged from Menehune Mac, I believe) and cookies. I grabbed the mac nut cookies and mac nut chocolates and a sticker. Everything is reasonably priced and they put your purchases in a cute paper logo bag with hearts all over. Reminds me of the paper bags at Sanrio. Nice packaging always seals the deal when you’re trying to buy a gift. Then you don’t have to repackage. They even gave me a free bottle of water with their logo on it. Free is good. I’ll be back for more local gifts! They have a facebook with pictures of their merch.
