Had a total remodel done on my home with matching cabinets and granite throughout. After pricing a few locations I found nothing came anywhere close to being decent in pricing and product to Golden Cabinets. I was able to get what I wanted at the price I could afford. And not just make do with the cheapest and ugliest others where selling at the same cost. From day one I worked with Sam. He answered all of my million phone calls even on days he was off. He helped explain how things were installed and always double checked on me after every call or email. Always making sure that I was content and happy with the product and services. I even had to make a few last minute changes and he was right there to make things right for me. Sam was amazing to work with! There is no place else I will do business with other than this location. And I absolutely love love love my 15′ kitchen island and the rest of the house!!!

I worked with Kai to replace a cracked granite countertop. He was so helpful, worked with me and my last minute changes. Also he got back to me right away regarding any questions I had. I also used them for demo/​install they were so fast, detailed and did a beautiful job! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for stone countertops.

My boyfriend does a lot of side jobs and this is the place where he gets his countertops and cabinets from. The go-​to guy there is Samuel. He is extremely helpful and cares about the needs of his customers. You will not be disappointed!

I have been dealing with Golden cabinets for a few years now. There cabinets, granite, countertops are all top of line, with great prices! Samuel is the main guy I deal with, and he always makes sure the customer is satisfied. Samuel is very resourceful and knowledgable and let’s me know when one thing is better than another. He always gets back to me with answers to my questions. Golden cabinets is highly recommended great staff, great product! Thank you Sam for always helping me out!

See salesman Kai (spl) he gave us everything we wanted and come out late at night to fix a cabinet door on his day. Contractor Ai (spl again) really did beautiful work on cabinet, quartz and ceramic tile install. Non stop work. Definitely recommend these guys to friends

Bought cabinets here. Price is good. Very few selection s. The good thing is they deliver stuff that you ordered complete, unlike other companies. If you like what they have. You’re good to go.

First time for me going to golden cabinet, it was a really
good experience. I had the pleasure dealing with Sam. He really new his stuff and had a lot of knowledge and he left no questions unanswered.

Just completed total renovation including cabinets and granite counters for the kitchen and two full baths. Extremely happy with installation but mostly working with Nan. Her customer service was outstanding! Nan was quick to prepare an on-​the-​spot quote and layout, patient and flexible to changes, possess professional and humble demeanor. She understood my requirements, was very helpful in offering options and artistic recommendations, and worked with tight timeline to get our project scheduled. Nan followed up on the progress throughout the selection and installation process. Nan is the best and is the only reason I am interested in doing another project with Golden Cabinets.
Jason and his crew worked hard to get the installation completed and ensure we were completely happy with the installation.

Think twice about using Golden. Check with the other similar cabinet shops/​companies around town!
1. No after service follow up. Promise but have not returned to fix Quartz backing under microwave. Installer installed without leaving space to remove microwave. Unable to remove microwave
2. Refrigerator slot was too small. Had to fix. Tried to cut Quartz in my finished kitchen/​home resulting with dust «inside my home.» I had to insist to cut outside of which they did. Should have remove and cut outside from the beginning.
3. Out sourcing of installers. Was not Golden employees. I was under impression that installers were from company.
Would not recommend or return for business.

WELL after a hesitant recommend from a friend I chose G.C. for the pricing which is great. Thats as far as it goes. Buyer beware… these are ULTRA-​CHEAP plywood laminate cabinets of the least expertise and craftsmanship one could find on the planet… well China that is. Pass this place by and be happy you did. What a P.I.T.A., even my guy who is going to do the stone counters grimaced when I mentioned them. Quality is in the basement. The monkeys pump these out with **no skill** or pride just screwing together plank A onto plank B etc.
The door gaps are of unequal distance, etc, Oh and it gets better, the planks they pass off as doors are NOT drilled for your handles! So you can place them where you want was the response. There is a standard door handle placement. Its because they dont KNOW HOW!
I took my door and handle to them and was given a big raised eyebrow and a bogus answer of drilling it freehand. Ya right, Well let me tell you this is not something to be done freehand unless your eye for symetry is way off. I then asked for a template, got the same answer and puzzled look, we dont have or use templates because we dont drill for handles. I was resigned to make my own template but found one at Home Depot for $ 9. How could they not know this?
Also, Any slight bump will show up as a scratch on the surface, really soft material. The hinge screws have already begun to strip because the screws are to short and of ultra cheap quality, like screwing into semi-​soft caulk. I have begun using woodglue on these to retain some strength and longevity. Dont dare look on the underside of your wall cabinets as you will be horrified with a bare and exposed plywood surface to catch dirt, look like unfinished business (which it is) and eventuallly termites. Quote…“You can simply paint them”. Of which these may last 5 – 6 years with the hungry little guys. All this and i only have 5 wall cabinets up! If you can help it at all and your in your home long term, spend the extra dough and get crafted cabinets anywhere else.
My one caveat is to give huge KUDOS to my sales guy Ben, he is super friendly, called me back every time and did what is his best under the circumstances and quality he has to sell (yikes). I hope he moves on with another company he deserves better then to sell this junk.

The products look good. The service in the showroom is good until you make the final payment. Please be aware that the toekick DOES NOT completely cover the bottom of the cabinet structure so there is an opening for insects to come into your home. I checked other cabinets at different stores and the toekicks completely cover the bottom. I spoke with the sales reps and they say that that is how all their cabinets are made and showed me their cabinets in the showroom. They have nothing to cover the ½ inch gap. I tried to speak to the Manager and he actually shooed me away! Looks good but I would trade that for one that does not allow insects into my home.

We are using Golden cabinets for the cabinetry in our home as well as the counter tops and sinks. Our contractor uses them exclusively, and we have been very impressed with the quality. Any reviews that I have read on Unilocal always complain about the installation done by Golden, but we will be using our own contractor. We selected the Dark Royal Cherry cabinets, which are higher end, but are worth the extra $. We are most anxious to see them installed in our new kitchen, wetbar, and bathrooms.

Very pleased with Golden Cabinets. Joni was the best! Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Remodeled 40 year old condo kitchen… cabinets, granite and beautiful floor tile. Demolition through final completion took 4 days! Great installation crew. One thing to note is that they do not do electrical or wall repair. Would recommend Golden Cabinets.

We purchased 3 bathroom cabinets, quartz counter tops and sinks. We had the company do the demolition and installation. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the workmen worked so fast! All were done in one day. The showroom staff were very helpful.

My family just finalized our purchase of a lot of material from Golden. Cabinets for a kitchen, desk. Two baths and seven slabs of Quartz.
Sam was my sales rep from day one and he did an awesome job communicating with me via email and phone call. We changed our design multiple times and he made these changed quickly.
Only recommendation I have is once you finalize your decision, buy the materials! These guys pump out serious volume, what’s there today, won’t be tomorrow.
Go to Sam, I liked him best.

Talk to Joni or Nan as they are fantastic at getting the right cabinets in the right places and knowing the product.
It is difficult to get someone to talk to you at first, however, once you do, the prices and the availability is hard to beat.

I already purchased the cabinets from elsewhere. But just the lack of assistance and choices (and personally, enthusiasm. I mean, I’m spending a ton of money, the least you can do is look interested), I decided to go elsewhere for the counter tops. This lead to one of my, too few, «what a great idea» moments. Finding GC.
How wonderful it is to get great pricing along with people who know what they are doing. Not only did we settle on a wonderful counter top, but they also gave suggestions and what others have done to help the process of choosing the perfect counter top oh so painless. On top of that, they were very flexible with the installation time since we didn’t know when the cabinets were going to be installed.
And this is the best part! The installation. These guys and gal not only installed it right, but I was delighted to be able to tap into their expertise and gain some insights with where and what to do for placing the counters in strange angles. Furthermore, they accommodated and made the counters to fit those angles.
Thumbs up for this company. I just wish I could have added to my «Great decision moments» and went to them for my cabinets.

Golden Cabinets is an excellent choice when looking for a great value for cabinets and counters. Before renovating my own home, I price shopped many other stores and suppliers and none of them came close to the price of Golden Cabinets. They are also one of the most widely known and used cabinet suppliers on Oahu, virtually every contractor I spoke to recommended them to me.
They have a great showroom that showcases all of the materials they carry so it is easy to see what your finished product will look like when installed. One of the best things is that everything I ordered from them was in stock and available to pickup within 1 – 2 days; no waiting! This was a big difference from the 4 – 6 weeks wait time at all other stores.
My salesman, Samuel, was fantastic. He was able to do a virtual design for my new kitchen and bathroom layouts based on a simple hand drawn floor plan we provided him. This was very helpful to visualize what it would look like when completed. He was extremely friendly, patient, easy to work with and available by phone anytime. He also communicated very well with the installation crew especially when we made some last minute changes to our design/​order.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience with Golden Cabinets and I will certainly be recommending them to all of my clients.

PLEASE DON’T USE THEM! (unless you want heartache, grief, problems, cuts on your feet, and terrible, unprofessional service. I was remodeling my penthouse in oahu and was promised perfection, but instead now I have wasted so much time because they did a horrible job and lied to me. First, I paid a $ 5000 deposit for a material for my cabinets several months in advance and then when the time came, they said there was a problem with the computers and they didn’t have anymore and didn’t even give me my money back. Te material and workmanship looks like the cabinets were built a long time ago. I really want them to redo it, but they are refusing to and I have given them so much of my money. I am very upset and wish I could give negative stars. Don’t use them – I’m sure there are better places.

Kitchen cabinets looked ok. Beautiful counter stones with reasonable price. Employees seemed very busy. We were just looking so it was perfect but if you need some assistance, it might be hard to get.
