Mel is a friend of mine and he’s been taking care for a few months now. I came to Mel to just do something different and if he could help me achieve my rose gold ombré that I always wanted. It was achieved!!!
I later changed my mind about doing red. I told him how I don’t want to have high maintenance on my hair because of work and just too busy with everything else in the world.
He gave me numerous options that we can do to achieve the red color that I was looking for and low maintenance on my hair. He doesn’t pressure me into what he wants me to do. He’s very patient and very knowledgeable. He explains what he’ll do to your hair and how to care for your hair as well.
He really cares for his clients and makes them feel comfortable.

I’ve been coming to Miya for the past 9 months and it’s been an amazing experience. I’m very picky when it comes to my hair color… And she has never failed me! I was so sick of my two toned hair and damaged ends. Heck, my whole hair was damaged! I decided it was time for me to get rid of it and starting looking into bob cuts. And FYI, the last time I ever had my hair that short was when I was 10. Hesitant but so excited I went to gallery M. My hair stylist was Melvin and he exceeded everything I was expecting. I wanted my ends gone, but I didn’t want it too short. He asked me for length before he even touched my hair. When he was done with the cut he brought my hair back to life. My hair was feeling healthier than I ever remembered. And let me add, the shampoo plus massage was a total win! Not only was he great at the cut, but the whole feeling of the salon was peaceful and they even offered refreshments like water, tea, or coffee. It was also very big. It was worth every dollar spent & I’ll definitely return 3 – 4 months to maintain it. My boyfriend had approved this cut and I’ve only had this cut for a day and I’ve been approached by strangers asking where I got my hair done. I definitely recommend Gallery M!
