Have been bringing all 3 kiddos here for their haircuts on & off through the years. I get a simple trim & bang trim only now & then b/c I have a regular stylist. Have always been satisfied with the service & cut but not today. My son described what he wanted but in my opinion, his hair was cut WAYTOOSHORT in a style that does not match him. Not once did this particular stylist ask me during the haircut if it was OK so far(everyone else in the past has). Then the stylist doing my hair asked if I was getting a bangs trim & I said yes, plus ends. She said in a snide tone, «Oh so not just a bang trim, a haircut». She asked if I wanted to see the back while my bangs were in my eyes & I had to put on my glasses to see far over my bangs. Then she cut my hair using a method I’ve never experienced & my bangs are maybe a centimeter shorter. I got charged $ 25 b/c my hair is long. Oh yeah she was not happy my hair was that long. I guess cutting 3 inches off is a tedious thing. I am really disappointed by the cuts. Giving 3 stars b/c of past good experiences.

I Love this place!!! I don’t do my hair there but, My Boyfriend does!!! Anni the Owner there is the only one that can actually do Platinum!!! Fantastic Sam’s sounds like a Cheap place with inexperience hair stylist!!! NOT!!! All Her Girls there are great!!! & I must say… the prices are what anyone would be looking for. We went to about a dozen places who told My Boyfriend they could easily do platinum!!! That wasn’t the case. Talk about Yellow… Orange!!! Ugh!!! Shame… Shame on the higher end places!!!

I just happen to try this Fantastic Sams since my regular hair dresser was on vacation and was happy with the results of what I had done however, the gal that worked on my hair asked me if I wanted my hair blow dried which I learned was an additional charge of $ 10.00? I thought that was odd since most hair salons I’ve been to throughout my lifetime NEVER charged extra for hair drying whether it was just to dry it or «style» blow-dry. Another disappointment is, they charge for every little thing«a’la carte». There are separate charges for: Hair cut, hair dye, the solution, blow-dry, etc… The thing is, charges for hair cut and the«procedure» for dying hair is normal obviously, BUTNOT an additional cost for the dye solution, which should just be included in the dying procedure AND to blow-dry your hair after??? I mean come on now, isn’t it a little tacky to have your customer walk out of the salon with their hair wet? Blow-drying should automatically be included whenever you have your hair washed for whatever reason. I’ll make sure I never go back to this Fantastic Sams. Will also spread the word.

I highly recommend against going here. I only went to two stylists(who both left) because they were only ones who knew what they were doing. I would not trust getting my haircut here anymore. I’m not a picky person but I also don’t want a crappy haircut! Downsides: I always had to wait, they’re required to use gloves when they wash a customer’s hair(is that odd? I’ve never had that before and it feels a little strange), and there’s just nothing special about over here for the prices they charge. You can get a cheaper and better haircut elsewhere.

I went in today an hour before my wife got of of work, hoping to get a haircut. I arrived and signed in with my name and phone number at the top of the list. Apparently my mistake was thinking that meant I was next in line, because the following three people after me were helped. I was not acknowledged even once. No «sorry, we’ll be with you in a minute.» Nothing. I left after an hour, without a haircut, and I won’t be going back. It’s a shame, because I got a haircut here last month and planned on making it my default salon.

I always come here for my haircuts. Men’s basic haircuts are $ 16($ 18 with Shampooing, although some condition too. I guess you have to be lucky with who you get) I never go to the same person but everytime I go in there, I kind of get a different haircut although I tell them the same instructions. Some people have different tricks and some people do certain other things. I guess you just have to go and find someone you like and try remember their name. There is rarely a wait as well.(IDk if that’s a good or bad thing) Overall, it’s convenient and if I’m hungry, I can stop by Tamura’s on my way home to pick up some Poke for lunch or even Storto’s.

I have been going here for over 4 years. The service is always quick when I go. The stylist are friendly but there is a slight language barrier.
