Facials by June

June is the absolute best at facials! I’ve gone to her twice and my skin has improved so much since then. She is thorough and precise and as much as I fear extractions, I appreciate her for doing them. Some people may be more tolerant to the pain of extractions but I always end up tearing up and shifting around while she’s performing them. However, there’s something about June that is so comforting that the crying doesn’t get awkward. FYI If you get extractions, your skin will look bumpy and scarred for the next couple of days (depending on how many extractions you get) but when it heals, it will look better than ever.
She recommended the Obagi skincare line to me and while it is pricy, it is worth the money. June uses those products herself and her skin is flawless.
June is also kind-​hearted and easy to talk to. During our last appointment, she found out my birthday had just passed. After my facial, she sneaked in some products to me as a birthday gift. How sweet!
If you’re wondering about which facial to get, I recommend that you just make the appointment with her and show up. She will use her professional judgment on which facial to give you after examining your skin. She does book up very quickly so I recommend planning in advance.

I’ve been going to June for facials for a few months now, every other month. Her facial price is $ 80 — very reasonable compared to the typical hotel spas. Her cute studio is located in the Kaheka Professionals Building with a parking lot available. She validates so the parking is free.
The experience itself keeps getting better and better. June does a thorough job cleansing the face, taking out all of the blackheads, incorporates a head/​neck/​shoulder massage, and ends with a relaxing mask. My face has felt better than ever before since I’ve been going to her. Every appointment, I get a little something extra added on. The first time she cleaned my wedding rings for me, the next time she gave me a deeper massage, and this past time, she got rid of my «mustache» which was a nice surprise. I’ve been wanting to inquire about it, but just never got to it yet, and for my first experience of getting rid of it, it was quite pleasant, and did not hurt at all!
She sells the products she uses on your face. So far I’ve purchased the toner, moisturizer, and 50 SPF.
I love June. She’s very personable and easy to talk to. She makes you feel really comfortable. I highly recommend her, her products, and becoming a regular!

I did the deep cleansing and my skin is glowing after the treatment. She is professional and honest, I like her, will return as a regular.

Had my first facial at Facials by June. Like spending an hour and a half with a good friend but coming home looking and feeling like a million bucks. She is well worth every penny. She cuts NO corners. I texted hoping to get an appointment within a few days but June was fully booked. What a happy surprise when she texted me back and managed to fit me in the very next day. I have had many a facial over the years but this was the best by far, more like a micro vacation. I’m on my feet all day at work so the leg compression sleeves did wonders and went a long way towards relaxing me not to mention the neck and shoulder massage.

Thank you fellow Unilocalers. After reading your positive reviews, I decided to make an appt with June and I was not disappointed! June is an expert at her craft, and in my opinion this is the best facial I have had in a long, long time! A confident professional, June used a practiced hand to remove white heads, milia, and gave me some good advice for caring for dry skin. In fact she made me feel so comfortable, it was more like visiting with an old friend. (If your old friend is a master esthetician ;)
I highly recommend June and plan to return soon. Reasonable rates, parking in the lot behind the building.

For Valentine’s Day back in 2013, my awesome boyfriend got me a gift card to Facials by June fully loaded with enough money to do 2 Deep Cleansing Facials (either 2 times for myself or I could take a friend). …I am TERRIBLE at using gift cards! Fast forward to late 2015, I finally made the appointments and visited June.
Facials by June is run by the one and only super personable June. Sessions are appointments only, and through texting only. Services range from facials, massages, waxing, eyelash extensions, and even semi-​permanent makeup! My boyfriend ended up being my lucky +1, and I was able to snag the next back to back facial appointments that were 2.5 weeks later.
Parking is located in the lot behind Kaheka Professional Center with the entrance on Liona Street. Bring dollar bills to feed the lot meter (~$ 3). June’s studio is located on the second floor accessible by the elevator in the building. Once out of the elevator, walk straight, her door should be the second one on the left.
This was the first facial I’ve ever gotten, and I honestly did not know what to expect. What I did get was a SOOTHING hour of RELAXATION. I could feel the tension ease as June worked her magic on my face. The Deep Cleansing Facial also included extractions of black and white heads. This may cause your skin to look a little irritated for the next day, but you can definitely see the positive results after that. My skin has never felt so smooth and my pores were much smaller!
What I loved about Facials by June was… June! She was so professional yet so kind and likable. June actually offered to let me watch the whole process when it was my boyfriend’s turn for his facial. So of course I said YES! That was so fun and educational to see what was previously done on my face. Also, did I mention that the gift cards issued here do not lose dollar value throughout the years!!! PERFECT for a slacker like me.
All in all I will definitely be back to visit June and to pamper myself again!

AMAZING. I went to her for a deep cleanse. My skin definitely looked scary for a few days after the appointment (June warned me it would), but by day four I was living my life sans makeup. Couldn’t ask for more than that.

June is AMAZING. She does it all, and does it well.
I’ve been to too many places «claiming» that they do facials. Yes, they may help exfoliate your skin, add whitening serum and make your skin glow afterwards… but without actually extractions, in my opinion, that’s not a facial — that’s just cleaning your face with a nice massage to go along with.
Well done June! Be aware though, she does book out probably weeks at a time so if you know you need a facial before a big gala or event, plan your appointment soon!

I had my first facial with June today. She is so attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly! I felt extremely comfortable and thought she did an amazing job. She even spent a lot of time chatting with me about what I should do to keep caring for my skin in the future. I will definitely be back to see her!

I’ve been going to her frequently for about a year now. She always remembers what’s going on in my life and makes it a point to catch up with me. She also gives me great advice on skin care. She has me hooked on Obagi! I had severe hyperpigmentation and its slowly going away.
Her prices are affordable compared to other places I’ve gone (and I’ve gone to a lot). Anything under $ 100 is a good deal considering the products she uses are high end and medical grade.

I had a facial with June in end of October when I was visiting from LA for a wedding in Hawaii. June accommodated me and responded very quickly to my texts. She is a sweetheart. I walked out of there feeling beautiful! My skin felt smooth, radiant and clean! The only thing I will not have her do is pluck my eyebrows. One eyebrow was overly plucked on one end, so one was shorter in length than the other. I’ll just pass on that next time. Other than that, I will definitely be back for another facial when I am back on Oahu during the holidays!

Came to June for the first time last week. It had been years since my last facial. Her studio was clean and she got be in quickly!
My skin needed some help. I’ve been oily and breaking out… Not fun. I have to say that now, five days later my skin looks great!!! There is no scaring from extractions and my skin is clear.
Extractions are not my favorite. They hurt! And beware, you look scary for a few days after so plan accordingly. I did the deep clean which included an awesome mask. I am happy with the results and will be back! She gave me suggestions and homework for what will work for me. See you in 6 months June!

I hardly give Unilocal reviews because I’m suspect of reviewers’ motive. But I thought I needed to add to the positive reviews.
I’ve been to many estheticians and was looking for one who will:
–thoroughly de-​knot the tension in my shoulders and décolleté area;
–firmly massage my face;
–massage my arms and hands while the masque is on;
–efficiently extract my blackheads and whiteheads without leaving a scar;
–genuinely care about my skin; and
–charge a reasonable price (get the $ 75 deep cleansing facial, it’s the best value!).
I found June. I have been going to her on a monthly basis since January 2014 and often have referred my friends to her. She is friendly and has your skin’s health as a top priority! It’s true what other Unilocalers say about her professionalism and strong hands. You can make the appointment via text and she will text you an appointment reminder.
I’ve always wanted to try Obaji and bought the full line at her salon after my first visit. My face has really improved and I treat myself every month with the deep-​cleansing facial.
Once you have this great experience, you will want to make it treat every month like my sister and me! You’re gonna want to book your subsequent appointment right after you finish, trust me.

June took charge of making me comfortable and immediately went to work applying the skin soothing creams with a strong and calming technique. When you put your face in the hands of another, trouble skin can scream back. June was able to detox my skin, shine up my sole and leave me with the lightness of being, that’s a gift.
June also went out of her way to explain what she was doing, what I could be doing, and some homework on my part. She was very attentive to any direction of my tangent conversations and needs.
Talk about feeling better inside and out. She’s definitely set a new standard.

Last week I saw June for a facial. I booked the appointment via text, which is pretty cool and clever at the same time. The location was easy to find with parking and she validates. June is friendly and knowledgeable, it’s what I’d expected in an esthetician. What I didn’t expect was that she is strong (excellent surprise massage) and warm; she made me feel comfortable, like we’ve known each other for years kind of comfortable.
I play in the sun a lot and I’m over 40, so my skin definitely needs some extra love. I got the Hydra Whitening Oxygen Treatment, which refreshes, repairs and protects my skin. It felt really good and I looked great after too. And the price is great.

Got my very first facial (microdermabrasion/​deep cleaning) from June and it was a great experience. The microdermabrasion didn’t hurt at all and my skin now feels very soft. The deep cleaning included extracting the milia growths on my face and I am very pleased with the results. June is very thorough and got every last one. Full disclosure — it’s not a painless procedure, but that was to be expected. But it was very bearable and totally worth having smooth skin again.
June is very friendly but still professional… I felt nicely pampered. Her prices are very reasonable for all that’s included and I highly recommend her without reservation. Thank you for the awesome service June!
