As my first time getting lash extensions done, I really didn’t know which ones to pick and even what to expect. I decided to get the enhance extensions, jus to test the waters. When I arrived, Karen carefully observed my lashes and she informed me on which lashes would best suit me if I end up coming in for touch ups. She was super quick and precise in her movements. I loved how she explained my eye shape and what length/​method of application she was using through the whole process. Has a very pleasant experience and I’m in love with my lashes!

Karen-​Marie is the best. Lashes came out just how I wanted it. I’m doing an interview so I wanted my lashes to be elegant and not too full. Also my lashes feel very light as if I never even got them done. She did just as I asked. It took around an hour yet it felt so quick. Which is a good thing for me. I got cold and she even put a blanket over me too keep me warm. Very sweet woman. I would definitely book with her and you should too:)

I’ve never had my eyelashes done before, and decided to go with Karen for my first appointment. The session was extremely relaxing and I was so happy with my results after I was done! The enhance half-​set was all I needed to totally bring my lashes to life! Definitely coming back again for a retouch to keep my lashes looking amazing!

I had done a lash extension and booked online. The online is a little confusing for a new comer. I just need to touch up and I have no clue on which service that is.
Other than that, Karen-​Marie was very professional and since this was my first time getting it done, she fully explained the process from the start and then how to take care of them after. She made me feel comfortable with this new experience. I too, don’t put on make-​up but having these lashes made a big difference. Of course took a while to get used to not rubbing my eyes (habit I guess) and washing my face «NO TOUCHING THE LASHES».
I normally would only book on Saturdays which parking might be a little crazy with the farmers market going on at Ward.
Over all, I love it, and I just need help with the online booking.

In Maui I got eyelash extensions that were simply horrible, when I returned to Honolulu I booked an appointment with Karen Marie as soon as I could. She removed the botched eyelashes very gently & performed her magic on my eyelashes! I am so happy with them now and I will not use anyone but Karen Marie from now on. The ambience & professional service is great & I will recommend her to all my friends & family visiting Honolulu.

Karen is excellent. She did a wonderful job at making my lashes look great but also natural. And she was so thorough in explaining care for my new beautiful lashes. I’ve had it done before elsewhere and they didn’t last but a week… I am going on two weeks and they still look OOH LA LA!

I have always wondered about eyelash extensions. From what I understood, they’re very high maintenance; you can’t get them wet and the prices to put them on are crazy! Plus, I’m not very girly girl. I hate putting on makeup and getting done up. I rather live au naturel. Unfortunately, being that way makes me look like a guy and that does nothing to attract the opposite sex.
Anyway, back to the eyelashes. Why did I get them? Well, I was going on a trip, and from what I understood, having eyelash extensions does cut down on makeup time. Heck, I’m down for that since I hate putting on makeup. Less time getting ready equals more time for sleep! Goal! Isn’t that what vacations are about, relaxation and experiencing new places? So, I figured, heck I’ll do the extensions. I’ll try them out and if I hate them, I just won’t get them put back on.
But once Karen-​Marie was done putting them on, I was all like, whoa baby, I look so cute! I loved it! The whole flight there (the 6 hours flying) I was staring at myself in the mirror, taking selfies, fluttering my eyelashes, my friend thought I was crazy! But I love it. The eyelashes opened up my eyes! Without putting on makeup and makeup and makeup.
My vacation did involve serious pool time and in the water, but I was careful. I wasn’t a pain and said, oh don’t get my lashes wet. They got wet, but I did my best that the water didn’t pull too much on them. Yes, I know, that sounds weird, but once you have lashes, you’ll understand. So that nixed that myth, you can get them wet. Not excessively wet, but your lashes won’t die if you splash some water on them.
My verdict on eyelash extensions? I can not not have them. It makes a world of a difference. All I have to do is wake up and go! It’s that easy! I get fills every 2 weeks, but I rather save myself time than money. But her prices are not ridiculous! They are very affordable unlike some other places. The thing about the lashes is that I don’t have very long ones. Karen-​Marie tried the longer ones on me, but they didn’t look right. Maybe for other people it would be ok, but I trust her judgement on how she makes me look so beautiful!
Karen-​Marie is very professional, but is a one-​woman shop. Because she runs everything, she prefers texting. She does have an on-​line appointment system that makes it very easy to make appointments. There isn’t any parking at the building, but Ward Center has tons of parking. Just go to Jamba after you park!
So if you are curious about eyelash extensions, check out Karen-​Marie. And if you don’t like them, then you don’t have to get them refilled. But you’ll look funny with stray lashes on. Good luck!

Karen did an amazing job! I had my lashes done for my wedding and I loved it so much that my sister had hers done too. You can tell that her technical proficiency is very high and she’s also very friendly and easy to talk to. She also shaped my brows to a beautifully natural shape. She really does a great job – I cannot emphasize that enough. The extensions are light and NOT pokey. The spacing is perfect! She knows exactly how to open up the eye and accentuate the right parts.
