Ordered iced tea(unlimited refill as said in the menu, the glass was tiny anyway). The server never once came to ask how our food was, or never came to offer more iced tea even though the glass had been empty for a long time. It was not busy, there were only 4 tables with customers. Then the check included 18% tip! We told them we would like the forced gratuity to be taken out because of the awful service, however they insisted that they will not take it out and basically said we should have hunted down servers if we wanted a refill. What kind of service is that? Most other much cheaper restaurant servers would ask if we are enjoying the food, offer refills, etc. They also said tourists sometimes don’t understand tipping so they force 18% gratuity/service charge. Worst part is, they put 18% forced service charge, then, the check still has tip_line empty with«suggested gratuity: 15%=, 18%=, 20%=» trying to trick customers to pay 18% PLUS additional tip! This place has zero moral concern for the customers, leaves a big question about what type of greedy people run this place, trying to rip off as much tip as possible from tourists and customers.

Ahhh, those soufflé pancakes though! So amazing! I love that they’re light and fluffy — these pancakes leave you feeling full but not a guilty full. I also love the iced coffee!

Quaint restaurant with friendly staff. Hubby and daughter(and the couple next to us — yes I was eavesdropping) were wowed by the soufflé pancake. I personally like mine old fashioned style. I had the salmon benedict on a bed of hash brown(instead of the usual english muffin). I found it to be on the salty side and the hash brown needed a couple more mins of cooking. Hubby had the Maguro — ahi carpaccio on rice cake with avocado and poached eggs which he said were good. Our daughter had the Premium Hawaiian which was basically applewood smoked bacon on a baguette with poached eggs. She enjoyed it while I looked longingly at her thick cut bacon. Note to self: what’s wrong with you? always go with the bacon! The service was fast and they offer parking validation so we didn’t have to pay parking.

Omg yum!!! A friend of mine used to live her and she recommended we go here. I’m so glad I listened! I had the clementine soufflé pancake, and it was delicious, unlike anything I’ve ever had. My husband had the Hawaiian Benedict(and gave me a bite), and it was even better than mine! Parking is only 2 $ with validation. I’m sold.

This quaint little breakfast café is just about the epitome of something you’d see in a movie. The entrance pathway is adorable and the style inside matches perfectly. Upon walking inside my friend and I were greeted very nicely and even though it was a pretty busy Sunday, they tried to accommodate us really quickly. Onto the food– My friend and I ordered the Off the Wall Eggs Benedict and the Wild Berry Soufflé Pancakes and both were AMAZING. Off the Wall Eggs Benedict– great combination of salty from the fried bacon and sweet from the syrup drizzled on top. The eggs were almost perfect and could’ve used a little less salt, but it still tasted great with everything else. Wild Berry Soufflé Pancakes– they were light and fluffy and the whipped cream made it perfect. I wished for more berries with the pancakes, but that’s just my preference. As for drinks, I highly recommend the Mint Lemonade Refresher. It’s a great complement to the sweet and savoury tastes from the food and will give a nice little kick to your day.

On our last day, before we checked out of the hotel, we stopped by here to grab breakfast. Omg! This place was so cute and so welcoming. I felt like I was in paris or an enchanted cottage restaurant. Décor was so vintage(chandeliers, old rusty doors, bird cages, paintings, statues, etc.). We were immediately seated. Our waitress was nice, she explained to us their menu and specials for the day, as well as their drinks! We ordered our colorful drinks and they were delicious. The love ordered his omelette, I ordered the soufflé pancakes… and they were to die for! So fluffy and light, that it just melts in your mouth! Even the love wanted to trade his for mine but I said no. Price is a bit expensive but with the food, service, and atmosphere, it’s worth it.

It was good but I died a little inside when I got the bill. I had the stewed beef ommuraisu with a latte and banana shake. The ommuraisu tasted amazing and it was the perfect service size. I would call the proportions Japanese sized instead of American because it seems disappointingly tiny but in the end you’re just like«oh, okay I guess I’m full after all.» The latte was boring; for the price, I kind of expected latte art. The banana shake was also boring… It was just a banana blended with ice and probably milk. The SO had the soufflé pancakes which I tried and loved. I don’t want pancakes any other way now. Service was great: everyone was helpful, even when they weren’t my waitress. The décor was A1!!! I want my house to look like that! All in all, I felt dainty and lavish. I probably won’t come here often unless I get a pay raise because the bill did hurt me in my soul, but it was a pleasant birthday morning splurge. I’d probably do it again next year.

I got the mixed berry soufflé pancake, so pillowy and delicious. The whipped cream put this over the top! My husband got the French toast and said it was«really good» but he prefers it to be a little bit crispier. My only complaint was that they made us wait outside for a table on a fairly hot and humid day, but other than that, this place is a gem!

My most expensive pancakes ever for $ 16. I just hope that at least the syrup was real maple and not just a breakfast syrup. Freaky décor in this restaurant. I don’t feel it was worth the price. Service was ok, I had to ask twice for a straw but my husband got frequent coffee refills. He got his food approximately 5 minutes before me.

Definitely recommend this spot! The staff is very very professional, and although the menu might seem small they are experts in what they make. The place gives off a very home-y environment and you almost feel like you’re enjoying a less artificial Hawaii. Only complaint I have is the staff found it difficult to understand me but I’m sure if you speak Japanese you’ll do fine!

This place is like walking into a fairy castle complete with crystal and rosebud chandeliers, small wooden hobbit doors, fresh flowers on each table, and wrought iron seating. Cream pot is the CUTEST… the only explanation that comes to mind is as if Alice in Wonderland had tea with Snow White. It’s just so cute, so adorable, and they have a long communal wooden table to anchor the space. It is in Waikiki, but they validate parking in the hotel so you don’t have to worry about scrambling for the last free space along the Ala Wai. They have specials on a board as you walk in, along with their regular menu and flip book full of pictures of their food. Entrees range from $ 13 – 19. It’s very Japanese tourist friendly, as some of their waitresses are Japanese and their menu is also in Japanese. We got their soufflé pancakes – LIKEEATINGCLOUDS. SOFLUFFYANDLIGHT. They’re delicious. I would come here just for these because they’re so unique. Granted, they don’t give a lot of fresh fruit – I think we probably had about ten blueberries total, but they really are pillowy. They’re about the size of English muffins, but they have the consistency of a soufflé, light, fluffy, and perfectly soft. They’re delicious. We also tried their salmon benedict(I think the salmon was cured with some kind of liquor or lager) that came with crispy potato cakes instead of the traditional English muffin. The eggs were poached to perfection, and the potatoes were crispy and light. They do use mornay instead of hollandaise, which I think could have used more seasoning. I was looking for the salt and pepper, but found none. It also comes with a refreshing side salad of fancy greens and balsamic dressing. We also tried the beef stew omelette, which comes with a plain egg omelette(cooked perfectly) over rice, with a side salad. The eggs were perfectly cooked – so light and soft. The stew was cooked well also, the beef was tender, but the red wine was really strong. I don’t think they cooked all the alcohol out, and for this one too, I was looking for shoyu to add more seasoning. All in all, Cream Pot has amazing soufflé pancakes, and honestly these are the best cooked eggs on island. Their omelettes and poached eggs were perfect, and the atmosphere was so adorable. The only thing I could wish for would be salt, pepper, and shoyu on the table!

«OFFTHEWALL» EGGSBENEDICT! Was egg-cellent. A must try! Sweet, salty, and savory. I had a mouth-gasm . STRAWBERRYLEMONADE was also very delicious and refreshing. This is a Japanese style restaurant so the portions are smaller than normal. Very clean and cute little details. The staff is very respectful and friendly. Drinks came out quickly, but food took a while(around 35 – 40 mins) and there were only 4 tables seated. Overall, I would recommend this place to a friend and will be back for brunch. Maybe next time I’ll order an appetizer. Validated garage parking available.

The Cream Pot is my runaway girly breakfast spot. The room is airy with décor nods to the French country, filled with dainty knick-knacks, mural windows, and quaint Hobbit doors. The food is equally pretty, every table has their phone out taking pictures for a reason. Start with a savory option, I’d recommend the Baked Eggs for something unique. These take time to make, so order a Hot or Iced Coffee and settle in. The eggs are soft so the yokes blend into the creamy sauce with your choice of shrimp and spinach or bacon, onion and potatoes. They also have their own take on Eggs Benedicts. The Maguro features ahi sashimi, avocado, and rice cakes and pushes what you think a benedict should be. The Salmon is a more classic offering, featuring cured salmon and hash browns. As a special they also have an Omelette Rice with Burgundy Beef Stew – though the stew is a little sweet for my taste – and Savory Crepes with a mound of toppings like bacon, potato and onion, or chicken, spinach and mushroom on top of the crêpe. When you are half-way done with your savory, it’s time to put in your order for Soufflé Pancakes. Check the specials board if they have the clementine with lemon curd – you want this if they do! If not, you can’t go wrong with any of the other options. If you are lucky enough to be sharing and can order more than one dessert, also get a Sweet Crêpe, the bananas with salted caramel and the apple tatin are yummy. So get your group together and make breakfast plans. Service can be slow during peak hours, so go on a weekday or off peak if you can.

Stumbled upon the Cream Pot on our way to another breakfast stop. The restaurant was very busy. We sat outside and the service was very friendly and attentive. Impeccable service and décor. Great fun with innovative spins on traditional breakfast and brunch items. My daughter had the s’mores soufflé pancakes(awesome) my other daughter had the Keiki strawberry crêpe and they were both satisfied. My wife had the eggs Benedict and I had the beef stew omelette. Needless to say we are coming back!

This place was so yummy! It also looks so cute from the outaide. The service was great, we went around 10am and it was just the thing to have after a morning at Tripler. I had the strawberry beligan waffles and they were delicious, with a ton of strawberries. My husband had the salmon eggs benedict and he said it was the best salmon he has ever had. Mmm. Overall, if you like good food and want something less island-y, this is definitally the place÷

Absolutely wonderful little breakfast/brunch spot in Waikiki! We came here twice and both times we came everything was just awesome. The décor is very cutesy and may be most appealing towards women and children. It is definitely a family friendly environment and everyone alike will be fascinated by the gorgeous décor of the restaurant. I feel that the design of the place would be best described as «home, sweet home» because that is exactly what it looks like– a sweet little home, literally. Besides the lovely décor, the food and service are so on point despite how busy it gets as well. The staff are very curteous, friendly and smiley. They are a bit soft spoken but will quickly and happily fufill any request should you speak up and ask politely. I honestly can not think of a single thing to complain about. Major plus: they give you a picture menu along with the regular written menu! I love me some pictures haha Maybe one small gripe: there are no restrooms in the restaurant itself– you have to take the restroom key one floor up in the building. You can take the elevator or stairs, but its a quick skip and a hop and you’re there. Whenever I’m feeling like having a great brunch and a «mini vacay» I will definitely head to Waikiki from Aiea for Cream Pot! Mahalo!

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been here twice in the last week and id go every day if I could afford it. Last Sunday I got the fresh strawberry crepes that were filled with dark chocolate and vanilla custard and topped with tons of fresh sliced strawberries. Today I got the Classic crêpe which had bacon, potatoes, Maui sweet onions, and béchamel sauce. I prefer the sweet crêpe better because I felt the onions over powered the flavor of the savory crêpe. Both times I got their Vietnamese iced coffee which was very strong and very good. The whole place has an adorable French country theme going on with hard wood and wrought iron tables and chairs. They provide little baskets for women to put their purses in so they don’t have to sit on the floor which I think is a very thoughtful idea. The restaurant is airy and light and has an outdoor seating area. It’s surprisingly well priced for the Waikiki area and won’t break the bank. And there’s validated free parking in the building. I will totally be back for more!

Thank you Unilocal for helping us find this place on short notice. You can enter Crème pot from the hotel side or the corner from the street. The interior of the restaurant if very cute and homey feeling. The menu isn’t to crazy so it’s easier to decide and they give you a separate picture book of all the options. I had the stuffed French toast and it was super good, didn’t even need syrup. The vegetarian crêpe was super fresh and tasty. The soufflé pancake with mixed berries was awesome as well. Make sure to give the host or waitress your ticket if you parked in the garage because they validate.

First experience here at Cream Pot and it was a good one. A lovely restaurant open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch that a very charming appeal. First off the décor was fabulous. Enjoy the small boutique look you’d find in a ritz area or town. Gives a warm and authentic look that matches their good. So many options for food. Today I went for the Maguro Benedict despite many naysayers on Unilocal. This dish was fantastic. Excellent mixture of sweet, salty and of course textures. I am a huge fan of avocado and shiso so this was a no brainier in ordering for my first time here. I just wish there was more of the orange miso shoyu sauce. Like most benedicts it was difficult to get every bit for each bite; in fact my plate looked messy attempting to get a little of everything in each bite. The salad that accompanied the dish was a good contrast and the email provided a great take on a Benedict and was fresh, refreshing, and delicious. Definitely interested in returning with several people to taste some of their dishes. Looking forward to their soufflés and the salmon Benedict next time. The staff is great and they have multiple waiters who speak Japanese for guests. Even better is that they bring out pictures to showcase their dishes; no doubt for those who do not speak English or Japanese. But I always say it is just as important for food to look as good as it tastes. Prices are a little high but this is in the heart of Waikiki and at the hotel, so that being said I felt it was very reasonable. Parking is free with validation so just park in their lot. It’s the morning of the Great Honolulu Marathon. Woke up before the chickens at 3:30 am to drop my hubby off for the race. Well after having run 26.2 miles. the best reward for him was to head to Cream Pot!(Of course, I had been dreaming of their soufflé pancakes) I was thrilled to get a table right away!(surprising since they normally are so busy, you have to wait some time) and even nicer was that we were warmly greeted by the owner Nathan. We ordered the salmon omelette, banana and salted caramel soufflé pancakes, the strawberry soufflé pancakes, s’mores with banana’s and salted caramel pancakes, all of which we all thoroughly enjoyed! Every single bite! If you are in Waikiki, ‘Cream Pot’ is a MUSTSTOP!

Located in the Monarch hotel, this cute little breakfast place was something I wanted to try. The dining area is quaint and inviting. There are side tables that will seat 2 – 4 and one long table down the middle. The décor is lovely. Service was good. They would check on us frequently as far as refills and comfort. I ordered the premium island Benedict. Thick cut bacon, pineapple, poached egg and avocado were sitting pretty on a piece of toasted baguette. Very delicious and would order it again. Although their menu offered French rolled omelettes and soufflé pancakes. They looked very tempting! It was a bit pricey for breakfast but I think most things are in Hawaii. This was a great find!

I love the country style of this place. They really have it down. From the moment you enter thru a white wooden arch way you pass a colorful array of flowers. The mixed match tables, chairs, utensils. Just super cute! This place can get busy and is popular with the Japanese tourist so may need to wait about ½ an hour. The kitchen is upstairs, they bring the food down covered like room service. If you’re into traditional breakfast then this is not the place for you. They did not spare on creativity. They have flip-pics of each dish– a picture is a 1000 words… My daughter love the heart shaped cups with the heart design on her hot cocoa and my latte. We come here mainly for the soufflé pancakes. Allow 10 minutes for this dish, they make it fresh to order. Any preparation turns out great, they may be a little heavy on the syrups. Some of our favorites are the strawberries, bananas, salted caramel and rocky road. Around $ 16 great to share. The burgundy beef stew omelette $ 17 is a bit heavy strong tomato flavor. The creamed chicken with sautéed mushrooms is bland $ 13. The baked eggs and shrimp was over cooked $ 17. I aim to find a savory dish that I love as much as their soufflé pancakes.

This charming little café was a convenient 10 minute walk from our hotel in Waikiki & a great brunch choice for our last day on O’ahu. Luckily we decided to call ahead for reservations per Unilocal reviews, so our wait for a seat was only 5 minutes or so. That was just fine as it gave us time to enjoy the ample cheerful greenery outside! Five stars for the Maguro Eggs Benedict. The freshest ahi carpaccio over the most perfectly poached eggs of my life & those rice cakes! Perfectly seasoned & grilled little rice cakes. Five stars for the super kawaii atmosphere. Inside & outside. Like a scene out of your favorite childhood fairy tale. Three stars for the service, which was lacking towards the end of our meal. The check never came(we awkwardly went up to the counter without a check not knowing what the proper pay protocol was as we noticed some tables getting their checks & others like us… not) & waters were never refilled nor were we checked on during our meal. The Original French Rolled Omelet wasn’t especially memorable but my bf found it filling, which was a plus. Also, four stars for the prices, which were a little steep for the portion sizes but I suppose that’s a given for Waikiki. I’d probably return, but only for that amazing Maguro Eggs Benedict.

Very charming breakfast & brunch spot in Waikiki! A bit pricey, but our breakfast selection was heavenly and service was well deserving of 5 stars. Cream Pot is located right on the corner of the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel facing the Ala Wai Canal. Parking is conveniently located inside the structure(2nd driveway) and is $ 2/hour with validation from the restaurant. The interior is lovely. Probably not the first choice by a manly man, but definitely a top choice for a girly girl like me. The song«Chantilly Lace» played in my head as I looked through every nook and cranny spotting Cupid angels and kittens high above the decorative, heart shaped windows, crystal chandeliers, bistro tables with fluffy quilted seat cushions & heart-shaped backs, tall ceramic vases with hydrangeas, and an extremely long, beautiful wooden table as the centerpiece of their dining room. I’d say this would be the perfect spot for a tea party! Every item listed on the Today’s Specials board sounded divine. Then after flipping through their photo book menu, my tastebuds started revving up for the sweet and savory selections I’d soon make. I ordered a special called«Scrambled eggs w/Brie served with salad, gravlax(raw salmon cured with salt, sugar & dill), and 3 slices of French bread.» Everything about this plate made my eyes roll back. From the light vinaigrette dressing on the salad, to the soft scrambled egg with Brie topped with cracked pepper, it was most excellent at $ 18.50. It was great for sharing, too! The parking attendant highly recommended their crepes, so why not?! We decided to share the«Fresh Strawberries Crêpe» and it was oh so sweet(but not too sweet) and heavenly. It was filled with dark chocolate, homemade vanilla custard cream and strawberries. I mean, the photo itself speaks louder than words! The service was on point. From the moment we walked in, the Japanese couple(owners?) were great at checking up on us every so often. Our server, a young French man with a very dreamy accent, asked if it was our first time and thoroughly explained the menu. The busboys were on top of filling our water and coffee cups to the brim and even went around to fluff the seat pillows as they cleaned up the tables. I was impressed! The one thing that caught my eye(and the eye of my hubby who works in the food service industry) was the soiled chef’s coat and apron that the young Japanese female server was wearing. Please, please, please, just stay in the kitchen, or remove both when assisting customers in the prim and proper dining area. Not only was it an eye sore, it just isn’t sanitary or professional looking. I was surprised the owners didn’t say anything to her. If it weren’t for this mark, I’d max out on the stars. I’d definitely come back though! Eating here reminded me so much of when I lived in Japan(kawaii presentation all around). Great venue for a baby shower, wedding shower, or a simple meal with the ladies. But, don’t get me wrong. There were plenty of men dining when we were there. So, bring them too!

Cute inside and out but the food fell very short. My Hawaiian Bennedit on toast was two small hard cooked eggs a top two huge dry pieces of bread, bacon, avocado and a few pieces of diced pineapple with a table spoon of béchamel. So dry was this dish I had to ask for more béchamel and an ice tea to swallow it. His beef stew omelet was a better choice. Best choice yet would have been another place.

This was probably my favorite place to eat when I was on Oahu. Emi suggested we go for breakfast while we work and said Cream Pot was the place. We headed over and got ready to feast on breakfast. I was starving so I was pretty set on engorging on some good food. We were greeted with smiles from the host and the owner. Just walking in the door, I knew it was going to be enjoyable. I know that everyone wants to hear about the food, but I have to talk about the décor real quick. White and bright, chandeliers with sparkly diamonds and heart shaped windows. It reminded me of a place in a children’s book. Maybe Rapenzel would have brunch there with the other Disney princesses. Okay, okay… moving on. Those windows though! I immediately sent my husband a picture and told hime that I’d have to have these in my house someday! Food: Oh my. So Emi knew the menu and suggested a sweet and savory item-and we could split. Sounded perfect – until I saw the menu. Every flavor of breakfast delicacy was in the menu. Crepes, omelettes and French toast, oh my. We decided on soufflé pancakes with strawberries and salmon eggs Benedict. I wasn’t quite sold on seafood with my brekkie but knew that it’s good to stop out of my comfort zone. so let’s do it! The coffee was brewed perfectly and refilled often while we waited for our order. When the glorious moment came and the food arrived, I could almost hear the chorus of angels singing. Everything was presented perfectly and tasted even better than it looked. The pancakes were so light and fluffy. And back to that seafood – it was delicious in my omelette and next to my greens. Breakfast salad is something I’ve never had before. So ono. The server made sure that our experience was good, and that we were happy. We ended breakfast with a salted caramel banana malt. All in all, this place was pretty amazing and it deserves 5 shiny stars. I’ll be back Cream Pot!

Gonna give this place three stars only because my waiter was a complete blank out. This restaurant is located in the Hawaiian Monarch hotel it’s on the corner adjacent to Kalākaua. It’s super cute from outside to inside with little house on the prairie theme kinda thing going on. The restaurant inside is pretty spacious, I was expecting it to be smaller. There’s air conditioning, they validate parking, they take cards, and they make everything fresh(I think). I’ve waited YEARS to come to this random corner restaurant, and yet I’ve never gone until one sporadic mid-morning with my Bae to brunch. The food was well worth our expensive ass bill(in which he was trippin’ out on when we got it) LOL This place is kind of pricey(especially with the portion sizes being mediocre) we only ordered 5 things, three entrées, and two smoothies. We ordered the strawberry French toast(super good and pretty affordable I think it was $ 14) Shrimp Omelette with extra shrimp $ 16(they told us they normally don’t do that? Extra shrimp was $ 10, it was okay not worth $ 10 more though), and Strawberry soufflé pancakes with extra bananas $ 16 and I’m not sure how much for extra bananas(which was a cross bread between a whip cream texture and pancakes, it was pretty good). We also ordered two smoothies at $ 5.50 each, they were okay a little small for $ 5.50. The reviews are right in that you take a while to get your food, it even disclaims it on the menu that certain items take longer then others. So you’ve been warned, lol. My waiter was a complete blank out, I ordered the strawberry soufflé pancakes with extra bananas first and he didn’t even order that for me. He gave us the bill after we both finished the French toast and the shrimp omelette and I had to re-order it from him again, even though I told him that’s what I wanted from the very beginning. They also ran out of waffles by the time we got there at 11am, which is strange so that’s why my boo had to get French toast instead. Another strange thing was when I asked for extra shrimp in my shrimp omelette, the waiter told me that it would be hard for him to do that, and that he had to ask his manager. He then came back and said that he could but they normally don’t do that and it would be an additional $ 10, my boo was like what?! But I wanted the dang shrimp so that’s what I got. Anyways, I’m willing to give this place a second shot because it’s so darn cute. I wish they served mimosas, but oh well. lol

Cream Pot is one of my favourite spots in Waikiki! The décor transports you from the stuffy, hustle and bustle of Waikiki into a serene cottage, like something out of a Studio Ghibli movie. Think flowers, mix-matched candelabras, chalkboard with menu specials written on them… everything is so cute! Everything is plated beautifully, which makes it hard to resist stealing a bite of you neighbor’s food. They do have dishes that are always available, but they also offer daily specials or seasonal dishes made with fresh ingredients. I like returning to a restaurant several times and seeing new, exciting options. Creampot does not have its own parking, but the hotel building it is in validates parking in their garage. Using the restroom is kind of an adventure as you have to exit Creampot and go to the second level in the hotel, which is not air conditioned. If they did have their own parking and restroom it would be perfect, but that can’t be helped, it comes with the location– and honestly it’s pretty normal for Waikiki, so no stars have been docked. Excuse the array of photos, I decided to upload all of mine from over the years.(^0^)

Aloha, Mornings in Waikiki often begin with traffic and half spilled coffee, as we get to running around. When you do have the time for a breakfast or brunch where quality is more important and the presentation is photo worthy stop by the cream pot. The service is amazing, the staff know when to approach and when to reach for a glass that needs a refill, patient and neat is how I would describe the service. The food speaks for itself and although in the past I have had a experience where the eggs on my Benedict were cooler than I like them, this time the food was outstanding. What ever changes it is working well. If you haven’t tried the Cream Pot you are missing out. Ps parking is validated in the same structure, tell the guard you are here for breakfast and they will give you a ticket. Don’t loose the ticket as there is a 72 dollar fee for lost tickets ! Way more expensive than any breakfast we most I would say ! Enjoy

This is a pretty cute brunch place. I can see this type of place in Ktown in LA. The food is pretty good. My gf got the eggs benedict and I got the banana crêpe. The crêpe was good. All the food can get a little pricey though. The eggs benedict was almost 20 bucks. The service is good. It is located right next to the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel!

Now THIS is what I came to HI for. Lots of folks come for the beaches or for the sunshine. Heck, even I thought that’s what I was in Honolulu for. But as it turns out, I was here for breakfast at Cream Pot. If there’s one thing to do while you’re here, get a table at brunch time and then thank me later. The décor here is so inviting and homey. It’s like visiting a rustic little farm house in downtown Honolulu. I loved looking around the room and spotting cute decorations. Little touches go a long way here — they even use doilies as coasters for your beverages! I came here with a local friend and going by her suggestion, we each ordered a dish and shared. One savory, one sweet. This was a great idea because I had never heard of strawberry soufflé pancakes before but I still wanted to get something savory to balance the meal. The server was kind enough to get us extra plates to share and we split a salmon Benedict as well. Everything was made to order, came out fresh, and was plated beautifully! Almost to the point of not wanting to eat it and mess it up. The iced tea was refreshing, the portions of food were spot on and the prices were just right. Here you get a home-cooked meal from(what feels like) family. I knew we were in the right place too, because there was a line out the door late in the morning. Get here early or expect a bit of a friendly wait!
