Great every time the wife and I go and they now except credit cards. That was the only bummer before because I very rarely carry cash. Going there there now as a matter of fact :)

NOTE** They no longer sell Curry Fish Balls or certain desserts. On a random shopping trip to Target, me & the«Hubs» saw the blue Crawfish R Us food truck on the side of the store. HOO-RAH! Since I’ve never had the chance to experience eating Crawfish, I was super excited to finally get my hands on these little sea creatures. As we waited in line, I noticed the pricing for a combo plate(Shrimp & Crawfish) was $ 15. I’m first to admit that for the price I was being charged a) The food better blow-my-mind kine of worth it or b) same answer as A! So either way I was hesitant, but threw it all to the wind since it was for the cause of a Unilocal review. Sad to say I ordered the $ 17 Steak & Shrimp with spicy butter & oil Cajun sauce and the«Hubs» ordered the shrimp & Crawfish. Needless to say I was disappointed with my meal. The sauce was not flavorful, I tasted straight oil with the spices settling at the bottom. The shrimp tasted like plastic, while the steak was decent but could use some A sauce. As for the«Hubs» because he was starving he said his plate was good! But I secretly think it was stomach talking not his inner Unilocaler. lol So I stole a couple of bites and must say it didn’t fair any better. I was so dissatisfied with the food, I treated myself to some target flat bread sandwiches, which I know can never let me down. Now thats bad. Service: Meh, the guy sucked. He was impatient and took forever to order everyone’s food. We waited 15mins to order and another 15mins for our food. Also he bragged that he was the first person to do Crawfish Cajun food, but seriously that just made him look bad even worse when the food sucked. Parking: At this location with target conveniently there. Parking wasn’t a issue. Price: Ridiculous! For the price I paid I should at least get a salad!

Gave this food truck a try — not sure if he sells out of foods towards the late evening but we purchased dinner around 8pm. We were told he was out of many items so we said tell us what you do have. So we got fillet fish, shrimp, and crawfish that came with 2 scoops rice each, 2 small corn on the cob, & potatoes. The sauce was garlicky and spicy — yums. The fish fillet was too salty for me. But the crawfish was decent — you really can’t mess up crawfish. There were about 10 pieces of crawfish. Total price was about $ 17.

First impression, crawdads in a lunch wagon cool deal. looking over the menu on their lcd screen outside the truck. Ok.can i have the crawfish plate, steak plate,(no steak) ok what else do you have?(just crawfish and shrimp) uhhhh, didn’t you just open like 1hr ago? and you plan to stay here another 7hrs? (blank stare) hmm thats ok then… never mind. How can you have a place that sells food, and don’t have the product for sale? and just opened for the day? kind of a let down. my friend warned me about this happening. oh well.what should I do? call and make a take out order? It just baffles me on the operation of this business… Grrrrrrrr

So YUMMYONOLICIOUS!!! I was so excited when I saw this Blue Food Truck at ‘Eat the Street’ at Kapolei High School. I lived in Lousiana for 5 years and grown to love those Spicy Crustaceans. I enjoyed every bite. Thank you so much for bringing this to Hawaii. I know a lot of people don’t really know that is a Crawfish, but I know once they try it they won’t be disappointed.

I love food trucks. I love this food truck. Found it by Don Quixote parking garage at dinner time. Got the crawfish plate in butter and garlic — 10 crawfish, corn, potatoes, and rice for $ 10. Very, very good.

Yummm! Thank you Crawfish R Us for being at Eat the Street waipio tonight. I got to try crawfish for the first time ever… and it was drenched in garlic butter sauce, who could ask for more! What i liked: –they gave receipts with your order and gave you a number. No confusion on if my order was taken mistakenly by someone else. I love this. Especially at busy eat the streets. — they allowed half orders! — garlic butter sauce was yummy and very scampi-ish…delicious. –they gave us a pair of disposable gloves wiyh out order. Now thats customer service! –My half order was only $ 8 and had about 10 crawfish. It was really quite delicious. And definitely good bang for your buck. What i didnt like: –the crawfish seemed small. Although I have never before this eaten or seen a crawfish, i expected then to at least be as big if not bigger than kahuku prawns! That was slightly disappointing. Ill have to research more to see if our crawfish were standard in size. Overall, i would give this place a 4 stars for taste, customer service(i mean, really… who gives you gloves? Thats awesome), and price. Hope to try it again soon

SODAMNGOOD! I caught these guys when they were parked in front of Sport’s Authority. I grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi, and the only thing I miss about that hellhole was the crawfish. So of course, when I saw that there was a crawfish truck I had to try it. They have cooked crawfish by the pound, or you can get a plate lunch. The hubby and I opted for two Cajun flavored plate lunches(you can also choose garlic butter) and an order of crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were so wrong but so good! Crispy deep-fried wontons filled with crab and cheese, dipped in sweet and sour sauce(the sticky red kind from questionable Chinese restaurants). The plate lunches come with a lot of crawfish(half of the takeout container) and two scoops of rice. The cajun-style crawfish we ordered had potatoes and corn cob-lets mixed in, too. The spices they use to boil the crawfish is super ono! The potatoes and corn are also boiled in this sauce so everything is spicy and delicious. I could make a meal out of just that sauce poured on rice. For those who are worried about getting your hands messy(or don’t want your hands to smell like crawfish), the guys give you plastic disposable gloves with your order! The food is good enough to get five stars, BUT I had to take one off because some of my crawfish were dirty on the outside, like they didn’t get washed well beforehand. Also, some of them had really full digestive tracts, which made the crawfish taste really muddy.(This can be avoided by keeping the live crawfish in fresh water for a few days so they expel all the stuff in the digestive tract.) However, most of them were clean and yummy.

I had to give a 5 star because it’s the best crawfish I’ve had on Honolulu. the sauce is a bit on the salty side but if you just eat the meat it’s perfect. if you like to suck on the shell, then you’ll get hit with a mouth full of salt. it was $ 15 for 1 pound, but they hooked me up with free potatoes and corns. I would eat here again.

Was in Kakaako yesterday around the John Burns School of Medicine. It was close to 5PM so I was really surprised when I saw a food truck that I have never seen parked there. As I passed by, I realized it WAS new and they’re selling crawfish! Always excites me to see something that is not common to get here so I just had to park my car and go take a look at their offerings. Turns out, it was their first day and they were having $ 1 specials on EVERYTHING! $ 1 for 4oz crawfish with your choice of cajun style, garlic butter style or salt and pepper style(they were out of this) $ 1 for steak $ 1 for their curry fishballs. I can’t really complain for $ 1 dishes and hence the 4 star, this review is solely based on this experience and the amazing value. The cajun spice was good, a bit salty for my taste. The cajun taste was there but it was unfortunately overpowered by the saltiness of it, but like i said they’re new, so benefit of the doubt and taste testiing phase still in effect. Garlic butter was good, it was not too oily nor to garlicy, I think this was done perfectly. Curry fish ball had a good sauce, but again, a bit too salty for my taste, maybe my tongue was working overtime yesterday, or i dipped too much sauce inside? maybe better having the sauce on the side? Overall, great concept! I’m not sure what the real prices of the dishes are going to be when they are in 100% in-business mode. For now, I’m just happy I got to eat crawfish… something I haven’t had in a LOOONG time!
