Cool Tech

My battery died on my car. I called Steve at cool Tech, and he ordered a battery and told me to come in. Half an hour after I came in the battery was in, and he called me to let me know all was OK. I highly recommend this company!

Same great mechanics and same great service as always. My job moved further from town so I had stopped going here for awhile but I am definitely back because the drive is worth it. Steve and Simon are so honest, reliable, helpful and personable. They are 100% trustworthy unlike other places I have experienced in the past. You will never feel tricked or like you are being sold when you deal with Steve and Simon. I also love that they handle the front-​of-​house themselves so you get immediate access to them every time you call. A++++ recommended as always.

I bought a car on Craigslist that broke down twice in the first two weeks and Steve and Simon got it back up and reliable for a reasonable price. They were also super friendly and even offered me a ride to work the second time I had to get it towed in for a broken radiator hose. Definitely more than A/​C!

If you have ANY problems with your A/​C system, these are the guys to see. They can also do general repairs and service if need be. Both are very friendly and very helpful. I refer all my friends and family to them.

These guys are amazing. Super nice, very knowledgeable, and able to answer all my questions. I have been going here for years, and have always had an enjoyable experience. Services aren’t limited to just AC, they can do much more if you just ask. I’ve done Oil changes and car inspections here in the past. Definitely recommend, best auto shop I’ve been to.

Awesome… can’t say enough great things about these guys! I am so pleased I had taken my car here for A/​C service. Simon and Steven were very informative, even though I didn’t want to hear that my A/​C compressor went out. I was hoping more for a simple problem, like a basic recharge or more coolant needed. Of course that wasn’t the case… I needed a new compressor. They were very honest which put me so much at ease since I’m always a little hesitant about going to new mechanics (I’ve come across bad wolves before who take advantage because I am a female). They weren’t pushy at all and let me think about the recommendation before deciding to place the order for the part. That shows someone, a business, who is not desperate for work; and I can see why these guys are not desperate for work… people must be breaking doors down to take their car here. I was so happy with the overall experience. I took my car in on a Wednesday, they ordered the part on Thursday morning, and I brought my car in that Saturday… FAST and EFFICIENT! Problem fixed in less than a week… awesome!
Besides the great service which always stands out the most, here are other great points about these guys that made the experience even that much better and worthy of a max-​star rating…

Very satisfied customer! Called in the morning and was able to make an appointment on a Friday afternoon of the same day. I replaced the AC compressor in my 2004 Vw Jetta and just needed the evac and recharge. The guys were very helpful in making sure I used the correct PAG oil in the compressor. I showed up, gave them the keys and went to they gym for an hour. Came back and the car was complete. He also did a pressure check before to ensure no leaks and the price was competitive to others that I called. I’ll be recommending them to friends in need!

Amazing Service! I called at 5pm the day before and asked if they could work on my jeep the next day (Friday) uncle Simon said sure! Bring it in! I got there late around 1030. I am a bit car savy, so I knew the compressor was bad on my jeep, as well as a hose. Uncle simon said he would have it done by 5pm. Perfect because I was pau Hana at that time! He fibbed, it was done at 4pm! And for $ 400+ less than what I was quoted at 2 other places!
When I pulled in I was worried because there was a BMW suv, porshe suv, and a very nice Mercedes inside. I half joked about my jeep making these cars look good. Uncle Simon just replied «these owners been coming here many years, they not always have these nice cars!»
The place is owned by the two guys working there. Super nice guys! The parts they used were OEM. Did I mention that they had amazing service!!!
I made mistake of not checking Unilocal first, I would have had no worries!

I was recommended here by my friend that works at Toyota. He recommended me to simon. They did work on my tacoma. This place is very good and knowledgeable. I went in and they needed about a hour to run some test and see what exactly was wrong. After I found out what was wrong I made an appointment a few days later and dropped my truck off. (it was a one day job) when I picked it up the following day it worked excellent it was nice and cold. He showed me exactly what was wrong on the old parts and explained how it works and what he changed. Overall service was great. I would definitely refer my family and friends to cool tech.

I’m so glad I discovered Cool Tech. This place is so awesome. The service is great and so is the price. This used to be my when-​all-​other-​place-​fails-​go-​here-​place, but now it’s my to-​go place for everything car related. Don’t be fooled… just because their name is Cool Tech, they don’t only do air cons in cars. They do battery, oil, and everything else too. Just call and ask!

Uncle Simon is super awesome and really nice! He can definitely help you with your car’s AC problems like my 03′ Toyota Matrix. A body shop couldn’t figure it out and a couple of other places didn’t know why my AC wasn’t working. But just bringing it in for a couple of hours, the team at Cool Tech was able to figure everything out. They were professional and very honest with their prices. They worked quick and returned calls, answered questions, and definitely got my car back to me as fast as they could.
If my car had any more troubles I would definitely bring it back to them again.
Plus I saw a lot of expensive new and antique cars in there, so they’re trusted to work on those cars, I knew they could handle my beat up daily driver :)
