Established in 2001.

Comspec has professional technicians and engineers to service your computer and networking needs. Our business was founded in 2001 to provide network engineering to local telephone carriers. Since then, we have steadily added additional capabilities as our customer needs have grown. We now provide IT services, GPS Vehicle Tracking, and hotel telephones in addition to telecom engineering. Our customers range from one person shops, to small offices, to medical clinics, to global corporations.

My first job out of college was working at the old Software Plus computer store on Keeaumoku and Young St. in Honolulu. This was in it’s heyday before the invasion of big national chains like Computer City, CompUSA, and Circuit City. These were great times as I was able to help a lot of customers, made some lifelong friends, and even met my wife. Back then, we built custom computers and sold software off the shelf in large boxes containing manuals and floppy disks. My how times have changed! We still build custom computers when the need is there but we also use a lot of technologies that weren’t available back then. It is so much fun exploring new tech and applying them to customer needs that I hope to be doing it for a long time to come.
