Not that great… had the mahimahi fish tacos which were dry and like chunks of fish sticks put inside a tortilla. The side for this dish was tortilla chips and salsa… they should have tried black beans and cilantro rice. They also cheddar cheese on the taco which killed it…

I got the island burger with pineapple and teriyaki sauce. It was really good, and the service was super friendly. I’d recommend it for sure.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Came here for breakfast today and the food was great! Keyth was my server and he was very friendly, which made the experience extra special! Highly recommend for all tourists and locals! I’d definitely want to come back and try their lunch/dinner!

First of all, our server, Samuel, was amazing. Excellent customer service. He made amazing recommendations for both food and drink. We were very pleased with our entire meal. I am surprised this place only had a 3 star rating.

The most affordable breakfast in Waikiki without compromising quality! When over almost every day. It’s on the second floor, seating outside is the Best but they also have some cool Hawaiian decorations inside. Staff works at Hawaiian speed but other tab that friendly.

This place has a fun, island atmosphere and good food. We are here for lunch on New Year’s Day. It wasn’t too busy and we got seated right away. We were seated in a booth with the sun beating on us. The restaurant is open to the lanai and you can be seated out there. We asked to be reseated into a shady area and they quickly accommodated us. The service was good overall, just a little slow given that they weren’t very busy. I had the coconut shrimp and fries. The shrimp was great and the mango chutney to dip them in was great. The fries were good as far a fries go, they were just a little odd of a pairing with the shrimp. Would definitely come here again.

Find this location on the 2nd floor Lewers St beach walk. The burgers were good. The Pina Colada was delish. It was expensive, but most stuff in Waikiki is spendy. Enjoy this little Hawaiian themed gem.

This is a pretty nice chill place. The food is great and the nice breeze adds to it. I am a vegetarian and i was able to find something that tasted great. I got the black bean patty on the Hawaiian style sandwich instead of the chicken. Very good choice!

I came here last Sunday for brunch with the boys. It was pretty empty when we arrived but it didn’t matter to us as we really wanted to watch football. We sat close to the bar where the TVs were. The server there was nice and changed the channel for us to the games that we wanted. He was quick to take our order and take pictures for us. I ordered the cheese burger scramble(I think that’s what it was called). It was pretty filling and I couldn’t finish all of it. The items were reasonably priced and I got more than enough. One of the guys on the other hand, was still hungry but he’s just used to eating a big breakfast. This place might not have the NFL package because we weren’t able to watch some of the games here.

Woke up hella late and wanted breakfast at noon. Breakfast closed but the kitchen made an exception for us. Score. Must be cuz it’s a Sunday. The set up here is kinda weird. It’s hard to tell if you should seat yourself and let them come to you but there’s no real place to wait. Our fruit plate came out first. Had all the fruits I don’t particularly care for… grapes, melon, pineapple. Eh whatever, I didn’t order it. Tasted alright but definitely not fresh or juicy. Then the main entrees came. It was our last breakfast in Hawaii so we made it count. Macadamia pancake and Cheeseburger Omelet. The pancake was pretty tasty but you couldn’t taste the macadamia in the batter. They had some sprinkled on top. The omelet though, came with a ton of hash browns on top of two pieces of sweet bread and a pineapple slice for good measure. They even went easy on the grease like I asked them. And there was a little umbrella in the toast, aw. Easily the best breakfast I’ve had the whole trip. And that cheeseburger at their other location was for sure the best dinner. This place really deserves better ratings but I guess people like hating on chains. Waiter service was alright I guess. The food made up for it. Bonus: they have the menu in different languages. Not sure if all restaurants here do but they should.

Maybe tourists are too lazy to come up on the second floor. I didn’t see a lot of diners here. It seems like a nice bar to hang out too. And they still have the Hawaiian theme so you can order any tropical drink you want. The burger I had was pretty decent too. Plenty of tv’s everywhere and outdoor seating as well. They warn you about the dessert too… it’s good for 2 people and dining by myself took me awhile to finish the ice cream cake. It was pretty darn good. I would come back just for the dessert. They also have military discount.

Loved this place! Had the Burger of the Month(which included grilled apples and bacon — mouth waters) and the wife had the Ahi Salad. Blackened outside and punk inside. Absolutely incredible. Great service as well. Just enjoy it.

Came here one rainy Saturday night after walking around with friends and most of the other restaurants in the area had waits. Was pleasantly surprised. Im doing a low-carb thing, so ordered the BBQ bacon burger with no bread. They were happy to accommodate my request. Probably the best burger I’ve had on the island. It was so flavorful and delicious. The BBQ sauce was incredible and the bacon was perfectly crispy. I also ordered a fried egg on top. It was absolutely delicious. Instead of fries, I ordered a side salad. Was disappointed that it came with ice burg lettuce, romaine or greens would have been better but at least the tomatoes were fresh. Service was good and my friends really liked their burgers too. I really enjoyed it and didn’t even expect this«last resort» meal to be so yummy. I will definitely be back.

I ended up here with some of my Unilocal buddies after leaving a nearby event. The location is what sealed it for us. And the hunger we were all feeling. The restaurant wasn’t too busy. The outside tables were full, but inside was half-full. Our party of 6 was able to be seated immediately. We had a couple of tables right behind the host/hostess station. It was close to the bathrooms, but I had a great view of the TV. The place was clean and our server came out and greeted us soon after we sat down. As we perused the menu, we realized that although we were hungry, maybe we weren’t AS hungry as we all thought. As we checked out the menu, our server alerted us to the fact that it was Happy Hour! Happy hour that starts at 9pm? Hey, who cares! I got a $ 5 piña colada and a basket of fries for the table to share.(The basket of fries was touted to be large enough for the whole table to share. Challenge accepted.) Our server was a little strange. It’s like he went between rude, condescending to happy, accommodating. We went back and forth trying to figure out if we liked him or he liked us. It was weird. Food and drinks showed up. The piña colada was really icy. I had a good couple of gulps through the straw and everything else was frozen. The fries did live up to it’s reputation. It did feed all of us. And no, we weren’t skimping on our shares. When it came time to deliver the check, our server asked if we were local so he could give us the kamaaina discount.(So, we like him again.) We stayed there until about 10pm just chatting, but no one bothered us at all. The manager did come by to welcome us and chat, but it was nice to be acknowledged. This was a pretty cool place to just hang out, eat, and rest. Affordable good fries. Attentive server. Definitely will come back to try the rest of the menu when in Waikiki.

Overall a good burger joint especially in this area if you are staying at one of the many major hotels near by. Friendly staff and fairly fast order to table. I really enjoyed the Island burger and sweet potato fries.

Great service, decent burgers, garbage onion rings. Just stopped by Cheeseburger Beachwalk because, well… I’m a burger guy at heart. And burger joints are all over the place here in Honolulu. Had the standard«Cheeseburger with an Attitude» and it was actually one of the better burgers I’ve had recently. Standard onions, lettuce, tomato, with 1k island, but it was nice and seared on the outside and on a nice bun that did a great job of sopping up all the juices. The onion rings on the side, however, were completely tasteless. I ended up dousing them in ketchup so that my mouth could tell I was chewing something other than crunchy air. Unlike other reviews, I had no qualms with the service. Quite the opposite, actually. Despite the fact that I require almost no attention when dining, my server was highly attentive. She even suggested that she put extra drink orders in for me before happy hour was over(in five minutes), to which I graciously accepted. Half price mai-tais, yo. All-in-all, negative points for the o-rings, but bonus points for the excellent service.

Family was up for burgers in Waikiki so we gave these folks a try. Fries were average and the burger was better than expected but it tended to fall apart; understand the fixin’s might get a bit sloppy but would expect the burger to hold its form.

Not a fan. Although I did like the little toothpick umbrellas that decorated my food. I came here with my family for a really early dinner/really late lunch, so it was incredibly empty. We decided to eat here because of its close proximity to our hotel. The décor is nice and the restaurant is clean overall; however, the food is pricey and it’s not even that great. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly and her perfume was overwhelmingly strong. It took a really long time for a food to arrive. Another family member and I had to wait extra long for our food to come out while everyone else had already received theirs. My family ordered the Cheeseburger Island Style, Kalua Pig Sandwich, Hawaiian Style Chicken Sandwich, and the Kalua Pig Plate. The cheeseburger was pretty good but other than the big bun, it didn’t taste much different than a cheeseburger at any other restaurant. The kalua pig sandwich was pretty salty but again wasn’t much different than a pulled pork sandwich at another restaurant. I do have to say that the hawaiian style chicken sandwich was pretty good. The chicken was pretty juicy and the sandwich had a lot of taste without being too salty. I ordered the kalua pig plate. It was definitely a really large portion of food which was great. However, I wish there more pork or something else to eat with the gigantic, heaping mound of rice. Like the sandwich, the pork was incredibly salty. However, the macaroni salad was pretty tasty. It was creamy and had a unique flavor to it. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the price we paid. It didn’t taste spectacular and the service didn’t make up for it either.

We decided to come here because Moose’s stopped serving food at 10pm. Waitress was pretty friendly but the view outside was phenomenal! It is a pretty touristy spot, but it was almost empty when we decided to eat here. We went for appetizers and drinks and it was delicious!!! We got the Ahi tuna and the cheese fries and every bite was pure goodness. Definitely will be coming back here again and again!
