History

Established in 2004.

The seeds of the Brian Roberts Guitar Academy were sown in 2004 when a young Brian was conscripted by his classmates in high school to provide guitar instruction to his eager-​to-​learn peers. After moving to Seattle in 2008 he continued to teach in the Northwest and upon returning to Hawaii in 2012 he continued to provide instruction to those interested in his unique style of teaching.

Business Owner

Brian Roberts is an American guitarist, composer, and songwriter. He lives a migratory life between his home state of Hawai’i and that of the West Coast. He can be found playing music, forming bands, taking on students and learning new things wherever he finds himself. Since 2004, he has been musically active and one day hopes to become a world-​class musician and establish a group of like-​minded musicians to tour the world. Currently Brian primarily works for up and coming Hawaiian singer-​songwriter Shar Carillo as her lead guitarist, as well as the local metal act Leviathan and resides in Honolulu.
