Looking forward to the basketball game and got to the Stadium early. When asked for a place to eat the L&L was recommended. Food was good but apparently they were short of staff the chef was cooking, taking money, taking orders and was overwhelmed. He did as well as anyone could under those circumstances. I have the garlic mahi and it was very good. I was surprised and how good it was given the circumstances. Eventually the cashier showed up and I think things got back to normal.

Was pleasantly surprised by their cheesebuger. It was ooey and gooey greasy deliciousness. Extremely satisfying, especially because the double cheeseburger was only $ 4. No veggies in it though(tomatos, lettuce). Had their mahi burger before, but that one requires less greasiness for me to enjoy it more. Again, no condiments which would have been nice to break through the fish flavors. But again, reasonable price. Takes card. Busy and hot during peak student eating hours. Lots of seating, but again, the A/C has been out for some reason.

Greasy day old, maybe 2 days old food… EEEEEEWWWWWWW! Nasty nasty food… What was it? I hope it was chicken…(chicken?) I felt sick after.

Tip: Make the effort to walk down here from upper campus. It’s where the old«Aja» used to be. Overall Impression: One of the BEST L&L’s on Oahu and a great place for lunch on Campus. Very«mom & pop-like.» Although it’s a bit of a walk from the main UH Manoa campus, it’s completely worth it knowing that you won’t get food poisoning. Need a coffee fix? This L&L offers a wide variety of freshly prepared coffees(great for all the office staff down at lower campus). If coffee isn’t your thing, they even have hot chocolate. Recommended Foods: Kalua Pork w/Cabbage Chicken Katsu Cheeseburger Any Breakfast Item Recommended Beverages: Espresso Mocha Coffee(Black) Hot Chocolate Service: The cashier who takes your order is always cheerful. She even calls you when your food is ready(no worries about someone else taking your order here). If you’re a repeat customer, they’ll greet you by name(just so long as you introduce yourself at some point).
