Brandon Lau is definitely the BEST realtor we have worked with! He was patient, easy to talk to, thorough and provided outstanding service, from beginning to end. August will make 6 yrs since we moved into our first home and we still keep in contact with him.

I used Brandon to purchase an apartment. He was easily accessible, easy to work with, and kept me informed every step of the way, and when I had questions, he got back to me with the answers. We closed on time everything went smoothly. The closing was less than 30 days. I would definitely use him again!

When I needed to sell my parents’ home, I called Brandon Lau. I met Brandon many years ago through various friends and events and knew that if I ever needed a realtor, Brandon would be it. What I didn’t realize was the service and professionalism I would receive. There are three reasons why I would recommend Brandon.
First is the level of SERVICE. When Brandon and I first met at my parents’ home, he looked it over, saw things I never noticed, asked questions I never thought about, and gave me suggestions on how to move forward. My father had a reverse mortgage on the property and I didn’t know how, nor want to deal with the mortgage company because I know how persistent they are in wanting to collect; Brandon communicated with them on my behalf. He also has a deep list of contacts: appraisers, lawn care, repairmen… if it has anything to do with a home, he knows someone. Brandon kept me informed every step of the way and gave me options whenever I needed to make a decision. When it came time for the Open House, he had a marketing strategy that ensured maximum viewing from realtors, neighbors and potential buyers. In the midst of servicing my transaction, Brandon was named 2012 Prudential Locations Salesperson of the Year & Agent with Most Transactions.
Second is the COMPANY he works for/​is associated with. Brandon owns Choice Home Hawaii but is able to tap into the resources of Prudential Locations. There are two reasons why I appreciate Prudential. First was the number of offices. Whenever I needed to sign documents, I could go to either the Diamond Head office which was near my parents’ home or to their Pearlridge office which was near my home. Second was their web-​based activity log called Transaction Point. There was no need to continually call or email Brandon to ask about the status of the sale. I could log-​on to Transaction Point and see exactly which activities were completed (i.e. signing of certain documents, inspection of home) and which were still pending. Third is the HIGH LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE/​LACK OF STRESS I experienced. I think this was the most important benefit of all. The sale of the home could have potentially been a very stressful situation. There are many things that can’t be controlled: who sees the home, who buys the home, the realtor that represents the buyer, and the amendments the buyer wants in the contract. Brandon went to bat for me. I know there were things that Brandon protected me from: conversations with the reverse mortgage company, dealing with two different realtors when one potential buyer fell through but another presented an offer, and navigating the multiple requests from the title company. Through the whole process I consistently felt confident that Brandon was making the right decisions on my behalf.
