4 stars for the food; in particular, the Brazilian rock lobster, and clam platters. Customer service wasn’t all that great.

This food is awesome! Whole family enjoyed it. I had the pick two combination… Poke and sirloin, my wife had salmon and shrimp, and my son had grilled salmon. Worth it.

Great little place to grab lunch or dinner. Unfortunately going too late in the day can result in running out of certain things such as crab and lobster. Other than that, not a bad place at all. Seating can be a bit difficult as well during busy hours, but what can you expect? Definitely recommend.

Ate here twice for lunch during a conference at the Hale Koa. Very reasonably priced. I had fish tacos and a drink then the poke and a drink both for under $ 20 with a tip. Fresh and great quality food. Good pricing compared to the other options in the area. Friendly service, open air seating. Very enjoyable overall

I ate here twice during a 3-night stay in the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Best meals we had in-resort. The first meal was a poke bowl. I had just arrived and was starving. The nice young lady who took my order recommended it when I said I wanted something quick. She also brought it to my table and told me she made it herself to get it to me quickly. That kind of service was what made me suggest we eat there again. The poke bowl was my first taste of poke and it was delicious. Just simple and refreshing. The pieces were a bit large and I cut them up — also to enjoy it as much as possible and not scarf it down. The second time, I had the fish tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them. It wasn’t fine dining and the place was tucked away without much seating but it was good food and great service. Also, not as expensive as other places in the resort.

The food was very tasty. The employees were friendly and vey nice. We have eaten on property several times in our multiple stays here and never even saw this place. Our mistake. Lol. The quantity served kept us full for quite some time. The only downfall was there were numerous birds who wanted our attention. Hey, but what did we expect? We’re on an island. Overall, it was a great food experience!!! T

Very nice little seafood restaurant. There are about 10 tables. I chose the meal from the pictures on the wall and find the table, the staff will bring the foods to your table. The icy water with lemon is for free, others need to be paid. I ordered pink snappers, clam and ahi poke, total cost about $ 50. The meals are so tasty, and the portion is just right. I will definitely come back.

We tried this place because it was our first night at the Hilton Hawaiian village and we didn’t feel like driving anywhere. The food was ok. not spectacular and the price was higher than I wanted to pay, but I guess its good and convenient.

I was hesitant trying this place because it was a little more pricey,(15 – 20 dollars on average) per plate. However, I was really happy that we did stop here. I got the garlic shrimp and steak platter, it was delicious. The shrimp was really well cooked with great seasoning and garlic sauce. The steak was pretty good. I liked the seasoning, it was well cooked but a little more fatty than I would have liked. The portioning for the food was more than I expected. Large portions, which was way I would totally recommend this for a great dinner. If you want lunch and are starving, this place is great.

Food = 5 stars you get a decent amount of food and eye pleasing and palate pleasing presentation without paying $$$. Service = room to improve with cashier. Out of respect for her I won’t use her name; I won’t stoop to that level. During our visit in December 2015, she yelled at my spouse and another elder gentleman who both misread the price for pineapples; the sign was misplaced. Not a big deal could have just take 1 minute of this young lady’s time to look into it. Instead she disdainfully stated they are reading it wrong and«do you want to buy or not». The man didn’t have enough cash so he walked away but my husband wanted to purchase and yes he was willing to pay extra to have it cut up. **don’t mistreat your customers, especially when they aren’t trying to trick you and you ARE representing the business that is paying your salary**. thanks owner/chef Gilbert for offering $ 100 in gift certificate that we declined to accept. All we wanted for you to do is speak with your staff and continue to provide us good food and reasons to return. Customers do not have rights to be nasty and especially vice versa. We do have the rights to demand to be treated with kindness and respect.

In a nutshell — food was good, prices are a steal and I will eat here again. The bellhop recommended this place when delivering our luggage so off we went for dinner. It’s one of those spots where you order at the counter, get a sign and look for a table. I chose the 2 item combo with mahi mahi and steak with no rice for $ 19. I also got a loco moco for my 2 boys to share for $ 15. I was pleasantly surprised when we got our food. Steak was medium just as I had asked and the fish was moist with a really yummy sauce. My boys’ loco moco was plenty to share and they enjoyed it. Sometimes I find loco mocos to be rather bland but this one was pretty flavorful. It was also a ton of food and I ended up taking our leftovers to go.

it is a nice place. there are not a lot of seats though. Since we were not too hungry, we order a pick two combination with calamari steak and sirloin. They were great. We took out and ate at the seaside. beautiful scenery and nice breeze. people walking by kept stopped and asked me where we got the food. Definitely will visit this lace quite often while staying at the Hilton village.

Yum! The plates here are quite tasty. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp plate(6 pcs). It came with 2 scoops of rice(brown/white), salad, and pineapple. My friend got the steak and shrimp plate. That night’s app special were mushrooms and garlic bread. It was so yummy! We got in before the rush, which this place happens to get pretty busy. We got our food probably in 10 – 15 minutes, but we kept ourselves busy with a bottle of wine we picked up at the ABC nearby. Like many places, you can BYOB here.

Great little place in the Hilton Village to grab some good spicy shrimp. Hubby & I split a combo plate and were shocked at the amount of food. Prices were reasonable and the service was really good. Everyone was pleasant and didn’t have any issues with my questions.

The wait can be a bit long, especially if you hit them during peak hours, but it is totally worth the wait! The restaurant? market? itself is kind of hidden deep in the village, but it is hard to miss because there will most likely be a long line! Just an FYI, the dining area is all self-seating, so it can be kind of a mess. If you have a larger party, have someone scout out seats while others stand in line to order. Otherwise, you can always take it to go and enjoy your meal on the beach or in the comfort of your hotel room. :) If you decide to dine in, they give you a place card and bring the food out to you and bus the tables after the meal. This was our second dinner of the night, so we ordered only two platters for the four of us. It was plenty! My sister ordered the calamari steak platter with lemon caper sauce(fantastic, highly recommended!) and the green salad on the side, while I ordered the 9 piece garlic shrimp platter with the potato salad(yum!!!). You also get your choice of white or brown rice. The food was delicious! I ended up eating more of the calamari steak than the shrimp, only because peeling the shrimp was a pain and required me to get my hands dirty, while the calamari steak was just so tender and perfectly breaded! I also really enjoyed the potato salad, and would have had more of it if my dad hadn’t cleared it all off the plate so quickly! Definitely a must-try in the Hilton Village. It is also one of the few places in the resort where you can get a big bang for your buck! Stop by, you won’t regret it. :)

The Good– The employees seemed nice. Pretty quick service. Plate presentation is good looking. Really inexpensive juices!($ 1.00, very worth it just to stop and grab a juice) The Bad– Garlic Shrimp really didn’t have a real strong garlic taste. And even the medium spicy wasn’t all that spicy. The Hawaiian Ahi Tuna Poke tasted pretty good, but so far, I have had better. The corn was undercooked, or at least both my wife and I thought so. Everything, other than the juice, seemed pretty expensive. Overall, the question is, do I feel like what I got was worth the amount I paid(?). And to be honest, I felt like I got better Garlic Shrimp and Poke at a happy hour(see: Odori-Ko) for half the price. But, if you don’t want to go too far, this just might satisfy your craving.

We are just visiting the island and had a party of 11 all with different ideas and types of food wanted. We settled on this place and it was great. After we asked if they could set 11 of us together(they said no problem and sat us immediately @5:45pm) we then ask if we could bring in a pizza from next door for the kids? You guessed it «no problem» was the answer, so we did. We all ordered at the counter and after a short wait we had our beautiful food before us. Each one of us had something different so we were able to see quite a bit of the menu. I had the Ahi salad(fish cooked perfectly on the rear side). My nephew had the shrimp tacos, niece was the claims(she shared a few with me, yum!). I could go on and on but the short story is everything looked great and was very fresh and local looking. My dish tasted great. All the plates were large portions and were priced well for what you got and where you were(downtown Waikiki and in the Hilton shopping center) average price was about $ 17. All 11 of us left happy and full. Very pleased with our choice to eat hear. I would come back!

We were at the Mandara Spa and wanted to grab a bite to eat that was within walking distance. Although it wasn’t recommended by the spa staff, we had to try this place after I read the reviews. First off, it’s a little hard to find. We didn’t mind that it was a casual, plate lunch spot. We’re used to that! My husband ordered the 9-piece medium spicy garlic shrimp($ 18). I got a combination plate with mild garlic shrimp and sirloin steak($ 19). I was really bummed that they were out of guava BBQ shrimp. We also shared the ahi poke($ 12). I had a moment of sticker shock when I saw my husband pay $ 55! But, then again, it is Waikiki. The ahi poke tasted super fresh and was perfectly seasoned. It was the ahi shoyu poke style. Winnahs. The plates were very big, but the portions were just right. It came with two scoops of brown or white rice and tossed greens or potato salad. Plates also had a small corn on the cob. I guess we were also paying for nice garnishes, as there were orchids, pineapple slices & ti leaves on the plate. One of our two scoops of rice had a light sprinkling of furikake. The shrimp was okay, my husband really liked his, so maybe the spice helps. Let’s just say I still prefer Giovanni’s. I always orders steak medium rare, which usually means pink throughout. The sirloin was unevenly cooked. Some pieces were so raw they bled. Definitely not tender(more like chewy), but also well-seasoned. There was also huge chunks of fat on the meat. Next time, I’ll just go to Times for a steak plate. Overall, it was nice to hang out at the hotel property. I didn’t mind that it was casual. For the price, however, I expected a bit more. My husband left very content, though! Next time, I may just try the guava BBQ chicken.

I try my hardest to save money by not eating out for lunch at work, but once in awhile… you just gotta treat yo self. ;) When I’m looking for a hot meal that I can be happy with myself about, I go to Blue Water. They have an awesome variety of things on their menu from grilled plate lunches, sandwiches/burgers, to taco platters! Definitely a little pricey(which I’m sure is due to location), but their portions are very generous and food is very tasty! I’ve tried almost everything there, haha! I’d say, to get the most bang for your buck, order a combination plate. I personally like the guava chicken and grilled mahi mahi. The guava chicken has a great mango salsa and the mahi mahi has a light sauce that covers it. If you order the green salad it’s nice and refreshing, with shaved spirals of carrot and beets! Definitely a great choice for a meal of you happen to be at the Hilton. :)

Blue Water is hard to find in the massive Hilton Village. Just hang a corner around a small walkway that looks like it leads to a bathroom. The pick-two combination is a pretty good portion if you’re starving like I was. Any steak is good steak, and the lightly breaded Calamari Steak channeled the best box of shake n’ bake. The Garlic Shrimp sends in the stinky heat. Don’t come for the sides, but the seafood makes a strong showing.

This place has to be one of the best places I’ve eaten anywhere. The food is amazingly fresh and delicious. This place needs one of those award winning plaques. I was doing my early morning walk exploration in the Hilton plaza area and saw this place hidden way in the back. Was around brunch so thought I’d give it a try. I had the poke plate. Omg, it was amazing! The best poke I’ve ever had so far. My husband got the BBQ ribs, delicious. We shared the clams. It was a huge platter of clams. This place gives the most clams I’ve ever had compared to any other restaurants I have ever ordered from. Service was quick and friendly. I wish there was something like this in California or at least close to it. I’ve been to California Fish and Grill but it’s not anywhere even close to comparison to this place. Food here is a 5 star plus all the way.

It wasn’t bad but didn’t live up to the Unilocal hype. My husband and I ordered: Appetizers: clams which we both agreed were 4⁄5 Lunch: Combo shrimp and steak which my husband said shrimp wasn’t as good as Gillian’s truck and steak was very fatty 1.5÷5. I ordered the mahi sandwich which had more bread than fish. Fish was 4⁄5 once I removed the bread. Everything is cool to order which means it’s not the place for a quick bite.

I’m SOGLAD for this addition to the Hilton resort! Before, this space was yet another Japanese noodle joint, right next to the sushi restaurant and another hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant. Finally some variety! I ordered a plate lunch of garlic shrimp, brown rice, green salad and corn on the cob. $ 15 is a little high for a simple plate lunch, but hey it’s the Hilton… it’s all overpriced! My husband ordered the kalbi beef rib plate and his meal was huuuge! The shrimp wasn’t peeled, but not a big deal bc it was smothered in a creamy garlic sauce. Sooo soo good, and definitely our new favorite place to eat in the resort. We’ll see you next summer!

Oh baby!!! I’m so happy I found this hidden little place. Thankfully it was on the grounds of my resort, but you still have to dig a little to find it. I wish I ate ALL of my meals there, sadly only 2 were eaten there. I had the garlic shrimp my first night there, and boy oh boy did it make my mouth sing. I got the medium heat, you can get different ranges. It was perfect. And they give you so much food. The potato salad was to die for! The next meal I had there was just furiyake(spelling?) poke. That’s it. Pure poke! No rice, no potato salad… it was delicious in the face. The texture was perfect. The seasoning amazing, just everything about it was wonderful. I’d usually just get the food for takeout, but the ladies who worked there seemed pleasant.

Came across this hidden place in the back of the Hilton HI Village while staying there, and have no qualms! Food was so good and fresh! Not overly sauced either which I love. Actually allows you to taste the meal you’re eating. Got the poke/steak plate, and it was delicious! Would’ve gladly gone back to try other things, but family made the decisions on where to eat, so sadly didn’t get to go there again. If I ever go back, I will make this one of my first stops, as they had the best poke I’ve ever tasted!

Passed by this place a few times during break and after work. One day, I had originally planned to grab food from the downstairs convenience store but they had closed up for lunch, so I detoured over. They have photos of their plates all over the wall, along with a menu at the front post, as well as menus for you to grab. I couldn’t decide between the ribeye or shrimp, but ended up ordering the shrimp(to go) instead. There’s a choice between six or nine pieces of shrimp, I chose six since I didn’t think I would eat all of them within my break. Six(6) Piece Garlic Shrimp Plate: They asked how I wanted my shrimp, I asked for mild, yet it was a bit spicy as I ate. Yeah, no can handle. Along with the pieces of shrimp, my plate came with furikake on white rice, corn on the cob, a slice of pineapple, a slice of lemon, and toss salad, instead of potato. Like most places, you gotta peel the shrimp yourselves. Luckily, they provide a plastic fork and knife to help with it. Overall, the shrimp was pretty good, it wasn’t too garlicky like some other places I’ve tried. They even had the good tasting corn, if you really like corn, you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Ha-ha. With this place being in Waikiki and on Hilton property, the shrimp plate cost about $ 14.00, if you don’t get discount. Credit cards are accepted. They also have drinks and fruits for sale. Theey have tables and chairs in and outside, very limited though and their outdoor tables have umbrellas. I would definitely order the garlic plate from them again, but being on a budget and with that price tag, not that often!

It’s located on the Hilton Hawaiian Village property. As a family we’ve tried the shrimp, mahi mahi, lobster, crab, calamari. On my one week trip– I’ve been here 3 times. We even walked from the Hyatt regency the first time– only to realize there’s the pink line trolley. Seriously– if you can’t make it to he North shore shrimp trunks make it here. Travel tip: take the trolley to get dropped at Hilton Hawaiian Village. It’s within the Hilton property. Shrimp is so good — my favourite. Flavourful decent sized shrimp, rice and potato salad. The gravy/sauce is just soooo good. Drinks: They sell juice for $ 1, or they have free ice water(so glad they do this– it can get HOT outside) They also are happy if your BYOB. It’s an outdoor seating type place. Perfect if maybe $ 5 bucks cheaper– but it’s good food!

Easily my favorite restaurant during the entire vacation! With bundles of selections, we ended up eating here twice bc they’re so fresh and flavorful. First visit, I had the two Brazilian lobster tails($ 39). Perfectly cooked and buttered; meat was sweet. Second visit, we went a little crazy. Got the deluxe platter($ 99) — they ran out of the ribs so they replaced with pork chops for us. I wasn’t too happy about it bc I really wanted the ribs. But oh well. Also ordered the two Brazilian lobster tails again($ 39), fries($ 4) and extra order of clams($ 14). We ate. We ate so much to the point of seafood exhaustion, but it was so darn good that we couldn’t stop. Food was delicious; however, I did notice that the serving dishes changed from the first visit. We got plastic plates the second time. First visit was in a fancy, heavy duty, white platter. I couldn’t careless about the dishes, but they should keep it consistent.

Easy peasy lemon squeaky! Yea. I like the food. It’s really pretty. You can get garlic shrimp, steak, lobsters and even poke in one tiny spot. It’s pretty bright spot with lots of outdoor chairs. And of courses it’s in Hilton! Love ~ garlic shrimp! Not hate ~ lobster tail, surf and turf, poke Meh ~ the Mahi mahi Everything comes with rice, corn and a choice of salad or potato salad. Again, not bad. Prices are a bit high! It’s always been high for what you get here even at their old location in the market. Flavors are never gonna make you go crazy. But it totally does the job of filling that craving! If you see it, try it! Better than most places in Hilton anyway!

On my one hour lunch break from a class I was taking at the Alana Double Tree Hotel(a short walk away), I wandered upon this place. It’s located on the Hilton Hawaiian Village property, past Benihana and the ABC store and towards the end of their hotel shopping complex by Round Table Pizza. I didn’t even realize it was newly opened. The prices almost scared me away, but I decided to give it a try. It was $ 18 for a steak and garlic shrimp combo, and I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be that great. I was really surprised when it arrived plated so beautifully in a regular(ceramic) plate. I was expecting it to come out in a styrofoam container. The potato salad that comes with each plate is really delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare like I asked, and was super tender with just the right amount of fat. I hate overcooked steak! The garlic shrimp was also very good, but it’s hard to go wrong with garlic and butter. I was impressed with the portion size as well. Even though $ 18 is expensive, I don’t regret stopping here. Now I want to visit their Mililani truck, which has way cheaper prices since it doesn’t have to deal with(what I assume is) crazy Waikiki prime location rent.
