Tania was so easy going and made me feel so comfortable on my wedding morning. She was on time and had all her equipment and makeup and was ready to jump right in! I started to get a little stressed with the groom, my son and all the kids in our hotel room but she was so professional and so kind and in her zone. So comfortable with what they wanted to do with their hair and their makeup was just right. She reminded me of my auntie putting make up on me when we were younger. When she showed me the mirror, I was extremely pleased with how I looked. In all my pictures I actually looked radiant. But it didn’t look like I had my face plastered with make up. My hair was so nicely done with beautiful big curls. I wish I could include a picture of what I looked like after about 10 hours of outdoor pics in the wind, eating and dancing the night away. I literally looked just as gorgeous as I did when she left my room. Thank you Tania, I am so pleased to have worked with you! To other brides, trust me Tania will not let you down. She’s a talented hair and makeup artist but on top of that a wonderful person.

I received Tania’s information from our day of wedding coordinator Kelly Sugano from A Perfect Day Wedding. After looking at some of her work online, I decided to go with my instincts and book Tania for the big day.
Tania is SUCH a sweetheart and so fun to work with! My wedding party and I all loved her and she made us look stunning! I couldn’t believe how perfect my hair and make up looked and the fact that it stayed on ALL day from 11AM until the after party at 2AM. When planning a destination wedding, things can be stressful since vendors are not easily accessible. Flying out to Hawaii just for a trial run is unreasonable so one just has to hope it’ll be perfect on the day of. I couldn’t have asked for more when I saw how beautiful the results are. Right now our professional photos aren’t available, but the photos I am posting are just from people’s smart phones. If they can look that amazing, I can’t wait to see the real deal!

Tania was fabulous! She accommodated a last minute request to do hair and make-​up! She is super friendly and asks along the way to check on how you’re doing and to make sure you’re ok. The make up and hair held up beautifully despite hot and humid weather and we all looked stunning throughout the night!

Tania is an absolute delight! Take one 52 nervous year old that doesn’t know the first thing about putting on make up and you’ve got a recipe for a potential melt down on wedding day. So many other things to worry about, the last thing I wanted to think about is trying to make my face and hair look decent.
I absolutely loved working with Tania from wedding trial through the actual wedding day. She explained every step of the process; the timeline for make-​up and hair, how to deal with the humidity and heat on wedding day and how to keep the look throughout the day. She made myself and my daughter look absolutely stunning, I couldn’t believe it was me when I looked in the mirror, she works miracles!
I would recommend her to anyone, she is an extreme talent and a fabulous person!

I had a makeup/​hair trial with Tania at her home studio and she did my hair/​makeup as well as my bridesmaid’s at the venue. For the trial I showed her my inspiration pictures and she did a great job of recreating the look. She took notes and pictures so that on my wedding day I didn’t really have to make choices, we knew what worked. For me getting a trial done helped me not to be anxious since I knew what she could do.
I loved how everything turned out, I thought I looked great, my bridesmaid looked great, and my husband thought I looked beautiful.

I am using my husbands Unilocal,I don’t have one. I would give Tania 10 stars if I could! She was, early for starters and so friendly I felt like I had known her for ever! She was amazing! My children (4 & 2) had caught a stomach bug when we got to HI so she was so understanding that we were running behind and they were in need of extra attention from me and still a little under the weather.

She was very punctual (important when you’re running around on a very important day!), and great to talk to.
i didn’t have a huge vision of what i wanted to look like on the day – I considered myself a pretty easygoing bride. So, I was open to Tania’s make up suggestions, and only gave her one photo for a possible up-​do. She asked me a few questions, then started to work. I trusted her judgement, and she made me look great. The hair style and make-​up lasted all night, and she gave me a sponge to blot my face throughout the evening. My lipstick also lasted pretty much the whole evening.
I would totally recommend Tania for hair and make up if you’re having your big day on Oahu!

Tania was the best person I could have imagined to help me on the day of my wedding. I loved what she did at our consultation visit and my wedding hair and makeup were even better. Her team was so sweet and professional. All of my bridesmaids, my mother, my grandmother, and I looked the best we ever had.

Tania did my engagement, trial session and wedding day makeup. She was awesome. She made sure I know exactly what she was doing and that I was comfortable with the makeup. She had my hair in a low side bun and it was gorgeous. She made me look like a princess. She was friendly, accommodating and on time. She made sure myself, my 3 bridesmaids, mother of groom and flower girl were ready, and on time. I highly recommended Tania to do your hair and makeup.

First off, I don’t wear makeup and I don’t fuss with my hair. I’m always a little disappointed when I get a haircut or get makeup done by a professional because I can’t articulate how I want them done since I’m totally clueless.
The trial session as it turned out, was a must. At the beginning of the session, I told her what I wanted: look natural, hide under eye circles, make my eyes pop without being too way-​over-​the-​top.
She applied the eye makeup… and as she layered eye liner, then layers eye shadow, then mascara, etc I got worried. It looked like too much. I asked my friend. She was way too nice to say anything negative, and her response was «Well, I think it looks nice. Most brides wear a lot of makeup for their wedding.» Har.
Tania said it wouldn’t look as «made up» on photo. Maybe she’s right. I may be freaking out because I normally wear zero makeup. She told me to keep the makeup on and see how it stays. I followed her advice. The hair style was decided within 15 min. I had general idea of how I wanted my hair done, and lucky for me, one of her previous client had exactly the same hairstyle I was going for!
On the day of the wedding I told her that I wanted a little less eye makeup. I also requested a couple of changes based on how the trial session makeup looked at the end of the day.
On the day of the wedding, I looked amazing. There I said it. And the hair came out exactly how I wanted. I looked like the better, prettier version of myself. The hair and makeup looked great the entire night even though I didn’t touch up my makeup at all (I forgot).

I met Tania when my friend was getting married and she had chosen Tania as her hair and makeup person. I was really pleased with her service at that time and decided to use her for my own wedding. She suggested doing a hair and makeup trial ($ 75), so I did that. I believe it was worth it because she took over 2.5 hours to discuss what I wanted and tried different eye makeup styles and figured out what colors looked best. On the wedding day, she arrived promptly at 8:30am with 2 assistants (one for hair and one for makeup because we had 9 people getting hair and makeup done). The morning went by quickly, and everyone’s hair and makeup got done. Tania was professional and calming (I didn’t feel stressed out at all) and I really liked how my hair and makeup looked. The makeup even stayed on even after I cried! It was nice to not have to worry about hair and makeup, and Tania was someone who I trusted to execute perfectly on that day — and she did!

I really love Tania because she does great work in particular for getting clients ready for photos. Her style is not what I would want for «night on the town» per say, but if you are getting any pictures done (wedding, event, modeling, headshots, etc.) she is your girl! She often times works on TV & Film sets and does make-​up for the camera which I love!

I was a bridesmaid wedding and Tania and her assistant did the entire party’s hair and makeup. I’ve been in quite a number of weddings before, with various makeup artists, and I was disappointed in the services provided by Beauty by Tania. First, the makeup looked awful. She somehow «decided» that the makeup should match the color of the dress. AWFUL. So does that mean that if we had orange dresses the makeup should be orange? None of the maids liked their makeup and half of us ended up wiping it off and putting our own on. When it came to the bride’s hair, Tania and her assistant could not figure out how to do it. She kept making excuses for why she was having so much trouble with it (note that there was a trial run). It caused the bride and the bridal party a lot of unnecessary stress. After about 3 tries of putting it up and taking it out, she finally got it. The bride ended up looking beautiful, but I would not recommend her, there are far more talented artists in Hawaii.

Let me tell you, Tania really knows what she is doing. Not only has she studied various types of make up (wedding, period, fashion, etc) but she also used to teach it too.
She really knew what she was doing with my make up. It looked very natural –just like I requested. I cired several times during my wedding but my eye make up did not get smudged at all! It never did! It was perfect all evening.
Even my hair. I had a flower put in my hair and never once did it fall off or even appear to be out of place.
I am just so happy with her I totally recommend her!!!
She was also early to the appt. She is very reliable, and also very friendly/​personable. My mom and step mom were hanging around the entire time chit chatting with her and myself, and she was very friendly with them as well.

When searching for a hair and makeup artist for my wedding, my friend recommended Tania. I remembered seeing her ads in the local wedding magazines. I decided to give her a call and meet with her for a consultation. Tania was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. It was easy telling her what I wanted. One thing great about Tania is that she is talented with both hair and makeup! It saves the trouble of finding two people. She was very professional. always returning calls promptly and very accommodating to my needs. On the wedding day, she came to the hotel right on time…5am! My hair is very fine and flat, but Tania was able to make my curls hold up pretty well. Not to mention, that huge cymbidium orchid in my hair which looked fabulous! I was so happy with my hair that day and we all know how priceless that is on your wedding day. Thanks Tania!
