One of my favorite bar as they their food is ono! I especially love their porkchops, steak with onions, fries, onion rings, and ahi belly. I love their happy hour deals and look forward to the $ 1 oysters on Wednesdays. Good parking space and friendly servers. Sometimes the karaōke singers can be a little distracting, but it’s a bar. My friends and I love this place!

Super friendly place with lots of locals watching the games. Reasonable prices on drinks and food. Simple menu but good for bar food. Lots of parking in front. A real down to earth local sports bar.

So this is an official Raiders Bar. My bud and I went there to watch The Raiders play football and it was okay. Not the best sports bar I’ve ever been to but again it was okay. Atmosphere was chill. Place was pretty clean if a little run down. Buffet was good. Service was very good and polite. Prices were very reasonable for Waikiki. Parking is a little sketchy but that’s pretty much everywhere in Waikiki. I would go back if invited again. Probably wouldn’t go there on my own.

If you like good grinds, pupu style, this is the place to be! I’ve been here previously with my friends once before but I didn’t get a chance to write a review about it. Atmosphere: It’s a small little bar, not too small but just right, the staff were really friendly, we didn’t drink last night because we drank earlier and we were just super hungry. There are TVs on all angles of the bar up top. It was very clean. The bathroom is one stall but I love that it was clean as well. The parking outside on weekends does get a little crazy, tonight however it was a empty which was awesome too cause we just went right on in. Food: We ordered the Lechon, and let me tell you, it was delicious! I love my pork belly crispy and the onions and tomatoes weren’t over powering it was just right. We also got the super duper combo(4 sandwiches) BLT, grilled cheese, hamburger and spam and egg. I really enjoyed the hamburger sandwich it was super tasty. We also ordered the steamed fish & the fried rice, paired together those are awesome. The sauce from the fish over the fried rice is winnaz! I honestly can’t speak for the drinks yet but from what I’ve heard they make some good ones. I will definitely come back, I can’t wait to eat the food again lol.

Anyplace is exactly what I needed tonight. I come here often and I absolutely adore it. Everything about this place feels like home to me. The staff is always amazing and I have gotten to know them very well over the past few years. I always order the fried rice and lechon. When they decided to add the steamed fish to the menu permanently I began to order that as well, because it is spectacularly delicious. I have eaten pretty much everything on the menu and loved it. The onion rings are really crispy, the sandwiches are great, and don’t get me started on the ahi belly because it’s to die for. It’s simply the best!!! They have restrooms, which is a major plus, darts, and karaōke. If your looking to have a great night out with friends and family for a really good price, go to Anyplace!!!

I really like this place as it reminds me of bars in Hilo: simple, affordable, gracious and local. We ended up here after some friends we saw at Pint and Jigger said to walk over and continue drinking for half the price! Sold! They have TVs on the walls with sports on, and a few strategically placed TV monitors for karaōke. Songs are $ 1 each and the binder with song selections is huge. The feeling is more like being at a family party than a bar. Unfortunately because we had to get home(baby sitter timing) and we ate prior, we didn’t get to eat here but according to others the food is straight up tasty and generous. What I liked most was the service, very friendly and attentive. I give that 4 stars. Reason why my review is 3 is because it’s a Oakland Raiders Bar… at least one side is lol. I’m a SF Niner girl through and through so walking in that bar and seeing all that silver and black up made my blood run Gold! =) Nothing personal, it’s just a Bay thing, maybe you’d understand. So Raider fans, head over to this place, I think you’d feel right at home.

Used to come here to play darts because it is nice and quiet. Usually drink 1 or 2 beers and and leave more than 30% depending how long instayed. This 1 star is for their change in policy and the way they decided to execute the situation. People are supposed to have a 2 drink minimum now, even though you order food, you have to have to drinks. So my friends were there before me had food and drinks and I got invited to play darts so I didn’t want to drink just play. Server asked if I wanted anything and I responded no. So friend 1 had 2 drinks and friend 2 had 1 drink and at the end with our bill we were charged an additional $ 10. We asked about the charge and was told about the policy change. We were never notified. I checked outside and around the entire bar for a sign of this charge and there was none. The server quickly responded by grabbing the menu and showing the first page. Okay, possibly my friends could have seen the memo in the menu but I arrived late and was asked if I wanted something to drink, if I respond with no, I would expect for the server to notify me of the possible charge. I asked why there were no memos or posters and the server responded that they have not had time. To me that is not true because every menu has this memo stuffed into an insert inside the menu. There is a white board with their specials and it could be put there or even written. But it wasn’t. I work in the service industry and try to serve our guests. Before I didn’t mind coming here and being ignored because the servers are talking to their friends or regulars at the bar and takes effort to get a drink but to not be notified about this policy change why should I leave gratuity for that? This change would not have bothered me if I was notified but I was not so had to pay the charge. I would like to make clear it is not the fact I had to pay but the execution the server took. She seemed prepared to charge us without notifying us.

This place should get five stars for what it is. A non pretentious neighborhood bar with friendly servers, really good food, pretty cheap drinks and food, and karaōke. We had 8 beers and ordered four dishes and it came out to about $ 20 pp including the tip. When u walk in its a step back in time. My buddy who is from Hilo said it feels like a neighbor island bar. This is from the vibe, décor, and patrons. It looked like the last stop for most even though it was only 10pm when we arrived. We ordered the fried rice, friend chicken, smoked meat, and steamed fish. The fried rice had a lot going on and was moist and tasty. The smoked meat would have been even better if I had some white rice and it came with onions. The steamed fish looked like bass and was perfectly cooked with ginger, soy sauce, green onions, and cilantro. Fried chicken seamed pretty standard but it was good. Not heavily battered. One star taken away for the service. Our server didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and I don’t recall her being very personable. We had to ask her for our waters multiple times and it was not a busy night.

I like this bar because it’s not pretentious and you don’t have to wait a long time for them to play your songs. I love their fried rice, gaugee, and pork chops, but I didn’t care for the pupus I got this time. The chicken tofu was not bad, but a little salty for my taste. I dug into the ahi belly which at first was great, but then midway through I noticed it was very raw on the inside. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be that way but the waitress didn’t ask for our preference. Not a huge fan of the oyster shooters and the eggplant tempura was a little oily. The chicken katsu slider was pretty good and I got the fried rice again. Food also takes a long time to arrive and it comes at all different times. They also don’t have beer on tap. Still cool place cause it’s very laid back and casual.

My facebook eating buddy, request that I plan a pupu drinking night with our poker buddies, it wasn’t a problem to do this! Sent out my evite & bam, all confirmed for 11.8.14 for 10. :0) Yay! I’ve been here twice years ago and a co-worker comes here every week. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere the last 2 times I was here. & since I live so close by here, me and the hubby walked it. but lost a bet to my facebook eating buddy, since I’m always not on Hawaiian time. (Lol, live so close but we came 5 mins late, I hope he enjoyed his Heineken) We did Chinese style, except for the other half of the table. We got fried rice, pork chops, lechon kawili, poke, steak, French fries, tots w/cheese, spam sandwich, fried ahi belly, chicken wings, & a few other items. Everything was ono! Everyone enjoyed the food! The pork chops,(a few of us) said it was better than Side Street. The prices are reasonable! The pork chop was 14.00, not bad at all. fyi-There is a fee of 1.00 for take out I had many glasses of Miller Lite on draft that night, as it was 6.00 for the pitcher and 2.00 for a glass. What a deal! I like that me & the hubby can drink up and we can just walk it home. So convenient! I should come more often, as we live so close by. This is my goal for 2015. My co-worker mentioned that on Sundays, there is a breakfast buffet for football Sundays. & for all you Raiders fan out there, the owner is a Raiders Fan! I def. will be back, with the hubby & for our nexts pupu and drinking night with my facebook eating buddy & the rest of the poker friends. Remember, you Can’t just go any place, you have to go to «ANYPLACE» Cocktail Lounge! :0) & there is karaōke & darts, but we were too busy drinking, eating, talking, that we didn’t get to this.

Came here after seeing Long Island Medium at Blaisdell. It’s not a huge place. 2 relatively big parties seemed to be winding down. We ordered cheese fries and a quesadilla. Took 45 minutes after waiting 20 minutes just to place an order. Courteous is a generous description of the service. The servers smiled superficially but did not seem to care about the customers. The food was a little better than average. At least it was hot. Thanks but I won’t be coming back Anytime Soon to Anyplace.

Okay I wrote the first review the same day that my friends agreed to go to Anyplace again haha, well of course now I have to give them one more star as now I’ve had more of their food! Being I had to work late I arrived just as they were in the middle of their first beer, cool I’m not really late. Well we started ordering our food which consisted of the Fried Chicken, Pork Chops and the Smoked Meat yeah! Good stuff! Well that Kona Longboard went well with the great food the Obachan’s Fried Chicken was crispy on the outside and not oily at all, the Pork Chops were lightly dusted, salt and pepper just right no heavy batter there, and finally the Smoked Meat which our waitress said that a guy smokes it and brings it to them all they do is slice it up and pan fry it with the onions oh that is a winner! I believe the Kona Longboard was about $ 4 which is cheaper than most bars which usually come in at $ 5 or higher so that’s great, the food and about three beers each the tab came out to $ 63 not bad for three guys so that meant the food averaged about $ 9 a plate not too bad. The ambience is a little louder on the Mauka side as that’s where the Karaōke and the TV’s are(and the most people) we tend to like it on the Makai side as it’s a bit quieter and easier to talk story’ the only drawback is the waitress spends more time on the Mauka side but she kept coming around to check on us so I wasn’t too bad. Parking I would say it’s pretty decent amount of parking which means it shouldn’t be a problem finding one in a building with three bars(I rode bike). I think this may become our kick back talk story and grind a bit bar!

Needed a late night spam fix for my first trip to Hawaii and this place did it! Ordered the spam and egg sandwich, tater tots, and bud light –the bill came out to be less than $ 20 with tip for two people.

Yay! I’m a fan. This place is difficult to find, very difficult. The first time we went to Anyplace, we seriously drove past it at least twice before finding it. The front of the bar is facing diamondhead on King street, so if you drive past you have to turn and look right and back to see the sign. It’s in the same complex as south king lounge. The drinks here are decently priced, Beers are $ 0.50 off before 6 but normally domestics are $ 3.50(don’t quote me, but I know its less than $ 4). We always order the chopped salad, the best thing that I’ve had here. It romaine lettuce, with capers, wonton sticks, and bacon tossed in a ranch style dressing. They also have good fried noodles for $ 7. Anyplace has karaōke for $ 1 a song, darts and free wifi.(just ask your server for the password). Great place to have some drinks and pupus.

I luv Anyplace soooo much and I probably go here at least once every other week. I like to describe it as «the working man’s Side Street.» I also really like SIde Street Inn, the original one, but I don’t like how there are all these tourists going there now. I like to come here right after work on a weekday or just before sundown on a weekend. Also on Sundays they open at 6:30am and have a breakfast buffet for $ 10/person and you can watch all the games! Awesome. When I come here I feel like I’m 5 years old going to dinner with my parents because it’s that kind of place where you can take them. It’s like a time warp and I’m instantly blasted back to the 80’s but I can drink this time. The servers are beyond amazing, really the nicest and most sincere service I’ve ever had in my life, other than at my Grandma’s table. Jackie, Joanne, Malia… amazing! One side of the bar is Karaōke the other side is Darts and sports. I usually sit on the Karaōke side because I am a notorious fiend, but once I sat on the sports side and these pair of old men walked in with fat stacks of dollar bills and a little case that looked like it may contain a DVD player. What was in the case? Their own darts… for the dart machine. CRAZY! Luv this place.

The hubs and I are always on the look out for a place to watch NFL on Sundays(Goooooo Niners!). The good thing about Anyplace is our baby is allowed to come in. Eh don’t judge me for bringing her to a bar. haha! Anyplace is one of my favorite places to watch NFL. First, the TV’s are good– there are enough and spread out fairly well to see all the games. Second, the people there are friendly! I bring the bebe and they treat my family so nice. Luv it! Last, the food is grinds! There is a breakfast buffet for like $ 8.50 and it’s so worth it. There is a good variety of breakfast meats, eggs any way you want them(just ask the guy in the kitchen), juices, cereals, bagels… etc. a good deal for $ 8.50! Oh and there is usually a special item in the crock pot. Once it was beef stew, another time it was corn chowder! yummmm The crowd gets excited but they are not crazy. side note: I’ve been here at night twice the pork chops and spam and egg sandwich was Amazzzing!

Ok, it’s not too often i will give dive bars like this a five star rating, but when everybody is talking about Side Street Inn, Home Bar and Grill, Uncle Bo’s, and so on, there is always that one ugly school girl that you know would turn out pretty someday, and at Anyplace Lounge, this place is that ugly girl. Anyplace Lounge is one those places tucked away where it can’t publicly be seen and people always pass it which is fine by me because this kind of place for me is the kind of place that i don’t want too many people to know about because there is nothing like a bar we can go to after a hards night work and just chill and eat spectacular and cheap, i mean cheap pupu’s which i think tastes even better than some of those bars i have mentioned above and at a fraction of a price. Now don’t expect hot looking cocktail waitresses here, this place looks like someplace where Kojak used to have a drink and suck his Lollipop at. Even the bathroom looks a little outdated too. I thought i would have to squat and take a dump through a little hole here and aim through a little puka to take a pee here but that isn’t the case. There will always be a special in my heart with Anyplace Lounge because we can be ourselves here and not come to a place looking like barbie and ken and having to look all fake and interchangable like a Mr Potatohead. I just hope these kind of places stay around forever. Now let me tell you why we come to this jewel of a place… THEPORKCHOPS: The Porkchops here KICK major ass and at a fraction of the cost that Sidstreet Inn charges you. The Porkchops here are moist, juicy, and very flavorful. SPAMANDEGGSANDWICH: What can i say about a Spam and Egg Sandwich? These sandwiches hit home here and go perfect with an ice, cold, beer FRIEDAHIBELLY: Need i say more? Simply ONO! STEAKWITHMUSHROOMSANDSAUTEEDONIONS: Isn’t the best i’ve had but when i pay this kind of price, i’m still smiling VIENNASAUSAGEWITHSHOYUSUGAR: Oh yeah baby, Vienna Sausage with that sauce makes me drool… simple, simple, simple and so damn good SUPERCOMBO: You get BLT, Spam and Egg Sandwich, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and a Sandwich with Hamburger Patty all put on one plate… FRIEDCHICKENGIZZARDS: There is nothing like chewing on a little good year tires and enjoying each and every little bite… CHICKENWINGS: You gotta have fried chicken wings wherever you go. Once again, not the best but im content. AHISASHIMIWITHAHIANDTAKOPOKE: Need these three to make drinking completehttp://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Dhv5YYjuZTHM7HEo90HU5w?select=FDPPoXd38−8Z8IRyuL-0qw
