His name was buddy. Never again!

The Japanese female gas attendant is very friendly and helpful. She’s got great customer service! I didn’t buy gas but was in need of some hydration. I was pleased to see that coconut water was sold there. There were different brands also. I was also surprised to see that they sold Naked smoothies there too. I ended up getting some vitamin water. It pleased me to know that there are healthy choices now to choose from and not just soda and can juices.

When I’m done shopping next door at Jimmy’s Produce(Filipino store) or across the street at Queens(Korean market), my hubby(an American man), wants to buy an American snack or drink. So we come here to satisfy his cravings. They’re conveniently located on King Street. It can be very congested during afternoon rush hour, which is a plus for drivers who needs a drink, snack, or gas before heading towards the freeway. Or for some to just pull over and cool off from road rage. There are ample parking but I’ll speculate and say that the cars parked there may not be their customers. In addition to unleaded, this gas station also sells Diesel. The store offers the usual things a gas station store normally would; snacks, drinks, small auto section, magazines, manapua, musubi, hot dog, ice cream, and a Bank of Hawaii ATM. The clerks are professional. Nothing out of the norm, just go in, pay, «have a good day», walk out.

RATING A GASSTATION? I will base this review on location(2), supply(2) and price(1). Location: It is in a very busy part of Kalihi, but it isn’t way to busy. I am glad that there is always an opening for me to get gas at night, on my lunch break or in the morning. They only have a few pump stations, but they always have one open. The location is good with lots of parking places and 3 entrances/exists. The only flaw is that during traffic hour it is so hard to come in or leave this place. Supply: They always seem to have gas. I haven’t gone there and it was closed down or out of service. Price: Always consistent with the other ALOHA gas stations. With not much to rate them on, this particular gas station is pretty good. Also, you have an option to stop by that little Filipino store in the corner to get some fresh fruits, vegetables or crab! I like that little market
