Love when it was just him he make the tacos to perfection but now his taco makers Gave me pork tacos when I asked for beef didn’t realize it till I hit the car. Uggh

Automatically added a star for service after 2AM. Good food and fair pricing. It’s those late night cravings when everything is closed that makes this place great.

I’ve been in Hawaii over ten years now and have yet to find a place that makes better burritos and tacos than Alejandro’s. Yes it is street food, but don’t let appearances fool you! The carnitas are packed with flavor and aren’t too salty, and everything is made to order right before your eyes.
Only open on Friday and Saturday nights (see his Facebook page for details/​hour) on the corner of Nohonani and Kuhio fronting the clothing store next to Marukame. If the line is long, don’t worry it moves fairly quickly and is totally worth the wait!

Had a burrito after a night out. Very good. Husband had a couple of tacos and those very very good too! I highly recommend stopping by.

My family ran into Alejandro’s new taco truck and we decided to give it a try. I was not expecting much. And oh man I am so glad we stopped! I had the carnita tacos and they were juicy and had tons of flavor! We had already left and I had to go back and order more food. I got a carnitas torta and it was equally delicious!!! I am not sure about there other meats but the carnita dishes were GREAT!!! I don’t know why more people haven’t reviewed this place– best mexican food in Waikiki. The owner is from Los Angeles and super nice!

Taste of LA is here in Hawaii. This is authentic as it gets. The best tacos and burritos you will taste for a great price. Make sure you experience this Waikiki staple.

Street tacos… Simple, delicious, inexpensive, and here you’ll be accommodated with great service from friendly, cool people. What more could ya ask for?
Three menu items; tacos $ 3, burritos $ 7 and quesadillas $ 5.
Beef or pork, both fantastic. I say go pork. It is ridiculously good. Generous portions, tender, full of flavor, just spot on.
Open 12:30am to 4am Fridays and Saturdays (as far as i know)
If you love yourself, eat here as soon as possible. And leave a tip, they deserve it.

Have been looking for good burritos/​Mexican food since moving to the island three years ago. I Finally found it everything is freshly made, perfectly seasoned, hot and spicy just like Mexican should be. Go visit Alejandro’s Fridays and Saturdays for your late night cravings! I dearly missed the street tacos I used to enjoy in Washington, DC, but now I’m satiated– thanks Alex!
