Loyola’s Homer Glen health center is home to top primary care doctors and specialists who treat adults and children in several areas of expertise, including cardiology, diabetes management, ear, nose and throat issues and plastic and reconstructive surgery. The immediate care center has expanded hours for walk-​in patients who need to see a doctor right away but who don’t need to visit an emergency room.

The Homer Glen Center provides a wide range of outpatient services, such as diabetes education and nutrition counseling, radiology, audiology and hearing aid services.

The center is just north of 159th Street, about three miles east of I-​355. Parking is free.

Went there for urgent care and they refused to give me antibiotics for bronchitis. Although I understand them not wanting to over prescribe antibiotics, I told them based on my history the antibiotics was the only thing which would make me better. Sure enough 5 days later I was almost hospitalized since it was so much worse. Received antibiotics from my doctor and got better quickly. Additionally, they did not submit the medical properly to my PPO insurance company and we are still fighting them over a large bill which should be paid by the insurance company. Will not go back there.

Awesome medical facility. The doctors have great professionalism and are very caring. We have a lot of diverse medical issues with my sons disability and every single doctor on his «team» have been wonderful. They actually talk to each other and plan his care together! We could not be more pleased with everything about this facility and staff. Highly recommend.

Dr. Polsley is the best doctor! He cares for our entire family and does so with passion and understanding. He takes the time to order tests and truly find out what is going on. It is sort of hard to get an appointment for a well visit, but sick visits are much easier. You can see any doctor in the practice if you are sick. If they can’t fit you in, they have an amazing immediate care center on the second floor. There are many doctors within the building if you are in need of a specialist. They also have physical therapy, a lab, and X-​ray machine in house. As long as they accept my insurance, I will be coming here for my care.

Loyola does it again! Consistent, caring quality service. What more could you want?
An urgent health issue forced me to a location a little further away from home. The doctor assigned to me was Sarah Doss, she is young and awesome. The supporting team of nurses and another physician surrounded me prior to the procedure to ensure I was comfortable, relaxed and had a hand to hold.
My procedure involved needles, so I was very freaked out. As usual, they try to distract ya with small talk, but I was focusing on the 6″ inch needle going into my knee. But they made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. They wrapped my leg and sent me off with a smile.
That’s what its all about! Showing that you care, asking and answering questions and bringing a smile to a fearful face. They’re the best. Loyola!
