History

Established in 2009.

Angie founded Mother Herb Diaper Service in 2009, after the birth of her second child. She had a vision for a truly eco-​conscious diaper service that connected families and helped foster responsibility for the planet. Her idealistic and entrepreneurial spirit was threaded into being a mother and thus an at-​home diaper service took form. With the birth of her third child in 2011, and the continued development of the service, Angie looked to the cooperative business model as a way to strengthen and grow the business. Rachel Middleton joined as an official worker-​owner in the late winter of 2014, and they are proud to announce this next chapter of Simple Diaper & Linen at their new commercial space in Holyoke.

Angie is a mother to Kaiah (11), Salem (7), and Asa (3) and lives in Northampton with her husband Seth, who we have to thank for our identity, design, and web work. When she finds time away from her work, she spends it staying connected to her love for herbal medicine, gardening, and photography.
