I think one star is generous for this sub par company. I cannot say enough times… DO NOT USE ULTIMATE PARTY BUS EXPERIENCE! DO NOT USE THEM, DO NOT USE THEM!!!
First off, let me tell you that LANGSTON, is a completely full of BS and then YELLS AT YOU when you call him out on it. I have never met a business person like this in my life. I ordered a party bus two weeks in advance, put down a $ 150 deposit and thought we would be on our way. He told me that he would PROVIDE: Water, ice, and sodas. They would be on the bus BEFORE we got on. Awesome, right! The sell clincher! Added bonus to our ride… NOT!
The bus arrives on time, thanks to the driver, but the driver informs me that she has NO IDEA where we are going. Thank goodness for GPS, right! Then, she informs me that she was NEVER told to get ice, soda, and waters for us before she got there. HUH??? Really? Okay… well, now we don’t have time to stop. We proceed to make our way up toward Malibu. Everything seems to be working fine, but then the driver gets pulled over. The sheriff pulls her over because the vehicle is over 8k lbs and isn’t supposed to be on this road. Did the driver not see the signs? She didn’t see any type of weight limit so she proceeded. Then the police officer asks her for her medical license and realizes that it wasn’t registered with the DMV and was expired. As a driver, you have to have one of these. So, Langston apparently doesn’t check his «drivers» (which aren’t really his because we found out that he is like an intermediary and doesn’t actually own the bus).
We get to our destination, get dropped off (now an hour late and it’s my birthday party) and tell the driver our pick up time. Lo and behold, we get onto the bus and NONE of the electronics are working! No TV, no music, no lights, NOTHING. So… the driver then takes almost an HOUR calling her «boss» who then has to call the «mechanic» who wasn’t available. I call Langston in hopes that he can somehow help. I inform him of what happened and he tells me there is nothing he can do about it because it is out of his hands. HUH??? I ORDERED THIS BUS THROUGH YOU! YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE HANDLING THIS! He deflected responsibility (like any sleazy middle man would once he has his money. and by the way… CASH ONLY… another sign of NO. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY). 15 minutes…20 minutes…30 minutes… NOTHING. No one can help. I call him again… he starts to yell at me saying that there is nothing he can do. I tell him I want to be compensated for our time, the fact that there were no waters, sodas and ice on the bus, and the fact that we PAID for entertainment and didn’t get it but for one direction. When I say he YELLED at me, I mean he YELLED at me. He actually can’t stop once he starts. He doesn’t let you speak and called me a liar, telling me that the driver stopped for water (which she didn’t because that was supposed to be on the bus BEFOREHAND, and I wasn’t about to take any more time we paid for out of our travel time to run an errand that should have been provided to us before we got on.) He told me over and over again that I was a liar and he wouldn’t just let me explain my side of the story.
I called him back a little later once we were both settled down and he didn’t answer so I left him a message asking for $ 100 back. He called me and told me he would give me $ 50. What a cheapskate! I am actually going take up his poor business practices of scamming people and «cash» business with the Better Business Bureau. I have a feeling he is scamming on paying his taxes on his business too.
FINAL REVIEW: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! IT IS AWFUL!

I used this company for my 30^th birthday party. I had about 30 people on my bus. Well to start, the driver was 30 minutes late, rude and was a complete LAME. Him being late made us off track for the club hop that we signed up for. The loser wouldnt allow us to roll the privacy window up, and basically ruined my birthday party. The bus was decent, but didnt come with an ipod connection, like advertised, and you cant have the plasma on while listening to the music, its one or the other. The only good part was the clubs were cool and the guy handling the clubs was really nice and awesome. Other than that… I will never deal with this company again. Needless to say, he didnt get the $ 200 tip that I planned on giving when the night was over. Also, The guy Langston that handled everything was so unorganized, its a shame. Trust me, you can find better.

Technically I can’t say there was anything wrong with our experience. We were in Los Angeles from NYC for a 2-​day corporate meeting, and a good percentage of our team has an unhealthy hankering for Karaōke. The rest of us like the idea of cruising around town in a limo. Of course, you can fit more people into a «bus» and these busses are decked out with lights & comfy seats and stripper poles (we left unused), so we didn’t mind that we were in a slightly dorkier looking vehicle. Except maybe Brian. I think he’s got a thing with appearances.
Anyway, Karaōke was the clincher on this one. We just wanted to bring our tone-​deaf group of cubicle dwellers out for a night on the road between our hotel & dinner. So maybe part of the disappointment with the system was that none of us can sing very well. Or it could’ve been that the song selection was awful and the user experience was confusing. The driver coulda dug the song list out a bit earlier too. That mighta helped. But for some reason, the microphones were set to distort our voices & no one could figure out how to change that or find songs. Turns out we were doing everything right, but there were no songs to find. Who doesn’t have Sweet Caroline? Who doesn’t have everything by Bön Jovi? This karaōke system was bizarre, and the anachronistic photos of grandpa’s 70’th birthday party showing up behind the lyrics drove one of my colleagues to state that it felt like her childhood was being raped.
Again, I do want to note that the service was fine. The driver was on time, put up with multiple terrible renditions of Bohemian Rhapsody and Total Eclipse of the Heart, and went out to buy some more booze when we were at dinner. He could’ve picked up better vodka than Smirnoff and better whiskey than «Black Velvet», but hey, beggars can’t be choosers. He picked up a ton of mixers too.
All in all, it was an average experience. 2 stars woulda been too low. 3 stars feels a bit high. But I’d rather give 3 stars, because on paper, everything went right. Langston even tried to look into a karaōke system for a bigger bus when I told him we might need more room. He was accomodating, and the price is definitely right.

DO NOT use this company! They are full of BS!!! Our entire party as we speak has been waiting for over an hour for the bus.
This was a bad experience since the deposit, they overcharged my credit card!!! These people have ruined my sister’s birthday!

OOMMGGG I used this company over the weekend for my 24^th birthday and it was amazing!!! From Day 1 of my search for a party bus, Lankston and his prices had me sold! I got a 32 – 36 passenger bus that was awesome!!! the lights were amazing, the bus really looked like a club on wheels… including the stripper pole =)! I cant express how much I enjoyed myself and this company made it all possible. Our bus driver John was THEE best ever! he was on time for pick up, and when we left the club he was there to pick us up with in 5 minutes!
If i could give more stars I would! You can not get any more professional then these guys! Lankston and John you guys are the best! Thanks again!

I’ve used a lot of limo services over the years of partying in LA, Vegas and SF. Lankston’s Ultimate Party Bus Experience stands up with the very best of them.
First of all, the rates are great but from my experience that often spells trouble because when you cut prices you also cut costs and corners. Even worse, you often wind up stuck with additional fees at the last minute. This was not the case here. We negotiated a rate and that was exactly what I paid the night of the booking.
Moving on to the bus itself — it was exactly as described and the interior was even better than I expected for the price I paid. Again, getting what you were promised is not always the case with tricked out party limos — especially when it comes to things like iPod hookups and other electronics that break easily.
Finally, and most importantly, I want to give a shout out to our driver Santos. He was absolutely perfect. Wholly professional, courteous and unobtrusive he also drove nonstop back and forth around all of LA when we decided to split up into two groups.
All in all — Ultimate Party Bus Experience is precisely that.
Kudos to Lankston and his team for running an honest and professional business in an industry where many chose the low road.

Hollywood Men… been there, done that. I wanted something different for for my last days as a single lady.
My sister booked the Ultimate Party Bus Experience. We got a small mini bus complete with party lights, bumping music, and the best feature… stripper pole! Oh yeah!
They picked us up from Hamburger Mary and drove us to any club we wanted to go and picked us up to head to the next club. We brought our own adult beverages aboard for pre-​party. We had fun taking pictures and swinging around the pole as we headed for the Hollywood nightlife.
I think the UPBE can hook up the customers to certain clubs without cover, but my sister had some other Hollywood clubs she wanted us check out and contacted the promoters on her own: Teddy’s, Opera, and Kress. I think the UPBE is a fun alternative to getting table service to a club since it is a little bit cheaper and you can club hop without the walking, the driving, the parking fees, cover charge.
The only downside was there wasn’t a separate cooler for ice, which we needed for some for the cocktails we were drinking on the bus. And they could’ve stocked some cold oj, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and Coke so we could mix more drinks.
We felt like VIPs in our little party bus and partied like rock stars!

The great thing about Unilocal is that it is an open forum for customers of different business to share their experiences and in some cases, allow them to gain better feedback on how to serve customers in the future.
The owner of this business contacted me recently and would appreciate if I mentioned some things that were not made clear in my original review.
1) A hummer limo was sent out to us when our bus broke down. Apparently, in this industry, no such arrangement is required by the company to do so. This was a new fact to me and had I known this prior, a party bus would not have been an option for the celebration.
2) The owner arranged for us to get into another club since our original plan did not fall through. The problem that happened on that particular night was that neither myself or the owner contacted the driver to let them know of the change of plans so we were not sure where we were going in Hollywood. Blame that on miscommunication.
In the end, I felt like these accomodations were not enough to justify a great experience with this particular business. I had requested some of our money back which I deemed fair but that arrangement could not be made.

They have a huge variety of cars, from buses to regular limos, SUV style and towncar. Lankston was unbelievably patient with all of the last minute changes we made, even up until the 3 hours before pick up. Our driver was super nice and easy going. I would highly recommend them and will use them again for other events in the future!
