I had appointment for 12:30pm on Saturday. The guy was a no show. Didn’t even have courtesy to call and inform that he will be late. No respect for other people’s time. After I left a message at company’s voicemail at around 2pm that’s when they called me conveniently saying their software was not working and that they can send somebody at 4:30pm. I said no thanks, I will go with another company.

Based on the good reviews, I was very surprised on the lack of professionalism. Called a tech for an estimate who identified the issue as a gas valve problem and quoted me for the fix. The tech then proceeded to fix the issue and the system didnt turn on, so he said that the thermostat was faulty, and for me to replace it because he would have to add $ 170 to the inital quote to fix it. I took his suggestion and tried it after he left on a hurry.
I installed the thermostat correctly. The thermostat didnt work, and the heat never turned on. We were pushed to call them back to urge them to finish fixing the system, since there was no heat on the house. Another tech came out really late and after identifying a third problem, different from the last two, added a $ 180 charge to the quote.
By the way, we were charged for the initial quote.
A ~280 dollar bill became a ~460 dollar one in the span of a few hours. The technicians kept adding problems to the inital quote. I wouldn’t waste my time or my money again; I will try to find someone who can abide by the first quoted price next time.

This company is excellent! I’ve had problems with my a/​c before, but this is the first company who offered to send someone out for same day service. That really impressed me right out of the gate. The issue we had was quickly resolved and our air is working great! I highly recommend Alexander Heating and Air!

All I can say is thanks! It was extremely hot and we lost our AC so my wife (who is nine months pregnant) schedule service from another provider, who had set up an appointment and they were a no-​show. I Unilocaled Alexander H&A and made the call. The extremely nice receptionist, who took my call, walked me through some simple steps to try to fix my problem before having to send out a technician. I ended up having to have a tech and Frank showed up when he was supposed to and fixed the problem, Johny on the spot. This made us extremely happy. Not to mention it made me look great, because I am the one that came though with the right company!

We had issues with a different company that was basically a «no show» today. Called Alexander Heating and Air, he got here within 30 minutes. Was extremely friendly and professional. He was able to fix our problem on the spot! We will continue to use this company for any issues that may arise in the future.

We had been royally screwed by the hvac company who had JUST inspected our newly bought home 7 weeks before when our AC went out and the previous company was quoting us over a week to come help us. We called Alexander hvac and they were at our house in 24 hours, were prompt and knowledgable, and gave us our cheapest option of fixing our hvac.

We noticed our AC wasn’t working one evening and I went directly to Unilocal for some assistance. I was excited to see a locally owned shop that is close to our house with amazing reviews. Worth a shot. I called the next morning and got an appointment for the afternoon. Frank was in the area in the morning and was able to squeeze us in early. Bonus!
Frank was great! He had our issue pegged within 10 minutes, and had the whole thing wrapped up and complete within 30min. I troubleshoot processes for a living and I was thoroughly impressed. We now have a go to HVAC guy!

Frank helped me out in a pinch and he knew exactly what needed to be replaced and freon added to my heat pump. Eventhough I have a home warranty service, I had met Frank a while back and knew he would help when I needed.
The A/​C wasn’t cooling enough and he immediately determined the thermostat needed to be replaced. He was on time and cost effective…
I definitely recommend Alexander Heating and Air Conditioning for service work for homes or businesses!

Came promptly to give several different estimates for a complete HVAC transplant. We talked in detail and he and his main installer were very informed about all the possibilities. Did the job within a few days, did it right, cut cooling bills in half.

I tried these guys based on the great reviews, but was left disappointed. The office was great and the tech showed up on time, it all started good. But then he couldn’t seem to find the problem. He wanted to replace the thermostat, but didn’t have one (or at least not the right one). He said he would order it and the office would call to reschedule. After 3 weeks of waiting, I called another service. Who came out the same day and fixed it — and it wasn’t the thermostat, it was a transformer. Was he in over his head, or did I fall through the cracks?
