I must be a glutton for punishment. This restaurant defies all logic. The biggest issue appears to be a manager(black shirt) who is more interested in yelling at the cooks than making sure the bar has food on it. 20 min wait just to get orange chicken. Just sad.

Checked menu options PRIOR to my arrival. Upon arrival, I ordered the tofu eggplant bowl. I was told they do not have tofu. I asked why their menu states that they do. Employee advised me that their menu does NOT say that. After pulling up their menu and showing the employee that their establishment does, in fact, advertise a tofu bowl, she advised that that must only be for certain locations. I then inquired if they had any vegetarian options and was told«No., pretty much everything has meat». EPICFAILPANDA… EPICFAIL…

Worst service ever. I left without my food and went to a neighboring restaurant.

I know this is fast food, but I thought the food was great! The walnut shrimp is my favorite along with the cheese rangoon! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs to pick up a quick meal! :-)

Very disappointed with stale cold food. We went on Saturday afternoon with kids and food felt it was a day old, not freshly made.

I have been to several other panda express and the quality /taste of food served was much better than served at this location … We ordered siracha shripm, seasame chickenand teriyaki chicken. The chowmein was quite dry. cold and was difficult to eat . For some reasons the quantity of side almost took up the entire plate so as to reduce the quantity of entrée.

This place really needs more staff. One employee cooking and one employee taking orders equals long wait times and food constantly running out. I came to get honey sesame chicken, and they were out. I was told to wait 5 minutes for them to make more, so I did. As soon as they made more, another customer ordered 3 entrees of honey sesame chicken for himself(!!!) and they ran out – again. We were hungry, and decided that mediocre«Chinese» food was not worth waiting for, so we left and went elsewhere. I gave an extra star because the employees were friendly and trying their best. Get it together, Panda, and hire some more staff. Your bottom line will still be met.

I came here after a baseball tournament and can honestly say that it was my first experience at a Panda Express. The place is clean and the folks are very friendly inside. Now, I’m known for partaking in spicy foods and they catered to that! I ordered the Peppercorn Shrimp and asked for a little more kick to it. They added some pepper sauce that did just the trick! Thanks for catering! Everything on the side was great and fresh tasting. I’d definitely go back!

Fact — I love Panda Express Opinion — every other PE tastes better than this location Ok, we all know that PE is an Americanized version of a Pan-Asian type eatery. It’s designed to be fresh and tasty with Asian influence. It’s not supposed to be super authentic or anything. In my opinion this location is just lackluster. The location by Golf and Roselle rocks and so does Barrington and Schaumburg. But here, at Higgins &59 the food tastes under seasoned and over cooked and not as fresh. Portions seem smaller, which isn’t a huge deal, and the chow mein is dry. Similar to another review, the tall tables were not clean in my visits. Didn’t bother me since I take it to go but not a good start to have the tables closest to the door with old food and plates. I’ve been to this location 3 times and will not return. The other 2 locations I reference above are equally close to home. So yes, 2 stars. As Unilocal says, «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» and I have from their other locations.

Great variety and friendly staff, but I noticed that some of the tables(the tall ones) weren’t cleaned of and they did not get cleaned while I dined there. To top off my dining experience here, they were playing Indian music.

I take back all the jabs I made at Panda Express. I gave in to checking out Panda Express after an exhausting day. What grabbed me about it is actually the freshness of the food. I saw covered crates of freshly cut vegetables at the back of the open kitchen. Wow, not frozen. Fresh. And cut daily. The portions are generous, and truly quite delicious. The shrimp in Honey Walnut Shrimp is HUGE and wonderfully battered. To me, to be a decent Chinese eatery, the noodles have to be done right — not soggy. Panda Express delivered on flavor and consistency. I’ll take the noodles over rice any day. Lotfi is the manager at this location, and he’s a wonderful man. The husband and I had a nice, short chat with him. We will certainly return, and it’s definitely not for lack of ideas anymore.

Nothing beats Chinese style fast food like Panda Express. Nothing fancy just a quick place to go for Chinese food when one is hungry and on a tight budget. The food is nothing out of the ordinary, but there is always something good about the food at Panda Express. I don’t know what it is, maybe it is the MSG, but I am always drawn to this place whenever I’m at some food court at some mall. Forget the other places in the food court, as soon as I see the Panda Express sign, I am drawn like a mosquito to a flame. Once they give you a free sample of their Orange Chicken, so perfectly glazed with their spiced honey sauce, then they got you trapped.
