This is a small, cramped and disorganized consignment store. I was shocked at the condition of most of the clothes and shoes. Damaged and well-worn. Most of the shoes were high-end names, but so worn and gross that my girlfriend wouldn’t even try them on. The racks are loaded with wrinkled and unbuttoned clothes, so even if it was something good, it looked like a rag. Nothing was priced and the owner seems to make up prices on a whim. There is also another man there who was pushing expensive purses on my girlfriend, even when she was very specific about what she was looking for. She said she never carries a satchel and he kept pulling out satchels to the point where it was hard to even look at things because he was so pushy. There is no music or atmosphere at all, just two surly and dishevelled men and a lot of «stuff.» We had visited the store once before in the old Washington Street location and were also disappointed then. We had hoped that by moving to a new space, things would change, and gave the store a second chance. We shop at many upscale consignment stores in NY and NJ, but this is not one we would ever go back to. Not worth the trip.
