I ordered delivery through Eat 24, I got the lunch special of pork lo mein which came with a won ton soup and I added crab rangoons. Everything tasted really good, the only complaint I had is that they did not include the pink dipping sauce for the rangoons, this made me sad. I will order from them again but be sure to specify to send the sauces. It took over an hour for delivery

this is the only place that really makes the food well! the General Tso’s is the best I have had and I have eaten in every chinese restaurant in hoboken and jersey city! for the dumplings, I usually get the pork or shrimp but tried steamed hunan style and it was great! the only thing is it already comes in a gravy no dipping, but the gravy was a sweet and spicy at same time.
if you like hot and sour soup, and you like seafood-​Definitely get the hot and sour seafood soup. only comes in large but full of shrimp crab and calamari along with all the other hot and sour veggies we like! delivery was within 20min (kudos)

Ohhh yea! Great experience for the first delivery attempt, looking forward to dining in. From the top: kind lady on phone taking the order, honestly i can’t say i get that often from many restaurant of such cuisine. She took her time and was very helpful too as to why i should go with cucumber over avocado with my unagi roll. We asked for extra Wasabi/​soy and they delivered (no pun intended:)
We ordered several special rolls and lots of salmon type rolls. Each was well prepared with fat brightly colored pieces of fresh fish. Avocado was fresh and rice ratio was perfect –especially given the prices!
Delivery was timely and the elderly gentleman at our door for drop off was extremely kind. I felt a bit guilty as it was very cold out, the day before a ferocious blizzard was en route to hit Hudson County.
All in all, a great experience (and that was without even setting foot in the door)! Looking for a local Sushi fix with great prices and uncompromised quality –look no further. Looking forward to next time… hopefully very soon!

The food arrived in 70 minutes. Cooked items were lukewarm at best and so were the items that were suppose to be cold.
The general tso’s I asked for very spicy. It was bland with no spice whatsoever.
The ginger sauce that came with the salad was very runny– like the restaurant adds water to it to save money.
I was told when ordering online that I should order rice because most entrees don’t come with it. Well mine did come with rice so thanks for luring me into ordering something I did not need to.
Why did my fried wontons have lettuce on the bottom? What’s the point?
The sushi was also pretty bad. First off my shrimp tempura roll had rotten avocado in it. Look at my picture. I open the delivery bag and that is the first thing I see. Between that and a 70 minute wait, this is not a good start. The sushi was not rolled properly and fell apart each time I tried dipping it into the soy sauce. This was the first time in my entire life that I seriously considered eating sushi with a fork.
Disappointing experience.

the Food was not bad, but the deliver apparently has no patience at all. I missed his phone call and let him waited for a few mins, then he went crazy and started cursing my family while I did apologize for the inconvenience. Take my mood of eating away really quick.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. I love that they have a various menu. Always hot, fresh and delicious.
Sushi as well. I order at least 2 times a week and they are very quick and the delivery people are always so sweet and curteous. Love them!

I ordered the General Tso chicken dinner special and a pint of Pork Lo Mein. I am very picky when it comes to General Tso Chicken, but when I ordered from this place it was great! Delivery was right on time and I finally have a Chinese spot where I can order on a regular basis.
I definitely recommend!

When looking through Unilocal for a place to order take-​out/​delivery for the first time, I found this place had the best reviews. Despite the lacking stars, if you read the reviews, they get mostly positive responses with a few major complaints (it took too long, was too basic, etc).
I am a visual person I guess cause I ordered the first 2 pictures on Unilocal: the general tsos and the salmon teriyaki bento box. At the last minute for pure impulse, I added on a cooked salmon & avocado roll. I can’t say no to sushi, especially $ 5.75 sushi. The total with tip was $ 32, a steal in my mind. **When ordering online they let you add comments — which would save so many of the naysayers from their trouble. For instance, I put my phone number for them to call because our buzzer is broken & I asked for ginger dressing with the salad, both successfully accomplished.
As for the food, I was blown away. It’s not «the best» of all Chinese/​Japanese food around but it is excellent, especially for no delivery fees & only a $ 10 minimum from Hoboken to jersey city. I loved the dinners equally & they were very flavorful with fluffy white rice. The sushi rolls were fresh & had HUGE avocado, my favorite. For the 2 of us, we had plenty and now we have enough for lunch tomorrow. The meals come with soup & salad/​veggies, and the dinner bento box had shumai & a California roll with the salad, miso soup, & salmon teriyaki.
I already cannot wait to order again from here, this will be our go-​to takeout. It also was delivered quickly & within the hour! Cannot recommend enough!

This place is the worst. My order was delivered 2 hours late. When I called after an hour and half of it being late. The lady who answered, gave me an attitude and was super rude. She said it was on its way, there were to many orders out. When the delivery man arrived and rang my doorbell like 4 times in a row, super obnoxious. And on top of it my bag of food and food smelled stronhly like cigarettes, gross.

LOVEEEEEE this place! The sushi is amazing… you MUST get the sushi. OMG it’s literally the freshest sushi ever. Seriously, I’ve eaten at some of the popular sushi joints in the city and I still say, Instana’s sushi tastes better. I’m a burger and fries kinda girl, but their sushi though? I’ve been addicted to it for the past few months… yes, months. I eat from here on avg, 3 times a week. The lady who works there is always super nice and friendly. Once I accidentally ordered the hand-​roll sushi, and she called to verify if really wanted it or the maki roll. Now that’s some quality customer service! My food always arrives steaming hot and they’ve never messed up any of my orders.

1hr and 20min to get delivery, and this is 25 minutes after I was told on the phone that it would be there right away 30 minutes prior to arrival. When it got there the food was room temp. Safe to say that I sent it home.

Love this food. It’s so good. However the delivery person yelled at us because he was waiting outside out building. But he never buzzed the doorbell. Wish that they were a little more considerate to their customers.

Placed an online order the other day for a couple of rolls via eat24. I ordered pickup and they were even courteous enough to call and check to see if that was an accident or not.
Rolls were delicious, specifically the sunshine roll. Fish was fresh, my only complaint may be that there was a tad bit too much rice for my liking.

This places makes great sushi, provides plenty of extra ginger, and wasabi.

This place is great! Their sushi is amazing and always tastes fresh. I recommend sticking to the sushi though, as their Chinese food isn’t as good as what I’ve had elsewhere in Hoboken, though it certainly isn’t bad.
Delivery has also been prompt when I’ve ordered that instead of picking up my food.

I am always weary of trying new sushi restaurants so I was a bit hesitant about this place. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll, beef negimaki and white rice. I ordered through grub hub and my order arrived relatively quickly however the delivery driver was beyond rude. He incessantly rang my bell even after I kept saying «WHO??» he just kept ringing and then he gets to my door hands me my bag and walks away without a word. Talk about, RUDE! Anyway the sushi was okay the beef was good and white rice is white rice. Ultimately it’s nothing to rave about, I’ve had better that’s for sure and the delivery driver turned me off from ordering from here again. Still on a quest to find good sushi that delivers to Union City…

I tried this place after I got a mailer under my door. Delivery guy didn’t understand English and I had to meet him downstairs even though I kept giving him instructions to buzz and meet at my door.
On to the food– Gross! I got steamed chicken dumplings. There was little to no chicken, chicken itself tasted weird, and the sauce was nasty. Shrimp fried rice and chicken lo mein were not good. No taste– almost tasted off. Yellowtail sashimi appetizer was so bad that I threw it out upon first bite. Nasty fish. I ate hardly anything and wasted $ 30.
Do not order from here! Spend the extra few dollars and order from Precious– the best Chinese/​Japanese place in town.

I love ordering from these guys, they always deliver my food on time and never screw up any of my orders, which is impressive as I make a lot of substitutions.
They cover Japanese, Chinese, and Thai which I have tried and was never disappointed yet.
My personal favorites are the crap rangoon and the Tekka Don sushi. They also have fried chicken wings which aren’t too greasy for when you have that craving.

Best sushi I’ve had in a while — and it was delivery (as of today, I am not aware of a DiGiorno sushi line).
Went on GrubHub (uh, when did NJ get GrubHub? I used it literally every day in Chicago, so I’m happy it’s made its way over to the East Coast) — and searched for sushi. Istana was the first result and I clicked (read = laziness FTW).
Ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll (extra ginger please!) and the Spicy Girl roll (snaps in Z formation) and it was promptly delivered ahead of the time GrubHub predicted!
The sushi was delicious — very flavorful, and came with that extra ginger. Left me a full and happy (and maybe a little spicy) girl.

I haven’t been here, but I’ve ordered online and their food is always great! The hot and sour soup tastes great and their California rolls are yummy.
They are pretty quick with delivery and have a really large menu!
