I’ve ordered from this place maybe five times now. They have such a large menu as they have chinese, japenese, thai, sushi, etc. I’ve mainly stuck to the chinese food. General/sesame chicken, fried/white rice, pork dumplings, pork lo mein, sushi, egg rolls, and few other things. This place is the best I’ve tried in hoboken thus far. The food is very good, always quickly prepared when ordering take out. Also, for the amount of food you get a great price. Hope to try some of their Thai options soon.

The fact that this place has 2.5 stars is unbelievable. Nothing was edible and it was unclear what we were actually eating. If they tell you it will be ten minutes to have 4 dishes ready for take out, run.

Extremely late delivery. Once called, the employees offer no assistance to let you know when the food will be delivered. Food is okay — but not great. This will be the last time I order from them.

I have been ordering from this place for years and it’s usually good. I am a little surprised at how many bad reviews there are. The prices are good and so is the food. Delivery can take a while sometimes.

Should have checked Unilocal before ordering from this place. I naively trusted reviews which clearly were an inflated version of a real review. I’ll make this short and sweet. There are lots of places that make similar food at a much higher quality, order or eat there. I only ordered 3 simple things but they couldn’t even get that right. Wonton soup was average tasting but the wontons were mushy and tasteless. The roast pork was coated in sugar, weird! The veggie fried rice was lackluster. All this after waiting an hour for it to be delivered. Wah wahhhhh. 2 stars it is!

Free delivery, pretty good Chinese and sushi. My roommate and I go here often when we can’t decide between Chinese and sushi; they are one of the few places that offers both. They usually take a lot longer for delivery than other Chinese restaurants in Hoboken do. My favorite dish to order at Chinese places is Buddhist Delight and vegetable rolls. They’re Buddhist Delight was pretty good, but very doused in sauce making it less healthy than similar dishes I’ve ordered at other places around. However, they do have a diet section on their extensive menu. Lots of food options! I was very disappointed in their vegetable rolls, which are usually one of my obsessions. They were too hard and almost cold, probably because of the long delivery time.

Totally forgettable, except in that they forgot the sauce for sweet and sour chicken… what? Delivery time was mediocre(~45ish minutes when we are 4 blocks away) and it took an additional 35 minutes after we called about the missing sauce to redeliver that. Sushi was just OK, general tso’s was good but not great, wonton soup was bland. Too many better options in the area to reorder from a place that forgets main ingredients in dishes.

Worst Chinese and sushi my boyfriend and I have ever had. Could live with the food being wrong(1 sushi roll, dumplings, and sweet and sour chicken) but the quality and grossness was just bad. I love bad good Chinese food and this was not it.

I’ve had the Chinese food and sushi from here, and I was pleasantly surprised by both. I’m usually pretty picky about my sushi, and I really love the rolls here. Their takeout service is really fast. The only negative thing I have to say is that their sit down service is pretty slow. You get your food quickly, but getting them to take your order and give you a check is like pulling teeth.

Really solid food. Our chinese delivery place of choice in Hoboken. They are incredibly fast, almost too fast. A very good problem to have. The dumplings are fantastic. The chicken and broccoli is good quality meat and vegetables. I have never been disappointed.

Ordered through grub hub. Worst food I have ever had. We ordered Malaysian beef, pork dumplings and Lemongrass Chicken. The beef tasted like old gone off peanut butter, the chicken was tasteless and the dumpling were chewy and bland. I will never order from here again

I hadn’t ordered from here in years, but wow was this a train wreck last night. They did NOTHING right. In 6 years and 3 months in Hoboken, this was probably the WORST delivery I’ve had, including some pretty bad breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late night experiences. Order placed through , I called after 45 mintues to let them know I had to leave at a certain time(1:15 after placing the order; should be plenty of time). The food arrived 1:20 later. Not unprecedented, but when I call for an estimate, give it to me. When the driver arrived, he called me to come downstairs and honked at me to come to his car, in the rain, to get the food. That’s not delivery, that’s curbside service. But when the tip is pre-determined, that’s the shit service you get. The egg drop soup was decent, but the pan fried noodles was awful, the wontons in chili oil were in some weird, bad peanut sauce, hot and sour wasn’t spicy or salty at all, and the chicken and vegetables was completely bland boiled chicken. I was tempted to cut them slack on the slow delivery due to it being a rainy Sunday, but isn’t that the #1 time to order delivery? And not getting a quote and having to come out in the rain for shitty food, they should feel fortunate Unilocal gives them 1 star just for showing up.

I like their food… but their customer service is probably the worst in Hoboken out of any restaurant and any cuisine. Their delivery time is HORRIBLE. I wish there was a better word for me to describe just how bad it is. I ordered my food two hours ago… I have called them twice… and both times, «Food is on its way.» Here I sit at 9:10pm when I ordered dinner at 7pm. Who the hell wants to eat a big dinner right before bedtime? I go through this every time I order from them. I kept going back because I love their food, but I would sometimes place my order two hours before I actually wanted to eat because of their horrible wait times. I have finally just stopped ordering from them altogether and would recommend ALL of you stay clear of them. unless you don’t mind waiting hours for a delivery of fried rice.

CHANGINGMYTUNEHERE! I’m prefacing this review with the fact that I’ve been eating at Asia since I was in college and it has always been my go to until tonight. I am not one to ever criticize customer service unless it is absolutely terrible, so read on. My boyfriend and I ordered dinner at 7:30 and didn’t get it until 10:00. A snapshot of the issues that occurred– — I called 3 or 4 times to check on the status of my food, being that we live only a few blocks away it shouldn’t have been more than an hour. Was told«it’s on the way» of course, but they didn’t start preparing the food until I called the first time(I heard the phone woman yell at the cooks). — My boyfriend had to call from his cell phone because they have a new habit of screening their phone calls and they stopped answering me since I was apparently bothering them because I was curious as to why it’d take almost 3 hours to prepare General Tso’s, pork dumplings, and fried rice. — My boyfriend explained that we had been waiting for a while and if the food didn’t show soon we would just cancel the order. The woman on the phone kept saying she would give us 20% next time(at this point we had already decided there would never be a next time). When my boyfriend asked if the food was riding around in the car for an hour, the woman stayed silent(AKA yes, it indeed was sitting cold in the back of someone’s car) — Once the food showed, we discovered the order was all wrong/looked and tasted like the worst Chinese food I have ever ordered in my 23 years of life. It was horrendous. It was cold and gooey, and missing stuff. I got chicken dumplings instead of pork, white rice instead of fried, no sauce for my chicken, no soup, no fortune cookies!!! — I called back because at this point I was crazy annoyed. I explained that our food was incorrect and the woman told me «oh, we didn’t have X so I told the delivery man to bring Y instead.» Is that how it works nowadays? The business gets to decide what I would like to eat instead of letting me know the item is unavailable? Also, in what lifetime is fried rice not available at a Chinese takeout joint? — I asked that I be refunded for the food that I received but did not order, and the woman offered to «bring me dumplings tomorrow.» Note– I’m eating dinner NOW. I’m not going to sit in my apartment and wait for you to bring me dumplings for my meal TONIGHT. Also annoyed she didn’t offer to bring the other food they forgot.(Hah, just kidding… maybe) Their customer service is completely backwards, and they have completely lost my business. I will say again, I am NOT one to criticize a business for customer service when the food hits the spot, but being that both completely sucked, I’m ending this relationship for good. It’s not me Asia, it is most definitely YOU.

If you’re looking for(and fine with) cheap sushi, then I say go for it! I don’t mind cheap sushi sometimes, but you’re giving up freshness, especially of raw fish — so be careful! I ordered the Kamikaze roll, crunchy spicy tuna, and shrimp tempura roll. Both the kamikaze and crunchy spicy tuna roll were indistinguishable from each other and the shrimp tempura in the shrimp tempura roll was stale-ish. This was only a decent lunch because I had to fulfill my sushi craving with little cash on hand, but its def not a place I’d frequent often or take a date to.

I ordered a take out. Hoboken and Dragon rolls, Maki combo, seaweed salad. Maki combo comes with soup or salad and you can choose your three rolls. Reasonably priced sushi, prepared quick. Tasted good. This is a no thrills place with a few tables to dine in. Customers mostly order delivery or take out. I’ve never seen people there except for delivery folks and occasional take out person like me.

This is one of my top two fave Chinese places in Hoboken. Their food is delicious! They also have sushi which is awesome and their minimum for delivery is only $ 5, you literally can’t beat that. And when I order for delivery they’re usually calling me that they’re outside in less than 20 minutes. Simply awesome.

Maybe we got lucky, I don’t know but, I was shocked to see the other reviews of this restaurant. Last night my son and I stuck to our tradition of going to Maxwell’s for Hanukkah and the Yo La Tengo concert there. Unfortunately, their restaurant was full and could not accommodate us with seating in sufficient time so we could eat and see the show. So we took a walk down Washington St to see what we could find. Asia is a small take out place that makes a variety of Asian cuisines. There’s a few tables inside so we sat and were served. My son is vegetarian and ordered Hot and Sour soup along with General Tso’s Tofu(see pictures). They have a nice selection of Chinatown style noodle soups so I ordered Udon noodles with sliced beef in my soup(see pictures) and an appetizer of boneless spare ribs. Everything was awesome. Both soup portions were huge. I recommend not ordering anything else if you order the Chinatown soups as they are extremely filling. The General Tso’s sauce was amazing on the tofu. Personally I’m no tofu lover but, this was so crisp and tasty. The broccoli perfectly steamed. a five star dish for sure. I enjoyed the boneless spareribs but, the soup was too much and I had to take it home. It ended up being a wonderful lunch on a chilly afternoon here today. I guess like many places YMMV but, we can’t wait to go here again. PS — bill for everything was about $ 22. Based on the reviews for delivery I recommend for very casual dining or pickup. Enjoy!
