hob’art co-​operative gallery is Hoboken’s only artists’ co-​operative. Our mission is two fold. One, we work with our member artists to be inspired to create, to promote, to market, to exhibit, and to sell their work. Two, we work to make Hoboken the preeminent arts destination that it was in the past. We do this through workshops, critiques, exhibitions, film nights, artists talks, and slide evenings at our gallery and various locations in Hoboken and the larger community.

History

Established in 2002.

Formed in 2002, hob’art is a co-​operative gallery run by its officers and members. Our objective is to exhibit contemporary art of the highest standard. As a collective gallery, we welcome and encourage a wide range of art work and media: fiber, printmaking, digital, photography, sculpture/​3D, painting, drawing and mixed media.
