Choosing an accountant can be a daunting task for a young person. I actually found Grasso & Company on google and couldn’t be more happy. Sal shoots you straight and explains everything. My partner and i received some prior tax advice, that if we would of carried on any further, would of put us in a really bad $ituation. Grasso & Company straightened everything out for us, even saved us some money by writing a letter to the IRS advising them of our prior poor advice. I’ve been a client of Grasso & Company for over 10 years. Sal has done a tremendous job on my multi-​state tax returns. He is incredibly diligent and extremely detail oriented. He compares prior year returns to ensure no income categories go unreported and informs me of any discrepancies he observes that could be the basis of a flawed tax return. He took on a special project for me several years ago when I had a dispute with a former employer regarding the tax characterization of stock options. He researched the issue and represented me before the IRS resulting in a complete reversal of the tax liability. I moved to a state without an income tax so my tax situation is a bit less complicated but I continue to engage Sal year after year knowing I am good hands.
