Description

Specialties

Interventional pain management focuses on actively treating illnesses, conditions or injuries that cause pain and limit function. One of the unique advantages of interventional pain management is that it involves the full spectrum of care — everything from initial diagnosis to personalized treatment and ongoing pain relief programs — all aimed at helping patients avoid surgery and reducing their reliance on drugs while improving their quality of life.

Spine Care & Pain Management’s board-certified physicians have successfully treated thousands of pain sufferers. We can do the same for you.

History

Established in 1999.

Spine Care & Pain Management, founded by Janene Holladay, M.D., started out as a small, one-physician practice located in Athens, GA. Dr. Holladay opened the doors to her practice while continuing to work at local emergency departments, so that she could afford the costs of opening a new practice on her own. A little over a year later the practice began to grow and Dr. Holladay devoted herself full time to Spine Care & Pain Management. Soon after she began recruiting additional physicians. Within a short time the physicians realized there was a need for interventional pain management in the area outside of Athens and opened the Winder location. We have since added an additional six locations in North Georgia. As the practice has grown and gained many wonderful patients we have also gained remarkable new physicians.
