For a tiny, hole-in-the-wall pizza joint, this place really is as good as it gets! They have«famous» garlic-knot sliders that are an amazing idea. Garlic knots by themselves are delicious, but just think what they would be like when used as mini-buns to make sliders with your favorite meat(or vegetarian) items inside! They also have traditional Italian fare, along with a big selection of sandwiches and lots of good vegetarian options to choose from. The food preparation area is clean and obviously well-kept. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the dining area was clean and comfortable. Groups of more than four will have to break into smaller groups. I do not understand some of the bad reviews of this place. We will be back!

Pizza tastes very good, and the price was very reasonable for this area, $ 11 for a large pie. But they are too cheap to care about their customers’ comfort: it was over 90 degrees outside(and about one hundred degrees inside due to the ovens) when we visited last week and again today, but no a/c. By the time we finished our pizza, we were all dripping with sweat and reeked. Had to go home and change clothes this time rather than continue to our friends’ house as planned. When we said that they really need a/c, the guy who seemed to be the owner shrugged and didn’t seem pleased, then said nothing as we left.

I go into big daddy’s for a cheesesteak. I mean I wasn’t expecting a good ol Philly cheesesteak, but I at least thought it would be a good sub. I should have checked my food before I left. I get my sub home and it’s FULL of Peppers and onions, but hardly any MEAT! I should have taken it back but I didn’t even have time to do so. I’m not saying all their food is bad, because I got a good Caesar salad from them before. But the cheesesteak? HUGEDISAPPOINTMENT.

Great pizza, I also love their eggplant rollatini. The pasta is cooked al dente and their sauce is pretty good. I’m very picky(don’t order out often) and also Italian so I know my sauce and they don’t just dump a can of tomato sauce over pasta and call it a marinara. Their fresh garlic bread is another favorite. Big Daddy’s is the only place I will order entrees from so def check it out & pick up some flying saucers at ice creamery too.

their pizza has always been burnt tasting to me and although i have heard it is family own, i have heard that the owner or manager yells at his workers. That is unexceptable.

No clue why anyone would say this place has bland pizza. They must not know what great pizza tastes like! By far one of the best in this area, the pies are 18″ and delicious. The sauce really tastes great. Everyone is always friendly and cheerful. Be sure to try their garlic knot skiders. Soooooo good and unique!

I ate the most tasteless pizza at this place and it wasn’t cheap. My fiancée and Ordered two slices of their chicken parmigiana and it was simply awful. It was so tasteless and we could believe it cost us almost eight dollars for two slices. What a rip off. We tried fixing the flavor by adding Parmesan cheese, pepper and salt but with no luck. Argh I was so aggravated I hope they saw the look on our faces. If they don’t make better pizza they are going out of business soon.

I wont waste your time on a long review, but please just trust me when I say this place is awful. simply awful. Staff is friendly, but the food is downright terrible.

Not a fan, but it’ll do for lunch. Friendly staff. My main issue is that the food lacks flavor and is noticably greasy.

It’s upsetting bc Big Daddy’s used to really hit the spot. The sauce on the pizza started becoming too sweet. The garlic knot sliders are good — a good idea, but end up being a ball of grease on the bottom of the container. I won’t knock this place too bad bc its not the worst but could improve. Nice people — owners are nice.

Ordered a personal pepperoni pie. It arrived cold. Had to put it in the oven. Also ordered spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. The sausage tasted like re heated piece of Jerky. The one meatball was ice cold in the middle and tasted like a dense piece of bread. They sent a piece of bread that could feed an infant. And they forgot to deliver my salad so they had to come back. When it arrived it was two fork fulls and had freezer burn. There aren’t many places to order good pizza in our area. So I figured I’d give them a shot. Living in town since 1993 I’ve seen at least 10 different pizzerias fail here. Honestly domino’s has some of the best deals and their pizza is great. Driver showed up to the door and gave me the total I handed him $ 40.00 he asked what I wanted back as change. Who asks that? Needless to say the worst $ 30.00 I ever spent.

Ordered for the first time and enjoyed everything. The Pepperoni Roll was good, the wings were good and the garlic knot sliders were good. All and all i’d say a good place to order from for football games or when having people over.

Food is okay, the pizza was kind of tough and grainy. I also ordered an Italian hot dog which was served to me on an English muffin, lol. I am serious it really was in an English muffin. The hot dog was cut into four pieces with peppers on in served on an English muffin. Too bad I got tale out because I would love to see the cooks face when I ask him if this is serious or not.

I live in town and I usually try places out that I hear of by word of mouth. Not sure why I haven’t heard about this place. I mean, I know they were there, but what can you do? Sunday before the big Christmas festivities so I figured it was going to be a busy night or a slow night for them. I placed a phone order for two pies, their garlic knot sliders(which I was intrigued by on their menu) and a rice ball. I was told 25 minutes(about right) and the phone person was very friendly. Arrived a bit after my window because I was side tracked with Christmas cheer and I paid, got handed a few bags and boxes along with a punch card for future orders and I was on my way. The staff seemed to be friendly as well. When I got home I was a bit surprised but in a good way. Let me take you back to the old days when we were kids and had pizza night. Two big slices hanging over the plate and getting yelled at not to drip the grease everywhere(for the record, I don’t blot my pizza… ever!). This pie reminded me of just that. I have never seen in our local area a pizza slice this big before. I get this triangular piece the fits neatly on the plate and looks depressing. However this place, you get what you pay for. One of the pies had sausage on it and I will say, I’m always a fan of places that do bulk sausage as opposed to slicing it and throwing it on. So I was definitely excited. After experiencing that, I wasn’t even interested in anything else. However, the sliders were interesting, I was a bit skeptical because I know garlic knots can be very tricky. You get three knots as an appetizer and you can pick from a selection. We ended up getting meatball and the chicken parm. Let me tell you, they’re on to something there. It’s perfect because you don’t have to get a whole meatball parm sub and an order of garlic knots. You get a little from column A, a little from column B and it comes out a bit cheaper in the end. I was definitely impressed. Over all, I will be back. I also have to see how the leftover pizza stacks up to the usual day old out of the fridge test.

Wow, such well-prepared sandwiches at a good price. The lunch specials in particular are great deals. The meatballs are juicy and the nicely flaky bread and fresh tomato sauce are both high quality. And the people working here are friendly and involved. I hope they stick around.

Absolutely FABULOUS eggplant rollatini– frankly the best in the area. Pizza is superb, and the sauce for everything is really excellent. Much, much better food than any other pizza style place. And reasonably priced!

A friend tried this place before I did and warned me she wasn’t impressed. Now that I’ve tried it myself, I must agree. I wanted to find a great new place, but this business is not it. The Italian combo contained less meat than a Subway hero and I was disgusted when little strips of «plastic» were discovered lining the deli meat – talk about poor quality, overprocessed meat! The«spicy» wings were not only puny but also not very spicy, and they were served with rubbery celery and Ranch dressing. With so many pizza places in the area, I will stick to my tried-and-true favorites and expect this place won’t last long…
